Cole's POV

I slowly opened my eyes and looked around, I see four walls, and the floor, and my bed. I sighed with relief that I was back home snuggled in my warm bed. Rolling over I checked the time on my black alarm clock. The time read 5 in the morning.

Yes! I still have two hours of sleeping before school! I thought and rolled over to fall back to sleep. Wait, I'm sure I needed to be somewhere today at six? Oh yeah! I have training.

I hopped out of bed and and ran into my bathroom. I took a quick shower and through on my work out gear. (~~##~~) I also grabbed my headphones and started to play my tunes.

"See ya Dad!" I shouted up to my farther and exited the house via the front door.

"Have a good day at school son!" My father shouted back.

Yeah, school, definitely not skipping it to go train to be a ninja. I thought.

I looked up at the sky. It was still dark, though there were stars that dotted the darkness. About half way down to the school I bumped into Seliel who was also going to train with Sensi Wu. She was wearing (~~##~~)

"Hey!" She beamed.

"Sup" I replied, giving her a sideways grin.

"What do you think we're gonong to learn to do today?" She asked, linking her arm in mine.

"I'm not sure. I just hope it'll be fun" I answered, "what do you think?"

"I know know either, but I hope we're learning how to kick some butt!" She said, demonstrating that fact by punching and kicking the air in front of her.

I chuckled at her over dramatic hopes and continued down the road, heading further into Ninjago City. We arrived later than I expected, but still with 10 minuets to warm up and stretch.

Nya, Kai, Zane, Pixal and Lloyd we're already there on the football field. Nya and Pixal where doing stretches, though I over heard Pixal asking Nya why she should do this because she's a robot.

Nya was wearing-(~~##~~)

Seliel kissed my cheek and walked over to the two girls. I smiled to myself and walked over to Lloyd, Zane and Kai. (~~##~~)

My face adopted an annoyed frown when I saw Kai and Lloyd mocking me and making loud kissing noises.

"Awwww, how cute!" Lloyd swooned.

"The perfect match!" Kai laughed.

"Shut up!" I glared at them "Kai you can't talk, you haven't even had the courage to ask Skylor to the dance, at least Lloyd could do that, but she ended up betraying your trust and breaking your heart!"

They both huffed and grumbled some sort of apology.

A few minutes Skylor arrived, with Jay arriving a few minutes later. (~~##~~)

"Hey guys, it's 06:07, where's Sensi?" Pixal asked once we had all warmed up and stretched, despite both her and Zane insisting they didn't need to because there robots.

"I don't know, maybe he's late?" Kai suggested.

"Hah! You clearly don't know Sensi Wu, he's never late!" Jay laughed.

"Correct Master Of Lightning, I've been watching you from the school building" A voice said from behind them. The nine teenagers turned around a saw Sensi Wu walking towards them.

"That's kinda creepy don't cha think?" Seliel whispered in my ear. I chuckled to myself before I heard a whoosh of air  and felt something whack the top of my head. I turned around to see Sensi holding his bō staff and frowning at me.

"Care to tell everyone why you were laughing, Master of Earth?" Sensi said.

"WOW! How did you move so fast Sensi?" Jay gasped.

"I'm waiting for an answer, Master Of Earth" Sensi ignored Jays question and continued to look at me.

"Ummmm..... Nothing" I hesitantly answered. I saw out the corner of my eye that Seliel trying to contain her laugher. That was until Sensi whacked her on top of her head as well.

"Ow!" She complained.

"You both clearly lack the respect to start your training, five laps of the field, GO!" He said.

I groaned really loudly.

"Make that ten laps" He said walking around the group to the front again.

"Heh heh, Whoops?" I said, which earned a evil l glare from Seliel.

