~3rd Person PoV~

"Captain Sparklez?"

A guy in the stands stood up. He had black hair, with a black beard, and red sunglasses. He wore a black jacket, white shirt, and black jeans. He walked to the side and down the stairs. He then stood about 15 blocks on front of the council.

"Ye?" He asked.

SkyDoesMinecraft, aka Adam, sat tall in his chair. He cleared his throat.

"Are you aware that Dan, also known as DanTDM, is not here?"

CaptainSparklez, aka Jordan, glanced at Dan's empty seat between Ssundee and Ty. "Yes..."

"Do you know why?"

Jordan swallowed. "He was called to the labs to assist Dr. Trayaurus, since everyone else was afraid to."

"Indeed." Sky nodded. He was about to open his mouth, when Preston snickered. The lava mob held his hand over his mouth so he wouldn't laugh.

"What?" Sky asked sharply.

"Dude." Rob/Woofless shook his head, grinning. "Why you so serious?"

Sky frowned. Then, he sighed, and turned to Jordan. "So, we need a replacement for Dan's place."

Jordan's eyes widen. "Seriously?"

"Yep." Ty said.

"Ooh! Ooh!" Jerome waved his hand, frantically. "Can I do it?!"

"Why not." Sky rubbed his head.

"Okay okay." Jerome grinned at Jordan. "You are about to be a temporary part of the Council of Notch City, and the Council of Minecraft, pretty much."

"Okayyyy..." Jordan said.

"Will you always put the needs of the world before your own?"

"Yes." Jordan swallowed again.

"Will you promise to serve your people in a kindly manner, and always do your best?"

"Yes."

"Will you promise not to cheat in games?" Mitch asked.

"I was gonna say that!" Jerome pouted. Mitch pat his head.

"No promises." Jordan smirked. "I mean, sure. Yes. I do."

"Note that if you betray the council in any way, then you will be exiled." Ian said seriously.

"Okay." Jordan said.

"By the power of Notch, and the Council, and Minecraft," Sky said. "You are now a part of the main council. Please take your seat."

The people in the stands started clapping. The applause was everywhere in the room.

"Sweet." Jordan grinned. He walked up behind the council and climbed the stairs. He sat down in Dan's seat, looking just a bit awkward.

"Things are changing." Ty nodded.

Sky sighed. "For the better or worse, I don't know yet."

~Kat's Point Of View~

I didn't tell the others about Mastermind. I was curious about him, but I kept him to myself. I didn't want to cause any drama or anything. Drama is the last thing we need, really.

Anywho, it was midday, and we kept walking. Skye said that we would arrive at the bridge soon, and that it was quite a site.

"It's hard not to miss, let's just say." Jon said.

"Yep." Jake said, wanting to get a word into the subject. He seemed a bit jealous of not being the one with all the answers. Thinking of that almost made me laugh.

"What?" Jake asked me.

Crap. I was caught smiling weirdly. I decided to lie. "Just happy that I'm finally here."

Skye laughed. Then, his look turned curious. "So how did you find each other?"

I realized that even Infinity, Gordon, and Abby didn't know my story. I had only told Jake, with Guard Joe in the room. I spent a while explaining that I washed up on the shore (not saying I was underwater), built a lame house (which Abby snickered at), and found the village. I also left the part out where I fell down the hole, because that felt a bit embarrassing. I explained the village, then the mining expedition (Jon was impressed), and returning to the village to find it under attack.

"Gasp." Infinity gasped dramatically.

"And I saved a dude, and we confronted the priest."

"Bob the Fourth." Abby nodded. "Go on."

"His eyes were purple, not like mine, but he didn't seem like he was possessed. Just had too much power for one big-nosed man. So then he sent a giant black wisp towards Charlie and... and I ran in the way and got hit."

"Did you die?!" Gordon said like a little kid.

"That would be expected." Skye nodded. "Saving your friend."

"What isn't expected is how the priest got dark magic...." Jon muttered to himself.

I then talked about leaving, didn't say anything about the igloo, and then the wall. I met Jake, and then he gave me a small tour. We went to breakfast.

"This is my favorite part." Gordon whispered.

I rolled my eyes. Everyone met, and then I talked about the rest of the time there. The battle happened, I killed things, and it ended.

"He tried to take you away." Skye noted.

Nodding, I completed the story. We went on our quest, and met with creepers.

"I got knocked out!" Gordon said proudly.

Jake finished the rest since I needed to breathe. He explained how we got away, the temple, Gabriel, and the train and train ride to Notch City. It was much faster and easy for him to explain.

"And now here we are." He finished.

"Quite a story." Skye said.

Jon nodded. "And just in time." He pointed ahead.

"I'm closing my eyes so I can't see it yet." I closed my eyes. "Lead me."

"Come on." A voice said, Abby, and she grabbed my hand. We ran forward.

