"Guys, it's getting worse. Look at this." I threw the newspaper on the table. "Fifteen dead, three sent to Azkaban and five sent to St. Mungo's with permanent brain damage. What the hell is this?"

"It's a war, thats what it is." Peter mumbled and looked at the headlines. "I thought it was going to be more, in my opinion."

"Another war!? But we're just now getting on track after Grinderwald. The Ministry can't afford another war." James said. "Did Dad say anything in his letters?"

"Yeah, he said to stay put and to not do anything stupid. That last part was directed at you, Bam Bam." I said trying to lighten the mood. "When will this end?"

"When the bald rat is dead, Vix." Remus said and took the newspaper from me. "This doesn't look good for the Ministry. They're trying to make it seem like everything is okay."

"Fuck the Ministry, I say. They're experts for trying to cover stuff up and miserably failing. And who the hell is Rita Skeeter? Merlin's beard, she's a sight." Sirius said in disgust.

"Stop reading the gossip columns, Padfoot." I hit his arm.

"I'm not! But it's just her face. She has the face of a liar. And liars don't have pretty faces." Sirius shrugged. "Do you think the rat is recruiting students here?"

"I don't doubt it honestly. I heard Nott talking to a few Ravenclaws the other night and he mentioned his name." I said and looked at Regulus. "I also found Nott talking to Reg the other night and had to step in for like the fifteenth time. That's the reason I haven't spent so much time in the lion's den."

"Thanks for taking care of him, sunshine. It really means a lot." Sirius said and kissed my hand. "You're the best."

"No problem, Pads. I really enjoy bugging the living shit out of Nott." I smirked.

"The main question is: what's going to happen to us?" Remus asked.

"We stick together. No matter what." I said and looked at my boys. "We promise?"

"We promise." They all said in unison.

"Good. Because I'm not being separated from my boys that easily."

"Bam Bam, what are you doing outside of Minnie's office again?" I crossed my arms and sat down next to him and Sirius sat on the floor.

"You know why, now shut up." James mumbled.

"I'm just offended that you got in trouble without me." Sirius laughed and leaned back.

"I was stopping Wormy from accidentally hitting Flitwick with an ink balloon. Minnie caught me with the balloon and well, you can see the rest." James shrugged. "I'll probably get a week of detention and a few house points taken."

"What about quidditch?" I asked.

"Minnie won't let me go. I'm the best seeker in Gryffindor. I'm the only chance that the lions will have in defeating the snakes." James said and put an arm around me.

"Mr. Potter, you may enter." We heard McGonagall call to James.

"Good luck." Sirius smirked.

"Shut up, Padfoot."

"JADE AMELIA POTTER!" Lily yelled throughout the hallways.

"LILY, I'M IN DETENTION!" I yelled as I finished polishing yet another trophy with Sirius.

"I don't fucking care. Why are you in detention again?" Lily finally found us and sat down in the floor next to me.

"Kitchen raid with Sirius again. And we were out in the forbidden forest after curfew." I shrugged and handed Sirius the trophy polish.

"Why am I not surprised? Let me guess, date night without your brother knowing?" Lily laughed as we nodded.

"We can't catch a break. Honestly Evans, give him the time of day long enough for Jade and I to have a proper day alone together."

"In your dreams, Sirius." Lily smirked.

"Why are you here again, Lils? I mean, I love your company and all but you don't come here without a motive." I leaned back and raised my eyebrow at her.

"Frank is about to ask Alice for Hogsmeade!" Lily squealed and held my hands. "Our plan worked!"

"But there's no quidditch yet. The tournament starts in two weeks." I said and stood up excitedly.

"Right, I didn't tell you that one. Sorry. Marls and I cornered Frank and used your method of aggressive conversations and it worked! We also helped him come up with a plan and we need you there. Same goes to you, Sirius. Everybody is in their hiding places."

"What about Filch?" Sirius asked standing up also.

"We need help from our favorite poltergeist. PEEVES!" I yelled. "I NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE!"

Peeves emerged out of nowhere and gave Sirius a scare.

"Merlin, I hate it when you do that Peeves. You're going to kill me one of these days." Sirius held his chest.

"What do you need, Jade?" Peeves asked.

"I need you to drive Filch insane. Sirius and I are leaving detention early. We have business to take care of." Peeves smirked and nodded in understanding.

"Will do, Jade. If you see Baron, don't send him towards the Great Hall or the Ravenclaw Tower. That's where I plan on sending Filch."

"You got it Peeves! Thanks again!" I grabbed Sirius' hand and Lily took us to the courtyard.

"You two are basically monkeys and like climbing trees, so that's where you'll be. Climb up that tree and stay quiet. Alice and Frank don't know." We nodded and saw the boys hiding behind bushes and the fountain in the middle.

"Ladies first." Sirius said.

"You just want to look at my ass." I rolled my eyes and started to climb with the help of Sirius.

"If I wanted to look at your ass, I would just stare at you when you wear those black sweats." He shrugged and made sure that I was properly sitting before he started climbing also.

"I regret buying those in muggle London."

"I don't regret you buying them." Sirius smirked and put an arm around me. "Frank is coming, let's shut up now."

"Is she near?" Frank asked Lily and Marlene.

"No, but Dorcas went to get her. This is going to be great, Frank. Did you do it?" Lily asked and looked at me nodding discreetly. I nodded and took out my camera. Frank took out the flowers and I smiled sweetly.

"Now, I kinda want to redo our first date, sunshine." Sirius whispered to me.

"Shhh. And no redos. Our first date was perfect for me and that's final. Now shush, I see Alice."

Dorcas was covering Alice's eyes.

"Dorcas, what the hell?" Alice laughed and Frank looked more nervous than ever. Lily and Marlene tan to hind behind the tree that Sirius and I were on.

"Camera ready, Jade?" Marlene asked and I nodded. "Good. We're gonna need it."

Dorcas removed her hands and Alice immediately blushed when she saw Frank holding a bouquet of flowers.

"H-hi Frank." Alice muttered shyly. Frank smiled and handed her the flowers.

"I've been meaning to ask, Alice. And I believe this is long overdue. Do you want to go to Hogsmeade with me next week?" Alice smiled and wrapped her arms around him.

"YES!" Alice yelled and we all moved from our hiding places. Sirius helped me down the tree and we all ran towards Frank and Alice.

"FINALLY!" We all yelled in unison.

"It's about damn time, you two. You have no idea the work we've put into this. This has been two years in the making." I said and pointed my camera at them. "Absolutely adorable!"

"It's about time this happened. We've been desperate." James said and put an arm around Frank. "Now we won't have a loping Frank during quidditch."

"I didn't mope!" Frank protested.

"Yes you did!" We all said.

"Now Sirius and I will have competition about who's Hogwarts cutest couple." I smirked.

"Nah, we'll give that title to them. You and I will be Hogwarts sexiest and most aesthetic couple." Sirius laughed.

"What is the aesthetic!?" Peter asked.

"The world may never know."
