Chapter 20: Ohhhhhh
I did it! :D there's a drawing of Kat right there. I'm doing Jake next, and then Infinity :}

"Are we there yet?" Abby whined.
"We'll get there when we get there!" I said.
"I'm hungry." Gordon whined.
"You could've eaten five minutes ago!" Jake face palmed.
"But I wasn't hungry then!"
We were walking in a forest. It wasn't super crowded with trees, so it was pretty easy. We've been walking for about an hour now.
"Don't make me turn this trip around because I will!" Jake said.
Infinity laughed. "You all are like a big family."
"What does that make you?" Abby asked her.
"The dog." Jake said.
"Dude." Infinity warned, growling.
Jake chuckled. "Abby, we should be arriving tomorrow, midday. Gordon, wait until we stop again. Kat- oh wait you didn't do anything."
"For once." I grinned.
"Guys, look!" Infinity gestured front of us.
From behind the trees, I could make out sand. As we got closer, it became a desert. A desert right on the edge of a forest. It stretched wide, as far as I could see. And I couldn't see the end in front of us.
"Deserts. Bad." Gordon noted.
"Why?"
Abby looked at me as if I was crazy. "Hardly any protection from a crazy amount of mobs. Only the bravest villagers make homes in deserts."
"We have to go through, though." Jake squinted at the map. "I don't think it's too big. But if we go all the way around, it'll take a few extra days, and we don't really have that time. The fastest way is through."
"I'm sure we'll be fine." Infinity smirked. "I'm an excellent archer. Oh, and I guess everyone else is good at fighting too."
As we ventured ahead, going into the desert, I couldn't help but think if this was a bad idea.

"THIS WAS A BAD IDEA!" I screamed, carrying Gordon's rag doll body between Jake and I.
"Who's idea was this to go into the desert in the first place?!" Infinity said, as she shot arrows.
I glared at Jake, who sent me an exasperated look.
Abby, who was ahead, gasped. "Guys! Look!"
Okay, wait, I'm missing an important part. Let me go back.

