Chapter 26

*Isabella's P.O.V*

I woke up feeling like a Pick n Mix bag of emotions. I was sad because we were leaving Sorrento today, scared because of the plane ride and overjoyed because Harvey was now my boyfriend. Wow, that feels weird to say. Harvey is my boyfriend... Can I get that sentence in a tattoo?

I was pulled out of my thoughts when my phone went off and smiled, butterflies filling my stomach when I read the text that Harvey had sent me.

It was only 6am and I didn't even know why I was awake so early, let alone Harvey, who I know likes to have a lie in.

After smiling at my phone screen like an idiot for about three minutes, I got out of bed and tiptoed into the bathroom, trying not to wake the still sleeping Erika. I had a quick shower, using my tropical fruits shampoo and conditioner and my watermelon body wash before shutting off the water and exiting the shower. I dried myself with the fluffy white towel provided by the hotel before going back into the room. I'd pretty much finished packing last night, but I left my white and blue floral dress out of my suitcase and a few other items so I could wear them today. I carefully slipped on my dress and paired it with my jewel flower sandals. I left my hair down and natural, but slid in a couple of silver flower bobby pins and slipped on my blue beaded bracelet set. I added my blue rose case to my phone before I was done.

Once I was dressed and ready, I quickly left Erika note explaining where I'd gone before I exited the room, slowly and quietly closing the door behind me. I turned around after shutting the door and surely enough, Harvey was stood just outside his, Max and Leo's room, waiting for me wearing that oh so charming smile of his.

"Hello." He smirked as I walked over to him.

"Hi." I giggled as he kissed me hello, melting into his lips. When he pulled away, we just stood there, holding each other's hands. It was a bit awkward as neither of us knew what to say next.

"Uh, shall we go?" I finally asked, breaking the silence.

"Oh, um, sure."

I smiled as Harvey took my hand and we walked into the elevator, making our way down to the beach.

"Have you really liked me since the day we met?" Harvey asked as we walked along the shore. I looked over at him to see an adorably shy smile on his face.

"Pretty much, yeah." I answered honestly, "I have to admit, it was always hard being your best friend and having to pretend like I didn't have these feelings for you."

"I know how you feel." He said, the smile never leaving his face. It was so crazy finding out that Harvey felt the exact same all along.

"So... When you said you didn't like Fabio that much, was that..." He awkwardly trailed off, trying to think of the right way to end his sentence, but I already knew what he meant.

"Because of you? Yeah, kinda. He tried to kiss me a couple times as well, but I turned him away both times because I was waiting for someone else."

"Oh yeah? Who?" Harvey raised his eyebrows, his mouth curving into a smirk as we both stopped walking and he stood in front of me, both of my hands in his.

"Well," I giggled, "He's really cute, he's got pretty hazel eyes, he happens to be standing right in front of me and he can be pretty damn clueless sometimes."

"Still doesn't ring a bell." He said, a cheeky smile on his face.

"Maybe this'll solve the mystery." I smirked, cupping his face and guiding it towards mine until our lips met. I stretched my arms out so they wrapped around Harvey's neck and ran my fingers through his hair, gently tugging at the light brown locks. Harvey emitted a soft moan at my actions, tightening his grip on my waist. Much to both of our dismay, the kiss was cut short when my phone started ringing. Harvey let out a small whine of disappointment and I couldn't help but smile, blushing as I looked at who called me: Mum.

"Hey, Mum, what's up?"

"Can you come back now please?"

"Yeah, alright, we're on our way." I said, ending the call before telling Harvey we had to go. We left the beach and before long, we were taking the elevator back up to our floor.

"You two shouldn't have wandered off like that." Mum scolded us as we walked into her room.

"I left Erika a note." I defended.

"Still, we had no idea how far you were going or how long you were going for."

"Sorry." I said.

"It's alright, just don't let it happen again. Now, care to explain that?" Mum smirked, gesturing towards our intertwined hands, seconds before Dad walked in and flipped out when he saw them too.

Harvey and I jumped apart as he started yelling, "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!"

I mentally face palmed at how stupid we'd been. We wanted to keep our relationship on the down-low and we'd just walked into my freaking mum's room holding hands! Why did we not think to let go before we entered?!

"Jonathan, calm down," Mum said before looking at Harvey and I, "Would you two like to explain?"

"Okay, well, uh, me and Harvey, we're kinda, like...together." I nervously informed them.

"That's wonderful, darling." Mum grinned which made me smile, until Dad ruined everything.

"No it's not! She's way too young for a boyfriend! I won't allow it!"

"Dad!" I whined. I should've known this would happen; this is exactly why Harvey and I originally planned to keep it low-key.

"Don't be so dramatic, Jonathan," Queen Mum was there to defend my honour, "Thirteen is plenty old enough for her first boyfriend. Plus, it's not like Harvey's a complete stranger, is it? We know he's a good kid and we can trust him." Harvey smiled at what Mum said before stepping closer to me and taking my hand once again.

"I'll treat her right, I promise. You won't regret letting us be together." He said. I smiled up at him, leaning into him slightly.

"Please, Dad."

"Oh, fine!" Dad said after a minute of thinking. Me and Harvey grinned excitedly at each other, before Dad added, "But no lovey dovey couple behaviour in front of me and you're not allowed to go anywhere private without supervision!"

"I think we can live with that." I giggled. Harvey chuckled before kissing my cheek, making it turn pink.

"I believe that's lovey dovey couple behaviour!" Dad cried, covering his eyes and making the rest of us laugh.

After that little incident, we went to breakfast, where Harvey and I were exposed to everyone else. Luckily, they all took it better than Dad did, especially Erika. She wouldn't stop squealing about how cute of a couple me and Harvey were, and then Max had to go and make everything awkward by shouting, "Yes! Get it, Harv!"

The next few hours were spent turning our hotel rooms upside down, quadruple checking that we weren't going to leave anything behind. Sadly, before I knew it, we were in a taxi on the way to the airport.

"Wow, how beautiful is that?" I breathed, looking out the taxi window at the sun that had just begun to set.

"Not as beautiful as you." Harvey said, lacing his fingers through mine.

"Oh, Harvey," I blushed hard before I let a giggle out, "That's the cheesiest thing you've ever said."

"It was pretty cheesy, wasn't it?" Harvey laughed, wrinkling his nose.

The rest of the journey was pretty boring and I could feel the anxiety bubbling in my stomach as we arrived at the airport.

"You gonna be okay?" Harvey asked me, concern masking his face as we waited for the plane to take off. Just like last time, I was by the window, Harvey was next to me in the middle, and Max was on the end.

"As long as I'm with you, I'll be fine." I smiled.

"Look who's being cheesy now." He teased. I giggled before laying my head on his chest. Harvey gave my hand a gentle squeeze as the plane started moving and I felt him kiss my forehead as it started it's ascent. I could safely say this has been the best holiday of my life so far.
