Jays POV

WE HAVE BEEN TRAINING ALL WEEK! I'm exhausted. Jeez, you would of thought that Sensi would want us at our A-game when The Over Lord attacks us. What help would we be if we're too tired to fight.

The only thing really keeping me going is Nya and her constant encouraging words and my overbearing will to impress her. That and the occasional quick kisses we share when Kai's not looking.

Today is the seventh day of training. We finished off rotating the tasks three days ago and since then we have been fighting each other. Sensi says it will show each other our strengths and weaknesses, but to be honest, I think he's just run out of ideas to teach us, and now he's just filling the empty days until the Over Lord attacks us.

On the plus side everyone here can successfully do Spinjitzu, harness our elemental powers, control inner peace and fight like a proper ninja.

On the down side though the dance, which was supposed to happen last Saturday, is now postponed till next Saturday. I wasn't overjoyed about that because it meant another week that I have to wait to dance with Nya, but Kai was extremely happy about it. But I couldn't tell if it's because he doesn't like the idea of me hanging out and dancing with Nya, or the fact that it gives him more time to ask Skylor to go with him. Seriously, everyday he says 'oh, I'll do it tomorrow' but the next day he uses the same lame excuse.

Anyway, today we are meant to be fighting two on two. So it was Cole and Zane versus Nya and Pixal.

The fight had been going on for almost ten minuets and all throughout it I couldn't stop watching Nya. She was amazing. I just couldn't believe only a few weeks ago, she was starting this school and helping me pick up all my loose bits of paper from when Morro 'accidentally' tripped me up. And now she was my girlfriend, and I was her boyfriend.

As the fight drew to an end, I could tell that the girls were winning because they kept landing kicks and punches and blocking the retaliating counter attacks. But just as things looked to be completely over, with the girls winning, Cole jumped really high in the air and slammed his fists on the ground. In the second he jumped up, you could tell that the fight was gonna be over in a matter of seconds. The impact caused Nya and Pixal to fly backward and land on their backs. The impact also caused all the spectators (me, Kai, Lloyd, Seliel and Skylor) to fly back a couple meters as well.

I groaned and cluched my shoulder. I'd landed pretty badly on it. As I sat up I saw Cole and Zane towering over Pixal and Nya and forcing them to say they won.

"Cole! When you do your little 'earthquake' thing, please try to target it only towards the people your fighting. AND NOT YOUR GIRLFRIEND!" Seliel glared at him.

"Since when are you guys dating?" Lloyd smirked at Seliel.

"D-did I say girlfriend? I meant errr... friend...... who's a girl" She answered awkwardly.

"Suuuuuuure....." Kai replied skeptically.

"Your one to talk Kai" I said lacing sarcasm into my voice.

"What's that supposed to mean?" He said. I gave him a knowing glare which he replied by mumbling to himself.

"Master Of Earth, I see your elemental power is getting stronger, as are the rest of you" Sensi said from behind me. I yelped with shock and crawled away from the suddenly appeared Sensi. But something felt off, I just couldn't put my finger on it.

Cole, Zane, Pixal and Nya came to join the group as Sensi made his daily speech.

"Students, your powers are becoming stronger as Master of Earth has demonstrated. And I can tell you want to develop your powers more, but I must ask you to go home, now" He said slowly, almost as if he's hiding something. Once again I got that feeling that something was off. I glanced at Nya, she had a look of disappointment, but also disbelief, like she thought he was hiding something as well.

"How come uncle?" Lloyd asked, bringing my gaze back towards Sensi.

"For reasons you would not understand...... Go home" He said sternly, his eyes hidden by his straw hat.

"Sensi? Uncle are you okay?" Lloyd said, slowly standing up.

"I said go....home" He said, lifting his head to reveal two red orbs for eyes. He lashed out and kicked Lloyd in his gut, sending him flying. Lloyd lay on the ground clutching his abdomen.

What the heck just happened? And why are Sensi's eyes red?

Skylor and Cole ran to Lloyds side, trying to make him lay on his back. The rest of us were frozen in fear. Sensi creepily turned his head slowly so he was looking at each of us in turn. His whole face was twitching as his eyes landed on his next victim. Pixal. Her eyes widened as he ran at her ready to advance on her. Petrified on the spot and unable to move she just stared at the oncoming Sensi.

A flash of white caught my eye as Zane stood protectively in front of her and took the full impact of the charging Sensi. He cried out in pain as Wu struck him in -what would be- the rib cage. Zane fell to his hands and knees, struggling to take in oxygen. Pixal was at his side in an instant, calming him and trying to make him breathe.

I snapped out of my frozen state and advanced on Sensi, as did Nya, Seliel and Kai.

We began to circle him, like sharks before they feast on their prey. Sensi Wu didn't even flinch, just closed his eyes and waited for us to make the first move.

Being the most impatient person I know, Kai lunged forward, looking to land a swift kick, but sensi Wu had other plans. At the last possible second he grabbed Kai's incoming foot and flung him towards me. We crashed into the floor in a heap.

"What's happened to Sensi" I groaned quickly.

"I don't know, but we need Cole over here!" Kai answered.

"But what about Lloyd?" I asked standing up.

"Switch places with him" he replied, also standing up.

