"Jade?"

"Hmm?"

"I believe you're at the wrong table." I lifted my head and saw Regulus holding a laughter. I groaned and grabbed a roll of bread.

"Technically I'm at the right table. I am a Slytherin after all." I yawned. "Hand me the eggs and juice, please."

"I know but you're always eating with Siri and the rest. Everything okay?" He handed me the juice and eggs and I nodded.

"Yeah. I'm just exhausted, that's all. Trying to keep my boys in check is pretty exhausting." I laughed a bit and looked at the Gryffindor table. There was James and Sirius arguing over a roll of bread, Peter was trying to split them up and Remus was reading and scolding the boys.

"Your boys, huh? That's cute." Regulus laughed with me and looked at the table also. "Are they always like this?"

"Believe it or not, they're exhausted. Sometimes they're worse. James almost killed Sirius once for eating the last slice of bacon. We take our breakfast really seriously." I yawned and started to eat. "And yeah. They're my boys. They like to deny it, but everybody knows that they're my boys."

"Oh Merlin. Jade, what are you doing?" Regulus asked as I stood up.

"WHERE ARE MY BOYS?" I yelled out.

"HERE!" The four boys said in unison and then they noticed. "WAIT!"

Regulus and I laughed hysterically at this.

"I told you. They're my boys."

"That they are, Jade. That they are."

...

"Siri, you tired?" I asked once I entered the Gryffindor common room with James behind me.

"Exhausted. Last night was the worst we've ever been." Sirius yawned and pulled me to the sofa with him. "Give me attention."

"He's such a baby, honestly." Remus rolled his eyes and continued to draw on the map.

"Tell me about it. Look at them, it's disgusting." James sat down next to Remus and took a quill and started to draw also.

"You two are just jealous that I'm getting attention and you're not." Sirius mumbled and hugged my waist starting to falling asleep. I rolled my eyes and started to play with his hair.

"He's letting her touch his hair. Is this isn't true love, I don't know what is." Peter smiled at us.

"I'm the only one who can touch it." I mumbled and closed my eyes and fell asleep.

"I'm telling you Lily, there's no more war. I swear it."

"Good, because I feared for your life when I found you and Sirius sleeping on the sofa. I even took pictures just in case." She opened her bag and pulled out a picture of me and Sirius on the Gryffindor common room.

"The flash was you!? I thought it was Remus messing with us again. Can I keep it?" She laughed and nodded.

"Remus told me to take the photo. Peter had to restrain your brother while I took it. And sure, I took it for you." She handed me the picture and I hugged her in thanks. "You two are absolutely adorable and I think I'll die of cuteness when you two go on your first date."

"Yeah, a date." I mumbled.

"He hasn't asked you!?" I shook my head. "I'll kill him. He was waiting for the toerag to back off and now that he's done just that, he hasn't asked you!?"

"You can't force these things, Lil. But I am about to ask him if he doesn't get his shit together."

"Good for you! You should ask him. Anyways, I gotta run. Marlene needs help with Herbology." She let go of my arm. "We'll talk later okay? Before astronomy?"

"Sure! Tell Marlene I said hi." She nodded and left. I made my way towards the courtyard.

"Where are my boys?"

"Here!" They all said in unison. I laughed and walked over to them.

"We're not her boys!" James yelled.

"Yes we are" Remus said nonchalantly.

"You are my boys and that's final." I sat down next to Sirius and he immediately kissed my forehead. "What are you reading?"

"The usual. Trying to figure out concealment charms for the map and to see if we aren't missing any steps in becoming animagi."

"Remind me to have a chat with Minnie soon."

"Why?" He raised his eyebrows at me.

"Just remind me to do so. For now, it's nobody's business. Don't worry about it sweetheart." I kissed his cheek. He nodded and focused on the book again. "Hey Moony, remember the thing we talked about a couple of weeks ago?"

"Yeah. What happened?" He handed the map to Peter and made his way towards me. "Did they talk about it again?"

"Yep. So, do you mind?"

"Not at all. Just don't get caught and we'll be okay." I nodded and stood up.

"I'm gonna go and talk to Minnie before I forget. See you all later!"

"Professor, are you busy?" I asked once I entered the classroom.

"Not at all. Everything okay, Miss Potter?" She offered me a seat in front of her. "Biscuit?"

I took one and ate it quickly.

"Everything is okay, Professor. I just have a few questions. You're the only teacher I trust and I know you have our best interest at heart."

"I'm flattered that you trust me. Tell me what's going on."

