Chapter 3

*Isabella's P.O.V*

I was woken up on Monday morning to Jumpshot by Dawin blaring from my phone, which was the song I'd set for my alarm. It was a really catchy song and a good wake up call. Like every school morning, it took me a few minutes to will myself to get up and leave the warm comfort of my bed, but I finally did, and went into my bathroom. I turned on the shower and got undressed, made sure the water was the right temperature and stepped in. I grabbed the bottle of coconut and honey shampoo and squirted a blob into my hand, before massaging it into my scalp. After rinsing out the shampoo, I used the matching conditioner, before moving on to wash my body with my vanilla scented body wash.

I soon finished in the shower and quickly dried myself with my pastel pink towel, before wrapping it around myself and going into my bedroom, where I put on my school uniform. For school, I had to wear a white blouse, a red cardigan with a knitted pattern down the sides, a red, blue, grey and gold checkered tie, a navy blue skirt, a pair of tights and a pair of black flats with straps around the ankles and a thin crisscross pattern.

I blow-dried my hair and left it down, but slipped on a headband with gold and white flowers to the right of my head. I grabbed my backpack which was on my desk chair and left my room. My backpack was black with white music notes all over and the front pocket was white and in black writing said 'Music is my first love'.

I went downstairs into the kitchen, where the whole family was. I swear, every morning is exactly the same.

"Morning, princess." Mum smiled warmly.

"Morning." I replied, "Morning, friends." I smiled into the camera that Dad had pointed at me, before getting out the box of Special K.

"I spoke with Sara and said that you would walk to the bus stop with Max and Harvey. You're okay with that, right?" Mum said.

"Yeah, that's fine." I nodded as I took my breakfast over to the dining table and sat down opposite Emilia and Eduardo, who were enjoying some Weetabix and banana wheels. I smiled to myself at the thought of seeing Harvey again, even though I just saw him yesterday and I spent ages texting him last night. I was happy about seeing Max as well, obviously. I was happy about seeing both of them, because over the last couple days they've become good friends of mine. Just friends, of course. That's all either of them are to me. I mean, sure, Harvey-

"Izzy?" My whizzing thoughts were interrupted by Dad calling my name and waving his hand in front of my face.

"Yeah?" I slowly lifted my gaze from my bowl of cereal.

"You zoned out. Is your breakfast really that interesting?" Dad joked.

"No." I said with a laugh, "I was just...thinking. I've got a maths test today." I actually did have a maths test, but that wasn't what I was thinking about.

"Well, as long as you studied, all you can do is your best." Mum said.

"Thanks, Mum. I know." I smiled softly. I quickly downed the rest of my cereal and just as I swallowed the last spoonful, there was a knock on the front door.

"That'll probably be the boys." Mum said.

"Alright, I guess I'll get going then." I said, swinging my backpack over my shoulder and saying goodbye my family, receiving kisses on the forehead from Mum and Dad and hugs from Emilia and Eduardo. I then left the kitchen and went to open the front door to reveal Max and Harvey, as expected.

"Mornin'." Harvey greeted me in a fake, thick Wiltshire accent.

"Morning." I laughed in my regular Irish accent, "Hey, Max." I added.

"Hey." He replied with a small chuckle. I closed the door behind us before the three of us started walking to the bus stop, which was only about a five minute walk.

"Nervous?" I asked the twins while we waited for the bus to arrive.

"A little." Max shrugged.

"I guess." Harvey said at the same time.

"Well, don't worry. Timberley Academy isn't that bad." I assured them (made up school name).

"And you'll be there for us, right?" Harvey asked. There was something about the way he said that made me feel all warm and pleasant inside. He was basically saying he needed me to be there for him, and for some reason, that made me really happy. Okay, so, he was asking on behalf of him and Max, but would you just let me enjoy the moment?

"Yeah, course I will." I smiled warmly at Harvey even though my answer was aimed at both of them, as the bus finally pulled up.

"Come on, love birds, the bus is here." Max said, making me blush faintly.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Harvey asked as we climbed onto the bus.

"Nothing." Max sang. As we got on the bus, all eyes were on Max and Harvey.

"Just ignore the stares." I whispered to the two of them, before we went to sit down at the back of the bus, on the seat that holds more than two people.

"So, what's going to happen once we get to school?" Max curiously asked.

"I'll take you to the headmaster's office so you can get your timetables and find out what forms you'll both be in." I explained.

"Hopefully we'll be in your form." Harvey said, causing Max to snort in laughter.

"Is that your attempt at flirting?" Max sniggered. Harvey blushed and because I knew he was embarrassed, I got embarrassed and started blushing as well.

"No! I just mean, b-because we don't know anyone other than Isabella, it'd be easier if we're put in the same classes as her." Harvey explained, still a little flustered.

