Just so you know, there is going to be four parts to 'the dance' each one from a different couples POV, so the first one is Jaya, hope you enjoy.....

Jays POV

"So, what'cha think?" I said doing the moon walk into the kitchen where the other boys were waiting. I was wearing a black suit with an electric blue tie, it just seamed appropriate at the time to buy a tie that relates to my element.

"Really? This has to be the tenth time you've shown us your outfit and asked our opinion just today" Kai groaned, clearly not impressed me. He was also wearing a black suit but with a red tie, which also tied into his element.

"And the tenth time we've said you look fine" Cole also groaned, but added a sneaky eye roll as well. Cole on the other hand was wearing brown suit and black tie, which, funnily enough, tied into his element. Hmmmmm...... I'm starting to see a pattern here......

"I'm starting to think your just fishing for complements now" Zane sighed adjusting his white bow tie in the mirror.

"Well I'm sorry for being optimistic" I huffed, crossing my arms. Zane gave me a funny look.

"Being optimistic has nothing to do with you constantly asking us how you look. So by my calculations, that was a horrific comeback"

"Ohhhhhh, you just got burned!" Kai said bursting with laughter. "Pun intended"

"I'm sorry hothead, but how am I supposed to get 'burned' by the Master of ice?! It doesn't make sense!" Kai stopped laughing and looked at me with a questionable look.

"Since when did you become logical? And on a scarier note, when did you become smart?" He asked. I glared at him and shrunk down on the small sofa.

"Ha ha very funny" I replied sarcastically.

"You guys ready to go?" A voice asked behind me.

Twisting in my seat to get a better look, I saw Nya, Skylor, Seliel and Pixal in four unique and breath taking dresses.

"Woah...." I whispered, the words bearly leaving my hanging mouth.

Nya smiled shyly at me. Her eye makeup was pretty subtle, being just mascara, eye liner and a sparkly nude eyeshadow. The thing that stood out the most was her bright red lips that corresponded with the colour of her dress. Beautiful was an understatement for the sight before me.

"Hey, Jay!" Cole said, clicking his fingers infront of my face making me gain focus again. "Are you just gonna sit there catching flies, or are gonna go to a dance?"

"Uh... D-dance" I stammered.

"Wait! What about Lloyd? Isn't he supposed to be here?" Seliel asked after noticing Lloyd was not in the room with us. "Didn't you say he was supposed to be here at five?"

"Yeah, I guess he had a change of plans" Kai shrugged.

"Do those plans start with the letter 'T' and end in 'rini'?" Nya asked, putting mine and her tickets into a little hand bag, along with some money and phone.

"Come on guys, give her a break, I'm sure there's a reason for her doing what she did" Pixal said, linking her arm with Zane. He smiled down at her.

"Yeah, she seamed really sincere and upset when she revealed her true identity and betrayed us" Zane stated.

"I hope so" Nya said.

"Anyway, enough with the depressing stuff, can we please go to the dance now?" Cole begged from over by the front door "Dances mean food, and food means cake!"