"I've heard conversations in my House and it's not the usual gossip. They're talking about the attacks on the muggles and how things are going to change for everyone very soon. It's mostly the sixth and seventh years that say these things. They also mention something about a Dark Wizard but they won't say it's name. I'm worried Professor. I worry about the younger students and for myself. Lately, I haven't felt very safe in my dorm and spend most of my nights in the sofa or not sleeping and I think it's starting to affect my grades." I poured out my heart to her nervously. She only nodded and handed me another biscuit.

"Well, I'll make sure to keep a close ear for those conversations. I appreciate that you had the courage to come to me and tell me these things. And yes, your lack of sleep has been affecting your grades lately. You always get Outstandings but in my class you have been getting Acceptable. Is something else bothering you?" McGonagall asked me concerned and I shrugged.

"Just a lot on my mind, I guess. Pretty much everything has been keeping me up at night lately. And on top of that, I try to keep my twin brother in check." I chuckled at this.

"Yes, Mr. Potter is quite reckless when he wants to be. Well, I can't help much but you're always in the Gryffindor house with your friends. I suppose it would be okay if you decide to stay for a while whenever you feel uneasy. I will talk to the Fat Lady and let her know that you will be going there if and only if you feel extremely uneasy and need the comfort of your brother. Do I make myself clear, Miss Potter?"

"Yes. Thank you for everything, Professor McGonagall." She nodded and dismissed me. I took another biscuit and left her office in search for my boys.

...

"Fortuna Mayor" I whispered to the Fat lady.

"A Slytherin knows the password? This is outrageous!" She was about to scream but I shushed her.

"I'm Jade Potter. Professor McGonagall was going to talk to you about me? I'm here to see my twin." She nodded in understanding and finally let me in. I walked up the stairs and into the boys dorms. "What are you four doing awake at this hour?"

"Jade, what the hell are you doing here?" Peter asked.

"Don't worry. McGonagall gave me permission. I don't feel safe in my common room and she's going to let me sleep here as longs as James is around." I sat on what I assumed was James' bed. "What are you boys doing?"

"Concealment charms. We've finally got them, sunshine. All we need is the front page and a few extra details and the map is good to go. Here, try it out." Sirius handed me the map smiling. I took it and pulled out my wand.

"I solemnly swear that I am up to no good" I tapped the map and it opened to reveal everything and everyone. "You did the names!"

"Yep. Moony and I did them a few days ago. Now close it." James said eagerly and sat down next to me.

"Mischief managed." I tapped the map again and everything on it disappeared. "Merlin's ballsack! You boys are geniuses. I'm so proud!"

"Couldn't have done it without you, Jade. You're the one who came up with the idea after all. We'll finish it properly once you give it a once-over and we officially become animagi." Peter said smiling. I nodded and leaned on James.

"I couldn't sleep."

"I figured. Nightmares again?" I nodded. "What happened now?"

"The usual. Woke up a crying mess and made my way here. Can I stay the night?" I asked the boys yawning.

"Of course, Jade. I'm sure Sirius won't mind." Remus nudged Sirius who started to blush.

"There's no spare bed for you." Peter pointed out.

"I'll bunk with James or something. I just don't want to go back to the dungeons right now."

"You can bunk with Sirius tonight. I promise I won't make a fuss." James whispered to me. I looked at him surprised. "I know how bad the nightmares get and I know that you were going to do that at some point tonight so it's fine by me as kings as he keeps his hands where I can see them and no funny business."

"Thanks, Bam Bam. You're the best." I hugged him.

"I try. Now go. His bed is the one next to mine on the left side." I nodded and moved towards the bed and laid down.

"Sunshine, that's my bed." Sirius chuckled as the rest of the boys were getting ready for bed.

"I know. Take a wild guess, Padfoot." I smirked. He looked at me surprised and then at James who nodded.

"Hands where I can see them Padfoot and we'll get along nicely." James smiled and laid down on his bed. "I'll be checking on you at random times during the night just to be sure." And with that he closed the curtain and went to sleep.

Sirius smiled like a kid on Christmas and jumped on the bed and pulled me closer to him making us lay down.

"I could get used to this." He closed the curtain and pulled me with even closer.

"We've slept like this before so it's not new." I laughed and laid my head on his chest.

"Three times and it's not enough." He played with my hair and I hugged him tighter. "Nightmare was that bad huh?"

"Yep. I don't want to talk about it right now. I just want to try and sleep. Merlin knows I need it." I yawned and closed my eyes. Sirius grabbed my chin and forced me to look at him.

"I know. I get nightmares too believe it or not. But when you're ready to talk, I'm here okay? I'll always be here." I nodded and he leaned down to kiss me. "Good night, sunshine. I'll see you in the morning."

"Good night, Padfoot. I'll see you in the morning too." He kissed me again and we fell asleep in each other's embrace.

I'll always be here too, Sirius. Forever and always.