"But-"

"Jay! Let's be real here, his elemental power has gotten the strongest because he's practised the hardest, we need him over her!" He yelled, before going back to help Nya and Seliel with Sensi.

I groaned and ran over to where Cole and Skylor were helping Lloyd.

"Cole..... you need to go over...... to help Kai...... quickly!" I gasped for breath.

He gave me a puzzled look and released Lloyd who took this opportunity to roll back over to clutch his wounded gut.

"Fine, But make sure Lloyd stays on his back, he struggles to breathe otherwise" he said quickly, before sighing and running over to Sensi and the others

"What's happening to Sensi?" Skylor asked me ask she struggled to turn Lloyds body over onto his back.

"I don't know, but something bad is happening" I answered and helped her to turn Lloyds broken body over. "Lloyd you gotta turn over, you can't breathe otherwise!"

"It huuurts!" Lloyd said spitefully while spitting blood out of his mouth. "I..... I have to help...... help the others!"

"Lloyd stop moving! You only making your injuries worse!" Skylor snapped at him.

"I.... don't...... care!" He yelled, squinting his face in pain while a trail of blood spilt out of his mouth. He struggled against mine and Skylors hands as we tried to keep him laying flat.

"LLOYD! This isn't one of your stupid comics! This is reality and your hurt and can't move!" I yelled at him.

He struggling stopped.

"Reality..." He whispered. Thinking for a moment. "Reality!"

Me and Skylor looked at each other and shrugged. Lloyd tried to sit up slowly but Skylor immediately stopped him.

"Lloyd, no" she said placing her hands on his shoulders and forcing him to lay down. I helped, but Lloyd snapped and punched me in the jaw and slapped Skylor hard across the face. We both yelled and jumped back, Lloyd taking this opportunity to sit up again and examine his surroundings. He groaned and winced, using one arm to supports him and the other still clutched his abdomen.

"Lloyd what the hell!?" I yelled at him and felt my jaw for any serious injuries.

Lloyd continued to ignore me and scanned the field before his eyes stopped moving and froze in one spot. "There" he whispered.

"There? What's there?" Skylor asked, one of her hands over the place where Lloyd had slapped her. Lloyds eyes remained in that one spot. Tears beginning to spring from them.

I glanced at what Lloyd was looking at. It was where the field connected to the small wood and I saw someone hiding in the bushes.

Trini.

Her hand was outstretched and she was concentrating on the ongoing fight between our Sensi and his students.

"Wait, this is just an illusion" Skylor gasped.

"So Sensi's not really bad! I knew it!" I cheered.

"But how do we stop her?" Skylor asked glancing back to Lloyd who still had a look of pain on his face. But this time the pain wasn't physical, it was emotional.

"You need to knock out the source." Lloyd whispered before closing his eyes and letting a single tear roll down his face.

"How do we do that?" I asked. Lloyd glared at me. "Right, sorry stupid question"

I felt the lightning pulsing through my veins before firing a small blue bolt toward The Master Of Illusion. As soon and it made contact, Trini collapsed on the ground and the Illusion surrounding us stopped. It was like we were just a dream or hallucination. Sensi disappeared and all Lloyds and Zane physical pain vanished. Along with anyone else's who got hurt by Sensi. Me and Skylor still felt the spot where Lloyd had hit us because he was real whereas the phoney Sensi wasn't.

"What happened?" Cole shouted coming over to us.

"Trini" I answered.

"Trini?" Nya asked, coming to stand next to me and thinking for a second "So it was all an Illusion?".

"Yeah" I whispered.

"But why did it stop? Did she get bored and go home?" Kai asked.

"No, in order to stop the illusion, you had to get rid of the source, and that's what we did." Skylor answered.

"Wait, you killed her!?" Seliel shouted.

"No, no, no, we just knocked her unconscious" I reassured her.

"But how did you know that would work?" Pixal asked.

"Well, we didn't, Lloyd did, if it hadn't been for him we wouldn't of known how to stop her, right Lloyd" I said and looked back towards where he was sitting, but he had vanished. "Lloyd? Lloyd!"

We all looked around frantically, until Cole sighed.

"I know where he is, where's Trini?" He said.

"Over there" Skylor answered pointing over to where she was last seen before I zapped her unconscious. "Why?"

"I think we found Lloyd" He sighed and started to walk over to the where Skylor had pointed. We all followed and on arrival I saw Lloyd kneeling beside her, carefully stroking strands of hair out of her face.

"Lloyd? Are you okay?" Zane asked, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Even though she's a traitor, it still hurts" He said after a few seconds, before standing up and walking away.

"So what now?" I asked, looking at everyone for an answer. Kai and Cole were looking at the sky or deeper into the wood, Pixal and Zane were checking Trini over for any major injuries, Skylor was looking at her the ground and Nya a was biting her lip. All avoiding the question.

I guess none of know what to do now.

So, I finally watched The LNM yesterday and I'm so surprised how similar my story is compared to it. I was so surprised! I really liked it, not gonna lie though, there were some things I would change and tweak, but over all it was a good movie.

Sorry for this chapter coming out late, I have tons of excuses but I can't be bothered to say them so I'm just gonna say I'm sorry. Thx for being patient with me though. I feel like a terrible author.

Also, sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes and sorry if this chapter was a bit confusing.