We gave each other knowing looks and exited Kai and Nya's flat.

~~~Time Skip~~~

We climbed out of the shiny black limo and walked towards the school.

"Tell me again why we had to rent a limo?" Seliel sighed. "Couldn't we just have walked? It was only 10 minutes away"

"High School Dances are the only chance you gonna get to go by style and ride in a limo" I said, looking back at our ride as it made its way out of the school parking lot.

"What use is style when no one is around to see you arrive in it?" Kai grumbled.

Coles head suddenly darted up catching all are attention.

"Whats wrong Cole?" Zane asked. He sniffed the air before a massive smile broadened on his face.

"Oh no..." Seliel whisperd.

"I.... smell..... CAKE!!!!!" He said, getting more excited with each word. He darted off inside the school leaving all us behind.

"I swear he can smell like an animal" Seliel sighed before sprinting to catch up with Cole who had already disappeared inside the building. "COLE GET YOUR BUTT BACK HERE" I heard her yell before also disappearing into the high school.

"Well that was-"

"Weird, crazy, unexpected? Take your pick" Kai cut me off.

"I was gonna say strange, but any of them works to" I shrugged.

We carried on walking towards the entrance where we found a teacher checking our tickets before letting us into the dance. Me and Nya went first and soon we were whisked into the gym. I couldn't recognise the place. Multicoloured streamers hung from the ceiling as well as a massive disco ball, reflecting any light that touches it. The walls were covered in our school banners and the bleachers were pushed up against the wall while tiny bits of confetti fell from the roof, littered the floor. The whole year must have shown up because the hall was jam packed with dancing bodies and the odd teacher, supervising the dance.

"Woah...." Me and Nya said at the same time. The others had scampered off on their own, which left just me and Nya alone.

"Hey, you wanna dance?" I asked Nya shyly, offering my hand. She giggled, before accepting it and leading me into the dance floor.

The music was an upbeat tune. I casually looked around for ideas on how to dance to this style of music, but nothing sprung to mind. Nya saw me struggling and took my hands and looked deep into my eyes.

"You just gotta feel the music, Jay" She said, demonstrating this fact with a few cliché dance moves, but effortlessly making them look cool. I took a deep breath and felt the beats and rhythm of the music start to move my body.

Annoyingly, I had just started to get the hang of dancing when the song suddenly changed to a much slower number.

I saw Nya blush as everyone who had partners got closer and started to slow dance around the hall.

"I-I think that's enough dancing for now" Nya said, turning around to walk away. I caught her wrist and dragged her back into the middle of the dance floor.

"Not yet" I whispered placing my hand on her waist and bringing her body closer to mine. Nya blushed a dark crimson before gently placing her hand on my shoulder.

"You look really beautiful" I said, looking into her ocean blue eyes. I can't imagine my life without her.

"And you look really handsome" She whispered back, as we both swayed to the sound of the music.

"Nya?" I asked, determined to get my next words out.

"Yeah Jay?" She replied looking up at me.

"I..... I love you" I whispered. Nya looked surprised for a moment before a smile spread across her face and her eyes began to water a bit.

"I love you too Jay" She said before closing the gap between us and planting a soft kiss on my lips. I closed my eyes and melted into the kiss. Butterflies flew from my stomachs as Nya hung her hands loosely around my neck. Both my hands were on the small of her back. Nya slowly brought her hands round my neck until they where on either side of my cheeks. Seconds later we pulled apart and I rested my forehead on her and gave a deep heartfelt sigh. Nya's hands were still on my cheeks as she slowly traced the shape of my lips, gently humming to herself.

"I love you" She said opening her eyes.

"I love you too" I said back.

After a few minutes of more slow dancing, me and Jay made our way over to the food and drinks.

"Hey look, There's Cole" I said pointing to a very sad looking Cole, who was sat on a very lonely looking bench.

"Yeah but..... where Seliel?" Nya asked worriedly, looking around the crowded dance floor. I also scanned the room until spotting her, also on a lonely bench on the other side of the gym.

"Why aren't they sitting together?" I asked. Nya sighed.

"I don't know, you go speak to Cole and I'll go speak to Seliel" Nya said, giving me a quick peck on the cheek and walking towards her lonely friend. But before she could, I snagged her hand and pulled her back so her body was pressed up to mine.

"Okay, But first..." I said, leaning down and kissing her square on the lips. She was startled at first, but quickly kissed me back.

After parting, I made my way over to Cole. His face buried in his hands.

"Hey Cole, you alright?" I asked sitting down next to him.

"I ruined it Jay" He said, his voice muffled from his head being buried in his hands.

"What do you mean?" I asked

"This stupid cake addiction" He sighed.

"What happened?" I asked, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"I was too busy eating cake to pay attention to Seliel. Now she hates me" He sighed again, his face just peaking out from under his hands, his gaze directly locked on Seliel.

"Cole you can't give up like that! Where's the Master Of Earth? He's strong and would be able to get over this, so get your butt over there-" I pointed to where Nya and Seliel was "-and go make it up to her. Sweep her off her feet!"

"Metaphorically or legitimately?" He asked, his face now fully emerged from his hands.

"Both" I smirked "Now, GO GET YOUR LOVE OF YOUR PUNY LIFE!"

"Puny? That's a bit harsh don't you think?"

"Nope, now MOVE IT!!" I shouted, pushing him towards Seliel. Once we'd dodged our way through the dancing bodies, Nya came to me and I gave Cole one last shove towards Seliel before waiting on the sidelines with Nya.

"Maybe we should give them some privacy?" Nya said, taking my hand and pulling me back into the dance floor.

"Good idea"

The music was a happy upbeat tune, so me and Nya danced accordingly.

Unfortunately the happy scene was brought to a sudden end when we heard the sound of chanting from our fellow class mates. They were chanting the words 'fight, fight, fight' over and over again. I looked at Nya and shrugged before we made our way over to where the hubbub was coming from. I mean, come on! Who doesn't love a good high school fight?

But the sight before was not what I was expecting. Kai and Morro were rolling around on the floor throwing nasty punches and kick at each other whenever opportunity arose. Kai had really bad nose bleed and a trail of blood made it's way out of his mouth. Morro was another story. He had a really bad broken nose and a swollen black eye. A panicked looking Skylor watched helplessly from the side lines.

"Jay, grab Kai, I've got Morro!" Cole shouted before lunging into the fight and started to pull apart the fighting two.

"Got it" I say and snatch Kai's shoulders, trying to avoid his brutal punches. I tried to grab his fists and stop him, but he was unfortunately stronger than me. "He's too strong!" I groan.

"Get off me Jay!" Kai shouted. "This Jerk is gonna pay!"

"Let me help" A familiar voice says from behind me. I turn and see Lloyd standing in a black tuxedo with a vibrant green tie.

With help from Lloyd, I was able to pull a bloodied Kai away from the enraged Morro.

"Where've you been?" I asked him as we continued to drag Kai out towards the back exit.

"Let me go! I have to teach that idiot a lesson" Kai growled and relentlessly tried to brake free of mine and Lloyd grasp.

"Finding the truth" Lloyd said answering my question whilst ignoring Kai's aggressive request to let him go. We used our backs to push open the doors and yanked Kai through them.

"Care to elaborate?" I asked.

"I'll tell you when everyone else is here" He answered, sighing as we dumped Kai's body on the steps and sat either side of him. Kai groaned and angrily stared off into the dark night sky.

"So...... Are you gonna explain why you were fighting with Morro?" I asked. Kai turned his glare towards me. "Never mind"

The doors suddenly swung open, making a loud banging noise as they collided with the wall.

"KAI SMITH! What in God's name persuaded you to beat up Morro!?" Someone shouted from behind us. I, along with Lloyd, turned around to face a steaming Nya.

"Uh oh...." I heard Kai whisper under his breath.

"Good luck bro" Lloyd said, taking the hint that Nya wanted to be alone with her brother. I followed Lloyd to the door.

"Try not to kill him" I said as I passed Nya. Her fists were clenched and you could practically see the anger steaming off her.

"No promises" I heard her growl under her breath.

Me and Lloyd shut the doors behind us. We have each other guilty looks then immediately pressed our ears to the door to hear what the siblings were talking about.

I got bored after a while from not hearing anything and left, pulling an annoyed Lloyd behind me.