We both took off jogging around the sports field.

~~~Time Skip~~~

Finally, last lap of the field.

Surprisingly, I wasn't tired, at all. That was weird because normally I would be tired finishing the fifth lap, but I've still got so much energy.

As me and Seliel came round the last corner, and into the straight away, she gave me a competitive look. I knew exactly what she was thinking.

"3...2...1, Go!" She shouted and took off sprinting down the straight away.

"Hey, no fair! You got a head start!" I shouted after her and picked up my pace. I charged after her, bearly catching her up when she crossed the finish line.

"I won!" She cheered. I stuck my tongue out at her which she giggled at.

"Hey guys! Come check this out!" Nya called us over.

"What's up?" Seliel asked.

"Sensi has been teaching us how to do Spinjitzu!" Jay said happily. "Check this out! NINJA- GO!"

Jay spun, and seconds later cracks of lightning formed around him, creating a mini tornado. A few more seconds later, he stopped spinning and fell face first on the ground.

"Ow" He said simply.

"Yeah, were still learning how to keep them formed for more than a few seconds" Nya said, offering her hand to help Jay up.

Me and Seliel wandered over to see what Zane and Pixal were doing.

"Huh, how come they get to sit in the ground and do nothing?" I whispered to Seliel. She was about to answer but Zane cut her off.

"We're not just sitting here, we're meditating, calming and clearing our minds"

"Oh right" I chuckled nervously.

"And we need as much peace and quite as possible." Pixal added.

Me and Seliel caught her hint and headed over to Kai, Skylor and Lloyd.

"Hey guys, what you up to?" Seliel asked.

"Where learning how to kick butt!" Lloyd said whilst punching the air in front of him.

"Yeah, hey Lloyd, you wanna go one on one?" I asked.

"Okay" he shrugged.

Seliel, Skylor and Kai day down on the grass began to take bets.

Me and Lloyd started to circle each other, both my fists raised to protect my face.

Lloyd charged at me and swung a fierce punch in the direction of my face. I ducked and rolled out the way. Standing up, I caught Lloyd making another charge towards me, but instead of rolling out the way, I ducked and swung my leg round, knocking his legs out from under him. He fell to the ground and rolled out the way of my kick. We both stood up and circled each other again. This time I ran at him and through a hard punch to his stomach, but out of nowhere, his foot collided with my gut, sending me flying a few meters away. I rolley pollyed put the way of Lloyd slamming his elbows into my abdomen. We started to circle again.

"Hey Lloyd, you know what your mistake was?" I asked, trying to mess with him.

"What would that be Cole?" He glared at me.

"You messed with the Master Of Earth!" I shouted and slammed my fists on the ground, causing a mini earthquake, big enough to knock him off his feet to the ground. I ran to him and hovered my foot against his neck.

"I win" I said to him whilst removing my foot and offering my hand to help him up. He took it and stood up.

"Fine, whatever, but il get you next time" He said, rolling his eyes.

We walked over to the others. I guess they all got interested in our fight because they all had stopped doing there individual tasks and came to spectate, and bet.

"Dam it Lloyd! I had high hopes for you!" Jay complained and handed Nya a five pound note.

"Hah hah! Two pounds please Pixal!" Seliel said opening her hand and waiting for her money.

"You are still very rusty, Master Of Earth and Energy" Sensi said, appearing from behind them.

"When did you get there?" Kai asked after jumping out of his skin with shock.

"Stealth is a important quality to be a Ninja, Master Of Fire" He answered. "Now please return to practicing your set tasks, Master Of Earth and Phantom please follow me."

Me and Seliel looked at each other before getting up and following the old man.

"Your task is simple" He said once we were ten meters away from the others, "You will be practising controlling your elemental powers on each other, understood?"

Me and Seliel looked at each other again and nodded before looking back at Sensi. But just like before, he had disappeared.

"I wish he'd stop doing that!" Seliel groaned.

"Me too" I agreed "You ready to practise?"

"Let's do it!" She answered confidently.

All morning and afternoon we spent together, controlling our powers, and finally we had the hang of it. Likewise, Nya and Jay are now able to do Spinjitzu for as long as they like, and are able to stop it controllably. Pixal and Zane have been meditating all day, so I don't really know what they've achieved, maybe inner piece or something? Kai, Skylor and Lloyd have been training none stop and have became really good at the fighting side of being a Ninja, even Sensi would appear and complement them of there achievements.

We all meeting again tomorrow, same time same place, me and Seliel are going to be meditating all day, yay? Zane and Pixal are going to be learning to fight and Kai, Skylor and Lloyd are learning Spinjitzu. Which leaves Jay and Nya learning how to control there powers.

All I know is that we're one step closer to defeating the Over Lord.
