For like, the hundredth time, I woke up from a coma thingy in a room. There were curtains on 2 walls, and Quartz on the wall behind me and the one to my right. I was on a bed, and next to me to the left was a chest.

"HEY!"

I jolted and looked in front of me. The curtains parted and I saw Gordon's grinning face.

"ITS ALIVE!" He screamed behind him.

Abby ran in, followed by Infinity. Another person was there, who I guessed was a nurse.

"Hey gurl!" Abby said. I could tell that she wanted to hug me.

"How're you feeling?" Infinity asked.

"That's my job." The nurse said, in kind of a bratty way. "How are you feeling, Kat?"

"Fight me!" Infinity jutted her head towards the nurse, who shrank away.

I tried to speak, but nothing came out. Oh no. I can't not do my favorite thing, talking.

I cleared my throat. "Good." I croaked in a scratchy voice.

Gordon looked really glum. "I'm really sorry Kat. I don't know what happened. The water was there to soak up the tnt damage one second, and the next, poof! Gone. It was strange."

"A lot of strange things happen to me." It hurt to talk, but I didn't stop. "It wasn't your fault."

"Another strange thing was that you shouldn't be alive." Infinity said.

"Well then." I grumbled.

"She's right, Kat." Abby defended. "You shouldn't have survived that blast. The guy that was the second nearest to the tnt is right next to you."

She pulled the curtain to the left to reveal a guy that was almost in a full body cast. He waved, wincing, and she shut the curtain again.

I looked at myself. All I had was a wrap around my head.

"How long was I out?" I asked. De ja vu moment to the village.

"Only a day." Gordon answered. "But it was troubling. You looked almost..."

"Dead." Infinity said nonchalantly.

"Where's Jake?" I blurted out.

"He had some business to do." Abby said. "But if he knew you were awake, he'd be here."

All of a sudden, a crash was heard from beyond the curtain. Infinity looked out, and grinned. "We gotta stop doing this telepathic thing with presenting each other at the right time."

She opened the curtain wider, and Jake ran inside, tripping. He must've fallen over some wraps, because he looked part mummified.

"Hey." He said, poker faced while taking the stuff off.

"Sup mummy." I tried to get up, but my whole body felt sore.

"No. Bad Kat. Lay down." Gordon scolded me.

I groaned. "But I'm going to be sooooooooooooooooo bored."

"It's best to do what's good for your health." Jake said, tossing off a bandage. "You shouldn't have survived that anyways."

"I heard." I sighed. "But whatever. Is there anything I can do while I'm in here?"

"I can read you a bedtime story." Gordon suggested.

"Pass." I responded quickly. "Knowing you, it would end in an explosion."

"But that's how the best stories end!"

We talked for a bit longer. Finally, everyone had to go. Except Infinity. She stayed behind and sat on a chair.

"So is there tension between you and Jake?" I asked her.

She shrugged. "Just hard to adapt to a new family. Especially since you can't really spend a lot of time with them when you are head of a camp."

"How did he become head?"

"I don't know. He just made it, and people started moving in. It took a while to get here, but we have hard working people."

I had a feeling that she wasn't telling me everything, but I stayed quiet.

After a few moments of silence passed, I spoke again. "Can you please tell me about Notch?"

She looked surprised. "N-Notch?"

"Yes. Where is he now?"

"Oh, I expected you to want me to tell you about his whole story."

"I just want to know where he is now."

"Well." She looked at a loss for words, which seemed kind of surprising. "No one knows. He just... disappeared. 16 years ago, he left us without a trace or a reason why."

"Was he like one of you? I mean-"

"Did he play a part in our society?"

"Yeah."

"I wasn't really alive then, but I heard, yes. He was like one of us, one of the people living in Notch City. He was a regular person."

"What was he like?" I asked.

She laughed. "Here we go with a lot of questions. Well he was brilliant. He was good with redstone, building, farming, anything. You name it. Except for one thing..."

"Fighting."

"Yeah. How did you know?"

How did I know? "I have no idea. It just seemed like it would fit."

She nodded. "Well, you are correct. See, Notch is a pacifist. He always hated the thought of fighting. Sad thing, really. Fighting is awesome. So he kept the fighting to..."

"Herobrine."

She gasped. "Girl! Don't do that!"

"Say his name?" I tilted my head.

"You are crazy." She shook her head slowly. "How do you know about him?"

"All I know is that he is the enemy of this war." I remember when Charlie told me that.

"He is. Very dangerous."

I wondered what he was doing now...

"I am upset." I said, quietly.

Which wasn't true. I wasn't upset. I was angry.

My grip on the nether brick fence tightened. I stared at my army, training. Hundreds of thousands of mobs below me. All working for me. I would've thought that I would be happy, and hopeful for my army, but no.

She found the base. She is now one of them. Worst of all, it's Jake and Infinity's base. This isn't good. Not good at all.

I turned around, as I felt something, or someone, behind me. Sure enough, my blaze servant was there.

"What is it?" I sighed.

"My Lord, the skeletons and zombies are ready. Lieutenant Zombie is unable to attend, however."

"Very well."

"I will make sure that they leave as soon as possible." The blaze was about to leave.

"Wait."

He turned around.

"Not yet. Do not send them out yet." I turned towards my army again. "I shall give the base a fighting chance. No doubt they will train her, but I am curious to see what they shall do. But I will give them a message."

He looked and saw the blaze still there. "You are dismissed."

The blaze bowed his head and left.

"My army." I said quietly and calmly. "Our time is almost here."

I have no idea what I was thinking when I wrote this. Idk if it's good or not.

I'm starting to draw the characters, so the next few chapters are probably going to have picture of the characters made by me.