Finally, she said. "Woah...."

"May I look?" I asked, keeping my hand over my eyes.

"Yep." She let go of my other one.

I dropped my hand, and gasped. We were at the railing to the left of a giant bridge. The railing was just stone slabs on iron bars. The bridge was made of a beautiful Quartz and stone pattern, with stairs and glowstone mixed in. The bridge stretched maybe 300 blocks, 50 blocks wide. I tried to not look at the other side, for I wanted to see it when I get there. But way down below, about 500 blocks, was water, surrounding the inner city. The city was just a giant island lifted above the ground, with steep cliffs.

"This is amazing." I was pretty much mesmerized. The water below was a bluish green, looking beautiful and bright.

"Yeah it is." Jake breathed next to me.

"I know right." Skye leaned on the railing, Jon doing the same beside him. "Never gets old, right Jon?"

Jon nodded.

"Careful Gabriel." Infinity warned Gabriel, who was trying to get on the railing. Infinity picked him up and let him see over, holding him tight. Gabriel barked happily.

"This is awesome!" Abby said. She ran to the bridge and knelt on the ground. She ran her hands over the design. "So complex."

For a little bit, we admired the view and chatted. Then, we started to cross the bridge. There were a lot of people on it, walking across or chilling on the side. Two rail tracks were in the middle, going in and out of the inner city.

When we got to the other side, I admired the inner city.

It was all random blocks. Literally. The buildings were ginormous, but they all had something different about them. Size, shape, theme. No building looked alike. The street was Quartz, and there was no rails. Just people walking. And there were people, but less than before.

"Most shops and restaurants are in the outer city." Skye informed. "This is mostly for training, the main City Hall, and houses of the important."

"This place." Abby shook her head. "Is amazing."

"I still like the outer city." Jake shrugged. "Brighter."

"I like this." I did a slow spin. "Individuality."

"Here's a map." Jon said.

We walked to a giant map in the middle of the street right in front of the bridge. There was a giant white dot in the middle of the city, the City Hall. Behind and on both sides of it was a large group of buildings, labeled Council Homes. The rest were just random buildings.

"Ready to go to the City Hall?" Skye grinned.

I nodded. "Let's do dis."

I got just a wittle bit sidetracked on our tour. JUST A WITTLE BIT. But it actually helped!

Okay, so we were walking down the street. I could see the City Hall stand tall, maybe 30 or 40 stories. It was gleaming Quartz and glowstone, with elaborate patterns that Abby gawked at. The top was a giant white stained glass dome.

We were almost there, when something caught my eye. I looked to the right at an intersection and saw someone walking down the street.

"It can't be." I squinted my eyes at them.

"Huh?" Jake asked.

"What's wrong?" Infinity ask. "Did little Jimmy fall down the well?"

I ran forward. I ignored a person's complaint about me jumping over their dog. When I made it to the person, I literally lunged at them. I knocked them over, us both falling on the ground.

"What the nether!" He yelled, rubbing his head and standing up.

I just laid there on my back, laughing.

He narrowed his eyes at me, then widened them. "Kat...?"

"Charlie!!!" I grinned widely.

He helped me up, grinning as well. "Hey!"

"Hi! It's so good to see you!" I said.

"Good to see you too!" Charlie held my one shoulder. "How are you?"

"Awesome! This place is amazing!" I gestured around.

"Wait." He held his hand out in a 'hold on' motion. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh. Yeah. Right. Well, we're going to see the council."

"We're?"

"Kat!" I heard Jake's voice.

I turned and saw everyone running toward us.

"What... Who..." Gordon made out.

"Charlie, meet Jake, Infinity, Abby, Gordon, Skye and Jon." I gestured to everyone as I said their name. "Jake, Infinity, Abby, Gordon, Skye, and Jon, this is Charlie. My friend from the village."

"Sup." Infinity nodded.

"So you're friends with a villager." Skye nodded. "Cool."

"Blacksmith?" Jake asked.

Charlie nodded. "Village leader, too."

"Noice." Gordon grinned.

"So how'd it go with the priest?" I asked.

Charlie shrugged. "I spoke with the council. They plan on the police interrogating him, and deciding his punishment."

"Dark magic is very dangerous." Jon said.

Charlie nodded. "Doubt he'll get away with it."

Skye chuckled. "I can bet on that."

"So what are you guys doing then?" Charlie asked. "With the council?"

"Let them know she's here." Jake shrugged.

"Could that be good or bad?"

"Hopefully good."

"Ah. So you guys are winging it?"

"Pretty much." Abby nodded.

"Good option." Charlie laughed. "Am I able to come along?"

"No." I said seriously. "Never."

"Okay let's go." Charlie said, walking to the intersection.

Jake looked at me. "He didn't even ask about how everyone met...?"

I shrugged. "He probably knew I'd leave the village and find weird people. Now come on!