"I know what you mean, Harves." I said with a small giggle. Despite the fact I was just as embarrassed, seeing him get all pink and blushy was quite cute.

Before long, the bus arrived at school and as promised, I showed the boys to the headmaster, Mr. Barlow's office. Mr. Barlow greeted them and welcomed them to the school, before asking me what I was doing in there, so I had to explain that they were my next door neighbours and I was helping them as it was their first day. Mr. Barlow gave Max and Harvey their timetables and told them they'd both be in my form, much to the three of our delights. After all that, Mr. Barlow took us all to the art room, where my form time was always held.

"Good morning, Mr. Barlow." My form teacher, Mr. Downs politely greeted as we walked in.

"Good morning, Mr. Downs. I just thought I'd come by to introduce the new students, as they'll be in your form. This is Max and Harvey." Mr. Barlow explained, pointing to the wrong twin when he said their names.

"Um, I'm Max." Max spoke up awkwardly.

"And I'm Harvey." Harvey added just as awkwardly, as I stifled my laughter.

"I'm terribly sorry." Mr. Barlow said, as the twins brushed it off.

"Well, welcome to the school." Mr. Downs greeted them.

"Thanks." They said in unison. I'd never heard them speak in unison before and I have to admit, it was a little creepy.

"Oh, and excuse Miss. SacconeJoly for being late, she was helping the boys find my office." Mr. Barlow told Mr. Downs, "Which reminds me, Miss. SacconeJoly. What classes do you have before break?"

"Science and Maths." I replied, not sure what he had in mind.

"Okay, well, could you show the boys around the school this morning? I'll clear it with your teachers so you don't get in trouble for not showing up to class." He said. I could feel my classmates glaring at me. Despite who I was, I wasn't the most popular girl in school and I think it's because people are just bitter because I won't be their friend. Yes, I'm aware of how conceited that sounds, but I didn't intend for it to seem like that, and it's not that I'm an unfriendly person, I just don't trust easily. As I've mentioned before, everyone always just uses me for my internet fame, so I've developed a few trust issues when it comes to friendship and things like that. It's different with Max and Harvey, though. They had no reason to use me if they had internet fame of their own, and even though I just met them a couple of days ago, I felt like I could trust them, and I hadn't felt like that in a long time.

"Miss. SacconeJoly?" Mr. Barlow snapped me out of my daydream.

"Oh, yeah, sorry. Um, sure, I'll show the boys around." I stammered. Mr. Barlow thanked me and left Mr. Downs to continue tutor time, and I left the room with Max and Harvey to start the tour.

"Where are you taking us first then, tour guide?" Harvey asked.

"I...have no idea." I mumbled.

"I want my money back." Max declared.

"You're not paying me." I reminded him.

"Yeah, because you're a terrible tour guide!" Harvey exclaimed with a giggle. I playfully rolled my eyes.

"I will leave you both stranded in this hallway, and trust me, you do not want to be here when the bell goes." I threatened, "It's like that scene from The Lion King when Mufasa was killed by the stampede of wildebeest." I would just like to apologise to all of my fellow Disney enthusiasts for mentioning possibly the saddest movie moment in the history of everything.

"Okay, we're sorry, you're a great tour guide." Harvey said.

"But you'd be even better if you'd actually get on with it!" Max added. I playfully glared at him, before taking them to start the first part of the tour; the classrooms. After showing them all the classrooms for all the lessons, which took quite a while I must admit, I showed them the canteen, the nurse's office, the sixth form area, the reception, the gym, the assembly hall and the AstroTurf we use for sports and stuff.

Showing the boys around was fun. We just messed around and acted like dweebs the whole time, which in my opinion, is the best way to spend time with mates.

By the time we'd finished the tour, it was breaktime and after break we had history. Bleh. After History we had English which isn't my favourite class, but I don't mind it as I like writing, and then after English it was lunchtime. Max and Harvey had to stay behind and talk to our English teacher about an essay she'd assigned last week but obviously they couldn't do it as they'd only just started her class. I offered to wait outside the classroom for them so they didn't have to go to lunch alone, but they insisted I went ahead, so that's what I did. After getting a chicken Caesar salad and a bottle of water, I went to find a table. I sat there for around ten minutes picking at my salad, until Max and Harvey walked over with their lunch.

"Hey, why are you sat on your own?" Harvey asked with a small frown.

"I was waiting for you guys." I replied.

"You could've sat with some of your friends, we wouldn't have minded." He told me.

"I, uh, don't really have many friends." I admitted, my salad suddenly becoming very interesting to look at.

"Really? I though you'd be well popular, with your parents being who they are and all." Max said.