~~~Time Skip~~~

After Nya emerged from the sibling chat, she seamed to have calmed down a lot.

"Hey, how's Kai?" I asked, putting an arm around her shoulder.

"He's Fine, Skylor's talking with him now" She said leaning her head on my shoulder.

"How are you?" I asked, kissing the top of her head.

"I feel like I've ruined your night with this drama." She sighed.

"Hey, a couple of weeks ago I found out that I had elemental powers and that we're destined to destroy The Over Lord, who just happens to be my best friend father" I said softly "Drama is second nature"

She smiled at my response. I was about to ask her something, but something interrupted me.

"Would everyone please make there way to the main hall, it's time to announce who's the King and Queen of tonight dance!" A loud voice coming from the school speakers shouted.

"Shall we m'lady?" I said in a posh English accent.

"We shall!" Nya giggled, linking my arm with hers, as we walked down the corridor and into the gym.

We stood near the back, along with Zane and Pixal and Cole and Seliel, who seamed to have fixed things between them, and awaited to know who won King and Queen. Sensi Wu took the stage and opened a light blue envelope.

"NHS's King and Queen is....."

Sensi Wu was about to about to announce the winner when a loud scream caught the whole gym's attention.

"THE OVER LORD!!"

A loud explosion sounded from outside as the entire school body started to panic and run out of the school.

Me, Nya, Seliel, Skylor, Zane, Cole, Kai and Pixal all gave each other knowing looks. Then glanced to Sensi who was looking at us and nodding.

"The final battle has begun...."

Okay, so I know I said I was gonna go over the last chapters, but I as soon as I started to re-write the previous chapter, I just had sooooo many ideas about this chapter, and I didn't want to risk forgetting those ideas by not writing them instantly. So I'm gonna wait in till I finish this book to re-write some chapters.

I think this was okay, I maybe should of added a bit more Jaya.

So, I really can't decide who should be the King and Queen. So, to make this interesting I'm gonna leave it up to you. In the comments, please say who you think should be King and Queen. It can be either:

~Pixal and Zane
~Skylor and Kai/ Morro (But FYI, if any of you put Morro I'm actually gonna cry #Kailor4Life)
~Jay and Nya
