Within the next few days, Rin had almost given up on you. You wouldn't wake up. Your body seemed to have shut down, from what you looked like. Your face was pale, almost lifeless, your soft (S/C) skin was cold, your eyes remained closed and your breathing remained very flat. Rin, however, couldn't see you were improving. The rest was actually rejuvenating you. It was healing you from your fever. Not completely, but almost. Also, when you woke that morning in your own bed, you noticed, something was wrong.

(F/N)'s POV

When I slowly opened my eyes, the energy in my body seemed to suddenly rush back in. I felt I could actually move around for once. The pain was gone, and everything seemed new and fresh.. Everything except for the object you saw sleeping next to you. Rin was sleeping, but, just as I had been, he was pale, and his skin was freezing. I was covered by a blanket, while Rin's bare skin was exposed to the freezing cold. My house was always cold.. but he always had problems with the cold.

I carefully poke his shoulder, and almost immediately his eyes snap open. His eyes had circles under them, and his eyes were also bloodshot. "(F/N)..?" he says really quietly as his eyes fill with tears. "I..I didn't think.. y-you'd ever.. w-wake up.." He stuttered as he started crying, moving and hugging me gently. His cold body was pressed against mine. I could feel it. The emotion that he felt. I missed him too. He has been a figment of my imagination while I was sleeping. Now.. he's here.. finally..

I stuff my face into his chest, actually attempting to warm him up. He didn't seem to get any better however as he continued hugging me.. I felt bad..

A little while later, he moves away from me and sits up, holding his head up with one of his hands, closing his eyes as the sleeve to his shirt rolled down his arm. There was something there.. something.. that I wasn't prepared for.. A visible red line, that seemed to be a cut that was healing up, about to turn into a scar. My eyes widened a bit as I slowly sat up, my bottom lip quivering a bit. "R-Rin..? W-What is that on your arm..?" I ask quietly, trying to remain calm. He looks over at me, his eyes were dark, yet he smiles a little, shaking his head and rolling his sleeve back to cover his wrist. "It's nothing (F/N).. " He chuckles as he said it.

"Rin.. Please.. tell me.. You promised to tell me everything didn't you? No matter what..? Even if it was nothing.." I mumble, slowly crawling over to him again, lifting my hand up to unroll his sleeve again. He didn't resist and allowed me to. However, when I did, I noticed there were other little small scars around the large red one. My eyes widened as I slowly moved away. "Y-You.. wanna leave me..? Y-You.. want.. to leave..?" Rin's eyes look exactly the same as he sat there, smiling weakly, shaking his head silently, not saying a word.

I don't understand anything right now.. Is something messing with his head..? Does he want to die..? Too many questions to even ask myself..

Rin stood, grabbing his cellphone, and tosses it to me. I looked at him with confusion. "Call Nora.. I.. can't talk right n-now.." He says, the odd smile still on his face, as he stood. "Shower.." he mumbles as he walks out of my room.

I opened the phone and called Nora quickly, not understanding anything.

"Hello?" A tired voice says. "Rin? Is that you?" she asks quietly.

"N-No.. It's me.. (Y/N).. Rin told me to call you for answers.. For answers to what's wrong with Rin.."

"Oh.. (F/N).. Rin.. he is.. having a really hard time right now.. Not only was you being unconscious for days hurting him.. his past began to catch up with him.. and.. someone.. confronted him.. And made him feel absolutely terrible about life.. about having you.. Making him feel bad about not being able to protect you from those boys.. This guy clouded his mind with lies. Absolute nonsense.. and.. to make it worse.. he said he was a friend of Rin and yours.. "

"A-A friend of mine..? W-Who..? Who could it be..?"

"That.. would be..-"

Once I heard the name uttered out of Nora's mouth, I felt as if a large boulder crushed me.. How.. How could it.. b-be him..?