We were taking a peaceful stroll through the hot desert. The sun was shining, the cacti bloomed. And by that description, I mean that we were barely making it through a hot furnace where the sun laughed at us and the cacti tried to kill us. Nevertheless, Gordon kept telling jokes, and we kept going on. But the sun was starting to set, and the sky started turning pink.
"Should we build a house?" Abby asked.
"No. Better to forge on." Jake answered.
"Dang."
"Just stick together, watch each other's backs." I ordered. "We got melee and ranged, so no creepers should be able to get close, as well as any other mobs." I blinked. "Woah. That was bossy."
Jake gave me a look, crossed between admiration and fright. I don't know how he managed it, but he did.
"Uh... Yeah. What she said." Gordon said, then laughed. Everyone else started chuckling, ending the tension.
"So let's do this thing." Infinity said, and we all walked on.
The desert was cooler at night, which was good for us. The night sky shined bright and beautiful, illuminating our path. We did see some mobs, but they were further off, and ignored us.
"Weird..." Jake muttered.
"What?" I asked.
He looked around. "There's usually a lot more mobs..."
"Ya know what, I'm completely okay with this."
"Creeper." Infinity said. Ahead of us was a single creeper walking toward us. It was maybe 50 blocks away, nearby a sand dune, but Infinity shot it easily. It fell, and disappeared, leaving behind a single gunpowder.
"Ooo! I need that!" Gordon said, and he ran ahead.
All of a sudden, it was like the air got a lot colder. I smelled gunpowder. The area had an eerie feeling. Something was wrong.
"Gordon!" I yelled, running forward.
He looked at me, and then I realized I was an idiot. Because as soon as he turned, the ground behind him, near the gunpowder, opened up. Something green shot out, and the ground closed. A giant creeper, about triple the size of a regular one, was standing right behind Gordon. He had four long legs, and was still as skinny as a regular creeper, just taller. His eyes glowed red.
"Run!" Jake yelled.
Gordon ran forward, without any question, just as the creeper exploded. He was flung forward by a blast triple the size of a regular explosion, toward us. Jake caught him; or, more like he landed on Jake.
"Gordon!" Abby cried.
He wasn't moving, but he definitely was breathing.
"He's alive." I sighed.
"What is that?" Infinity asked.
"A creeper on steroids." Jake answered.
"The mutant creeper." I said.
"He is going to pay." Abby actually growled. She pulled out her sword and took a step forward.
"No Abby." Jake said and held out his arm so she couldn't go further. "We both know that you aren't the best fighter."
A hissing noise was heard from the creeper. It sounded as if he was laughing. "You tiny fools are no match for the might of the creeper." He hissed.
"Then come and face us! You big ugly creep!" Abby yelled.
"Issues..." Infinity whispered in my ear.
I nodded back.
The mutant creeper (you guessed it) hissed like an ocelot. "Fools. I would destroy you, but I must return miss Katherine."
I thought of a few things when he said that, but I said the first thing that came to mind. "At least he's nice and called me miss."
We all stepped in front of Gordon and brandished our weapons. Infinity and I aimed our bows.
The mutant creeper arched his back, and a bunch of hisses were heard.
I turned around and gulped. "Guys."
"Don't tell me." Jake closed his eyes. "There's a group of creepers behind us."
"Big group." I nodded.
"How far away." Infinity said, not looking behind.
"Maybe a hundred blocks away."
"How many?"
"I can't count when I'm nervous." I said.
"Perfect. That means there's a lot."
"Should we run?" Abby looked behind, and saw the same thing I saw. She gulped too. "Yes. We should run."
"Grab Gordon!" Jake yelled. He grabbed the side of Gordon's legs, and I grabbed his arms. Then, we all ran away from the large group of, like, 40 creepers.
The bad news was, we were running toward the mutant creeper. The good news was, he was so surprised (because he thought we were attacking him), that he didn't do anything as we ran past. The giant group of creepers, along with the mutant creeper, chased after us.
Wait.
Ohhhhhhh. So that's what that dude in the clouds was trying to say. Don't go into the desert. Oops.
"Guys! Look!"
We looked where she was pointing, and saw a few Endermen up ahead. I have only seen them once, when I saw that tall one looking at Charlie and I back at the ravine. But these ones were already mad at us, with their jaws unhinged and a terrible noise emitting from them.
"What do we do?" Infinity yelled. The Endermen were in our path, and could teleport and follow us.
Wait, teleport... That gave me an idea. It would be a great idea, if my knowledge is correct.
"Guys, kill the Endermen! We need an enderpearl."
Jake looked at me, and then nodded. "I see your plan."
Infinity knew it as well, and took Gordon from Jake. Then, Jake ran to a lone Enderman, and fought him. The Enderman kept trying to grab him, but he was too fast. Finally, Jake stabbed it in the back. It dispersed and dropped an enderpearl.
"Got it!" Jake yelled.
"Give it here!" I said as we ran to him, and he handed it to me. "Everyone grab a hold of me."
As Abby and Infinity took Gordon, Infinity and Jake made sure to grab my arm. With my other arm, I chucked the enderpearl as far as I could. It sailed through the sky, and disappeared in the darkness.
We slowed down, thinking that something was wrong, but then we heard the mutant creeper yell, "Get them!" and we starting running again.
Finally, the world turned upside-down, and I felt my body disperse into nothingness. I felt a sharp pain everywhere, and dark green sparkles filled my vision.
"Kat!"

Um.... I dunno.
I figured out my plan a little bit more, and I'm just gonna say that it complicated as fudge.
Mmmm.... Fudge.
Question:
What kind of player are you MOSTLY?
Examples: Miner, Fighter, Builder, Parkour Person, Farmer, or other?
Rock on, my little rebels.
