Aphmau POV

As I am walking towards the lab, all of the squids wave at me. I wave back. As soon as I walk passed an abandoned hall in the castle, somebody grabs my wrist and drags me into the darkness. The mask covers my mouth so they couldn't stop me from making any sound.

"Who are you?" I ask, trying to get out of their grip.

"It's me, Green. Don't you remember me?" I turn to see a person in a green dinosaur hoodie. The hoodie seems calmingly familiar but I just don't know.

"How did you get in here? I'm the only human down here." I ask, confused. His eyes sadden a little bit.

"They held me here as a prisoner. They even made it so that my family thought I ran away." He says, making me gasp.

"B-but my brother would never do that. He has never harmed a human." I stutter. He just shakes his head.

"He's using you. Come with me and I can prove it." He tells me. I look at his eyes to see that he isn't lying. He is telling the truth. I look back down the hall before turning to him and nodding. He smiles before grabbing my wrist and swimming out of the open window. Since the window faces outside the kingdom, nobody sees us swimming up to the service. I gasp at the beautiful sunset. We both swim until we reach an island. We both throw off our masks.

"So are you going to explain what's going on?" I ask. He nods.

"The squids have had me captive for years. They took me away from my family. They think I ran away. We need to get to my family and contact the Sky Army." He says. I gasp.

"But the Sky Army is evil! They tried to make the squids extinct." I say, moving away from him. He sighs before looking at me with pleading eyes.

"What have they done to you Jess?" He asks. I give him a confused look.

"What are you talking about? How do you know my name?" I ask. He sighs.

"You are a member of the Sky Army. One of the leaders actually. I think the squids have brainwashed you. We need to get to the Sky Army base." He says. I nod before grabbing his wrist and teleporting to my checkpoint called 'Sky Base'. I don't know why it's here but it is. Green grabs my arm before dragging me into the base. I hide behind his back, scared. "Hello? Anybody here?" He shouts. Suddenly, there are people running at us.

"Who's the- Green?" A person with a red dinosaur onesie says. He runs up to us.

"That's me. I also have Jess with me." He says, trying to move out of the way but I just jump back behind him, holding the back of his shirt.

"Jess!" The red guy goes to run up to me, making me scream. Green stops him.

"Stop. Stay a distance away. Where are the leaders?" Green asks. He turns around and hugs me to his chest. This is when I realise I am crying out of fear.

"T-they are in the main room. Here. Let me show you." The girl with a pink onesie says, walking through a door. Green follows, still holding me. He picked me up at some point and put me on his back.

"Green? Jess? Oh my Irene how did you escape Jess? And why is Green here!" A person with two eye patches says. I recognise him as the leader of the Sky Army, Sky. I hide my head in Greens back.

"They aren't going to hurt us. It's okay. We are going to help you get your memories back Jess." Green says. I just nod in his back.

"They have already brainwashed her. This is bad!" The guy with a purple hoodie, Jin, panics.

"I heard Jess was back." A person with white hair walks in, walking up to me. This seems to trigger something.

"The machine is finished!" Travis says, sitting down on his chair. I sit down with him, sighing in relief. We were making a machine to help me sort my memories out if they were ever changed.

"I can't believe we actually did it." I cheer. He smiles at me, happy.

"We are not alone buddies after all all." He smirks at me.

"Travis!" I run over and jump on him, hugging him. He doesn't hug me straight away from shock but he slowly wraps his arms around me, patting my back.

"What's going on?" He asks.

"The squids have already brainwashed her. She is scared of all of us." The red headed guy says. I think his name was Max.

"I guess this is a good time to pull out a project me and Jess were working on. We need to go to Mitch and Jerome's house." He says before teleporting us onto a person.

"Ouch." He mumbles, shoving us off. I think that's Mitch. Soon, everybody teleports to him. Travis leads us outside, going into a shed. I look in my storage and take out a lever, giving it to him. He places it on the wall and pulls it, showing a trap door opening with ladders. We all climb down them, everybody looking around in shock while me and Travis walk up to a familiar machine. He grabs a helmet and places it on my head, letting me clip it on myself.

"What does that machine do?" A talking squirrel asks. Travis turns it on, making me slowly close my eyes as new memories come into my head, letting me watch the battle between the fake and real memories. The only question is, which is real and which is fake.
