Chapter 16

A/N: Hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in a couple weeks, if you read my other book The Youngest Sugg or you've seen the message on my profile, you'd know that I've been in the UK for the past two and a half weeks and not been able to update because I've been so busy and also because I haven't had a lot of internet access. However, I'm back in France now (which I hate, I wish I could just move back home to England and never have to leave 😪) but one good thing about it is that I have wifi and I can get back to updating more often 😊 this chapter isn't very long but hope you guys enjoy it anyway xx

*Isabella's P.O.V*

Today was a day that I'd been looking forward to for ages. Today I was getting my cast taken off. My ankle actually healed faster than the doctors thought and we still had, like, a week left of the summer holidays.

I woke up at 8:30 am since we had to be at the hospital for 9:30 and got out of bed. I'd showered the night before so I went straight over to my wardrobe and picked out an outfit to wear, which consisted of a summer dress with light blue, pink and yellow tie dye and light mint blue Converse. I curled my hair in slightly wild curls and slipped on some jewelry, before snapping a pink case with a neon heart on onto my phone and then I was ready for the day.

I made my way downstairs and met my family in the kitchen.

"Morning, Bells." Mum greeted me as I walked in.

"Morning." I smiled at her as I sat down at the island, then looked at Dad's vlogging camera, "Morning, friends."

"Isabella is getting her cast taken off today and she's quite excited." Dad explained to our friends.

"I am so ready to get this stupid thing off." I said, pointing to my chunky ankle cast with a pout.

I quickly had breakfast and by the time I finished, it was time to leave. We all got in the car and Dad drove to the hospital and when we arrived we had to wait a little while before I was called into a room. I was greeted by a doctor named Dr. Tish and he told me to lay down on the hospital bed. The process didn't take too long, he just cut the cast off of my leg and then did some examinations to make sure everything was okay.

"All fixed." He smiled at me when I was ready to leave, "Just go careful, try not to be too active for the next month or so."

"I'll keep that in mind. Thank you." I grinned, happy to have my foot free. It felt weird walking around on it but I knew I would soon get used to it. I left the hospital room and my family were still in the same place I left them but Dad now had his camera out.

"Here she is!" He beamed, filming me, "How do you feel?"

"Free." I answered, causing he and Mum to laugh.

"Is your foot all better now, Izzy?" Emilia asked me.

"It sure is, Munchkin." I smiled down at my little sister. We soon left the hospital and went home.

~Later That Day~

I was sat in the living room, watching Sofia The First with Emilia and Eduardo, when there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it!" I called upstairs as I knew Mum and Dad were up there. I left the living room and walked over to the front door, opening to reveal the entire Mills family, "Oh, uh, hello." I greeted them awkwardly, not expecting to see them, especially not the entire family.

"Hiya, Isabella." Sara smiled warmly at me, "Your parents called us over for a chat."

"Oh, okay." I nodded, wondering why I didn't know about this, as Mum and Dad came down the stairs. They greeted the Mills and invited them in.

"You got your cast off, then?" Harvey asked me as I shut the door behind them.

"Yeah, got it off this morning." I grinned. Luckily nothing was too awkward after our 'almost kiss' and we're both pretty much over it now. Although, I do often wonder what would've happened if Max hadn't walked in that day.

"I bet you're glad to have it off, huh?" He said.

"Oh, you have no idea." I laughed.

"Well, you look great." He told me, "Not that you don't always look great."

"Thanks, Harv." I blushed, "Come on, let's go and see what our parents are talking about." And so we walked into the living room, where Dad had just started talking.

"Okay, we didn't know if we'd be able to go on our annual Sorrento holiday this year because of Isabella's ankle, but now that she's healed, we can!" Dad started, which made me so happy because I was doubtful about Sorrento this year as well.

"And you know that Oma and Erika are joining us this year?" Mum continued.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"Well, we thought to say thank you to the Mills for looking after you this Summer, we'd invite them with us as well!" She announced, earning many shocked faces, "We'll be paying, of course."

"You don't have to do that!" Sara exclaimed.

"We'd be happy to join you on your holiday, but there's no way we're going to let you pay for everything!" Paul added.

"Nonsense, you took our daughter in and kept her healthy and happy while we were away without a fuss, it's the least we can do." Dad said. After a lot of persuasion, Sara and Paul finally agreed to let Mum and Dad pay for them to come on holiday with us and to say I was excited to go to Sorrento with my two best friends would be an ultimate understatement.
