8: Music Box
*Natalie' pov*
I sat looking at Egon's homemade bandage. They wouldn't last long. I got to talk to him! I got to hug him! It made me happy knowing I could do that at least one more time. That's all I really wanted if I was going to be killed.
"Did you enjoy you're little chat with your brother?" Ligen asked me. I looked up to see him glaring at me.
"I did," I answered honestly. He reached into the cage, glaring at me.
"You think I would let you just talk to him? You're not here to be happy Natalie Spengler! I brought you here to make sure I could avenge everything you've ever done to me. I'll make you pay Dr. Spengler."
"What-what are you going t-to do?" I asked, afraid of what it was. He smiled and placed a claw on my hand. I felt my body go lame. I was couldn't move at all. He pulled that trick on me again. I couldn't fight him and he could do whatever he wanted. He carried me to the door and opened it. He was taking me outside.
I watched the purple light move when a demon passed it. They glared at me and tried to attack me. Ligen just brushed them off before they did anything to me. I guess that was his job. We passed a dark dome that matched what Egon told me Ligen trapped him in. I saw a few of them, but I didn't know what they were. He stopped in front of them.
"This is what I'm going to do," Ligen answered my question. He threw my body in the dark matter. I couldn't see anything, not one thing. It felt like my eyes were shut and I couldn't open them. Then I fell asleep, right in the dark.

"Natalie!" I heard someone cry. I was reliving a memory since I was in a bed. I didn't know where I was, but I heard Egon's voice when we were about six. Might also pin point that I felt a cast on my arm where Egon broke it. The bed I was in was moving up and down like Egon was jumping on it.
"What?" I asked sleepily.
"I want to show you something," he said exited.
"Sleep Egon," I said looking at the time. It was five in the morning.
"I won't bother you for a week," he bribed me with. I sat up in bed looking at him.
"Deal!" I said crawling out of bed. He lead me down the hall to his room. Our rooms weren't too far apart, but still a good distance. He dragged me into his room and I saw a few things set up. I thought he was going to show me a science project he was working on, but instead he lead me to the back of his room. In the corner he had a small package that was a light green. It was a small box like thing it appeared. He handed it to me.
"I got you something," he told me smiling. I looked at it.
"You got me a gift?" I asked holding it with my one arm.
"I felt bad about doing that to you," he said pointing to my arm. "I didn't mean to do it. I'm sorry."
"I already said I forgive you. You didn't have to buy this."
"I didn't. I made it. Open it Natalie!"
I smiled and placed the box on table it was sitting on. I pulled the paper open with my hands, barely using my left one. When I was done I was looking at a wooden box that had my name painted on it in green paint. Patterns of things like stars and pictures of things I liked were on it in careful drawings. It was beautiful. I looked up at Egon and he opened it. The inside was laced with dark blue fabric and music played. A small ballerina was spinning around on it. It was a music box. On the inside you could see a small message on it. To my twin sister Natalie. I hope you can always forgive me. From Egon.
"Egon, it's beautiful," I sighed looking at it.
"Thank you," he told me beaming. He was proud of his work, but he should be. It was the best gift I have ever gotten, even now.
"No, I should say thank you," I told him hugging him. He hugged back and he took the box so I didn't drop it. I told him where I wanted it to go, and he sat it down. I thanked him again and he left again. I sat down and listened to the song for a while.
The next scene I was in I was looking for something. It was right before I was going to leave for college. I knew I was looking for the music box Egon made me. I kept it all these years, always keeping a piece of Egon with me. I couldn't find it anywhere.
"Mom!" I called out to her.
"Yes Natalie?" she asked back.
"Do you know where the music box Egon made me is? I can't find it anywhere!"
"The one with your name on it?" she asked looking in my room.
"Yeah."
"Oh sweetie, I thought you didn't like that one. I gave it to the charity. I'm sorry."
"What? That was the one Egon made me. I loved that music box."
"I'm sure Egon will make you another one if you ask him. I'm so sorry sweetie. I wish I knew, then I wouldn't have given it away."
She walked away, not seeing how upset I was. I didn't want Egon to make me another one. I wanted the one he made me when I was six. I sighed and finished packing and looked at it. I wished that I could have it back. I asked him after that day, but he was so busy he never got around to it. I was still out of one of my brother's music boxes. I sighed and wished I could wipe the tears out of my eyes has the memory played over and over again. I didn't like to relive that heart break moment.
Hurry up Egon, I thought. I want to go home.
Anyone else hate when all the people you are talking to mess you up and then you send most of them the wrong message? I do! Whoops. This is why I shouldn't talk to more then one person at a time! xD That's all I have, besides I have a role in the play! I'm Nina, the person who is a suspect of killing the person! Haha, I can't wait for it! Peace out my Stars!