"Max!" Harvey scolded. I guess some people might think what Max said was a little insensitive, but I knew that wasn't his intention.

"It's okay." I said, "And it's actually because of my family's YouTube fame that I don't have many friends."

"How do you mean?" Max asked.

"A lot of people just use me for my internet fame so I never open myself up to new friends and the friends I once had, well, I stopped trusting them." I shrugged like it was no big deal, which it wasn't. Well, not to me anyway.

"But you're not like that with us." Harvey stated.

"That's because I figured I didn't have to worry about you two using me, you know with your popularity on Musical.ly and all. Plus I felt like I could trust you guys and I haven't felt like that in a while, so I thought I should listen to my instinct." I explained awkwardly, not looking at the twins.

"Well, you were right to listen to your instinct. You can definitely trust us." Harvey said. I glanced at him to see he was giving me a warm smile, which made my heart practically melt. I have him a sincere smile back.

"And we can be your friends!" Max added, yelling like a little kid as he threw his arms around my neck.

"Thanks guys." I laughed as Harvey joined in with the hug. We probably looked like total nutters to everyone else in the canteen, but I couldn't have cared less to be honest.

Lunch was soon over so we went back to class and before long, it was time to go home. The boys and I got the bus, just like this morning.

"Do you two want to come in for a bit?" I asked as we stopped outside our houses.

"Alright." Harvey said.

"Sure." Max said at the same time. So with that, we went into my house, where Mum was in the kitchen.

"Hey, sweetpea, how was- oh, hey boys." Mum cut herself off, obviously not expecting to see the boys trail in behind me.

"Hey, I invited them in for a bit, I hope that's alright." I said.

"Actually, I'm afraid they can't stay. I'd love for them to, but we're going over to Zoe and Alfie's for tea and you still need to change out of your uniform." Mum said.

"Oh..." I turned to the boys, "Sorry."

"Don't worry about it." Harvey said with a smile, "See you tomorrow?"

"Yeah." I smiled back, "Bye."

"Bye." They said in unison, making me giggle. They left and I ran upstairs to get changed. I decided to wear a pink sweater with a black Aztec print skull on the front and one sleeve off the shoulder, a plain white tank top underneath, a pair of black ripped skinny jeans and mint green suede Adidas sneakers. I softly curled my hair and threw it in a ponytail. Around my neck was a gold key necklace and around my wrist was a collection of blue and white pirate themed bracelets.

Once I was ready I left my room, only to find Dad messing around with the little ones on the landing.

"Oh, hello, Bells. How long have you been home?" Dad asked me, pointing his camera at me as he was vlogging.

"Not too long." I replied.

"Izzy, guess what!" Emilia yelled.

"What?" I smiled, lifting her up onto my hip.

"We're going to Zoe and Alfie's!" She exclaimed.

"I know!" I said, acting excited for her.

"Do you think Nala will be there?" She asked me.

"I expect so." I told my little sister, before putting her down so she could go and play with Eduardo. I saw Dad looking at me with a large smile, "What?"

"Have me or your mother ever told you how good of a big sister you are?" He asked me.

"I don't think so, but thank you." I said bashfully, as he was still filming.

"You're going to be a big sister of three soon." Dad reminded me, "Are you excited?"

"Yeah." I smiled, "Really excited." I was still trying to get my head round the fact that Mum was pregnant again. Mum and Dad only told me a couple months ago and I literally burst into tears when they did. Don't get me wrong, I love Emilia and Eduardo to pieces but I'd been dying for a new baby sibling and when Mum miscarried I was crushed, just like the rest of the family, so when she got pregnant again, I was probably the happiest I've ever felt, as was everyone else. Of course, we don't know the gender yet and won't find out until September, but I honestly didn't care. Brother or sister, it wouldn't change how much I already loved them and how much I would love them once he/she was born. As well as being ecstatic and over the moon, I was also a little scared because of what happened last time, but I knew I couldn't live in fear otherwise it would overpower the joy and ruin everything for me.

It wasn't long before the five of us were leaving the house and piling into the car. The journey to Zoe and Alfie's wasn't particularly interesting, I just listened to one of my favourite albums, Nothing Personal by All Time Low, as well as messing around with Emilia and Eduardo since I sat between their car seats in the back. Before I knew it, Dad was parking the car in Zoe and Alfie's driveway and we were getting out of the car. While Mum and Dad were getting the little ones out of the car, I decided to go ahead and walked up to the front door. I knocked and heard Nala barking from inside, before Alfie answered the door with his vlogging camera.

"Hey, kiddo." He grinned at me, bending down to give me a one-armed hug. And I mean he really had to bend down, as he was a giant, standing at 6'0 and I was only 4'6.

"Hello." I giggled, hugging back, "Mum and Dad are getting Emilia and Eduardo out of the car."

"Okay, come on in." He said and I obliged. I walked into the house and found Zoe sat at their dining table, on her laptop. As soon as she saw me walk in, a smile spread across her face.

"Izzy!" She rushed over and engulfed me in a bear hug.

"Zoe!" I laughed, happily hugging back. Despite the thirteen year age difference, Zoe and I were extremely close. She was like the big sister I'd never had and we hadn't seen each other in a couple of months, so you can see why we were so excited to see each other.

Minutes later, the rest of my family came in and there were a lot more hugs shared. We all went into Zoe and Alfie's living room to watch TV. We decided to order Wagamamas for dinner, and of course we had to wait for it to arrive. Zoe had the remote and was looking for something we could all watch, when The Fosters caught my eye, causing me to gasp as I absolutely adored the show.

"Can we watch The Fosters? Please!" I begged.

"I don't think that's the most appropriate thing for Emilia and Eduardo, do you?" Mum said. She had a point; it was targeted more at teens and had some pretty mature themes.

"I suppose you're right." I sighed, slouching back into the couch and taking my phone out of my pocket. I was sat between Zoe and Alfie and Nala was on Alfie's lap, Mum and Dad were sat further down the sofa and Emilia and Eduardo were sat on the floor, which was their choice, by the way. Zoe finally decided on British Bake Off, but I didn't pay much attention as I'd started to talk to Harvey on Snapchat. We were just talking about random crap that didn't really mean anything, until he asked me to send him a picture of me. No, not that kind of picture. God, get your minds out of the gutter, people!

Anyway, I took a selfie with the dog filter and sent it to Harvey with the caption 'Woof🐶😊'. He replied with a message seconds later.

Harvsicle🙈🙉🙊

You look cute 😊

Me

Everyone looks cute with the dog filter

Harvsicle🙈🙉🙊

Yeah but you're extra cute 😉

"Is that Harvey you're talking to?" Zoe's voice made me jump out of my skin and nearly drop my phone. I turned around to see her peering at my phone screen from next to me. Alfie and the little ones had now gone off to play with Nala in the other room and Mum and Dad were with them, vlogging it.

"Have you been watching me this whole time?" I asked.

"No, of course not. I'm just judging by the smile on your face." She stated with a smirk.

"How do you even know who Harvey is, anyway?" I asked suspiciously.

"Your mother tells me things." She told me, the suggestive smirk never leaving her face.

"Well, whatever you think, Harvey and I are just friends." I told her.

"Really?" Zoe raised her eyebrows and glanced at my phone screen, where my Snapchat conversation with Harvey was still open.

"Friends can call each other cute!" I defended.

"So do you blush like a strawberry and smile like an idiot with all your other friends?" She asked me, another cheeky smirk spreading across her face.

"I'm not blushing, it's just hot in here." That was probably the worst lie I'd ever attempted to tell and there's no way in hell that she bought it.

"You don't have to play dumb with me, Bells. I was thirteen once as well, you know, and once upon a time, it was me in your place." She told me.

"That's good to know, Zoe, but I've never had a crush before. How am I even supposed to know if I have one on Harvey?" I asked awkwardly.

"Well, does he make you smile?" Zoe asked me.

"Yeah, all the time, but a lot of things make me smile." I shrugged.

"But how do you feel when he makes you smile?" She wondered.

"I don't know..." I trailed off.

"How do you feel when he's around?" She asked another question.

"Happy?" I replied with more of a question than a statement.

"Do you get a warm, fuzzy, kind of pleasant feeling in the pit of your stomach?" She placed a hand on her stomach to indicate.

"Yeah, now that you mention it." I nodded.

"Sounds like you've got your first crush." Zoe told me with a wink and a small grin. I tried to suppress my own smile and blush by looking down, "This is so cute." She practically squealed.

"Please don't tell anyone." I suddenly begged, my head shooting up to look desperately at Zoe.

"Your secret's safe with me." Zoe giggled, causing me to let out a sigh of relief.

That was the day I realised I had crush on Harvey. I really hoped it wouldn't make things weird.

A/N: It took me so long to write this chapter I can't even 😩 hopefully it won't take me a billion years to write the next chapter but, y'know, school's a time-consuming ass so I can't promise anything 😂 I hope you guys liked this chapter, what do you think about Harvey and Isabella? Like 'em? Hate 'em? Personally, I think they're cute and I hope something happens between them soon 😉 I've got quite a few ideas for this story and I'm excited to show you all, but with school and everything I don't have much time on my hands. Hopefully once the October half term starts I'll have more time to update. Anyway, I'll stop rambling now 😊 Love you guys loads 💖✨
