Terrance's POV

"Did we get get the repellents?" Jamila asked when Nigel was grunting when he put put the tents into the car.

"What's more important is the food and luckily, we bought them." Esther smiled and everyone scoffed.

"Your food addiction is not good for your own good." Silas said and she pouted adorably. I growled when she hugged his arm briefly.

"Let's just get this shit over with." I interrupted.

"Talking about shit, did we get the shovel and spade?" Esther asked panicking.

"Dang! she's not wrong there." Shark added and we got them. After we finnished packing up, we got into the car and set off.

"Guys, we're going on hiking after we set our tents right?" Esther chirped and they all muttered 'Yeah, yeah'

"But we'll split when we get there." Silas explained further.

"This is going to be fun!" Esther squealed. I just sat there, clenching and unclenching my jaw every second.

"Dude make sure you don't make us crash." Nigel said beside me. I looked through the mirror only to see Esther and Silas chatting with the rest and a pang went into my chest.

We pulled up at the camp site and started bringing out the items we bought whiles Esther was singing.

"I say, I say, I think I hate School, I do, I do,

I think I hate School, heh, I do, I do."

"Esther shut the fuck up " Jamila grumbled and I couldn't agree more.

"Oof!" Esther sighed.

"Let's set out tents." Silas reminded and we started to do so.

As I was setting mine, I watched Esther who was energetically helping her friends set their tent and I quickly looked away when Jamila caught me staring at Esther.

I remember when I was young, my mum used to make me watch her set up a tent and it came out pretty handy. In no time, I set up my tent and the others did the same.

"You girls sure you can go on your own?" Nigel asked the girls who decided to go on their own.

"Of pffff, we can handle it." Esther laughed lightly.

"Ah, well." Sharderaque shrugged.

We decided to split, I go with the boys and Esther goes with with the girls. I went into my tent to get a few a things and when I came out my they had already left gone and the only left was Esther.

"What are you still doing here?" I asked.

"Oh, just digging a hole." She explained.

This girl seems serious about shit.

"Do you know where the guys went?" I asked.

"They passed the hole in dug." She answered sarcastically. "How am I supposed to know?" She asked and I glared at her.

I ambled past her to go the hike.

"Whoa, Wait! Are going to just leave me here?" She whined running to me.

"Well, duhh?" I deadpaned.

"What's if a bear attacks me?" She panicked.

"I don't care and in fact, I might personally feed you to it." I informed and she gasped.

"Well, I'm not gonna allow you to leave me here." She walked over to my side.

"Then just shut up and walk." I warned.

Well she did shut up for a while but she began singing.

She said swaying her hips. I got so annoyed, I grabbed her shoulders and turned her to face me. I bended my head to her height till our faces her too close.

"Shut the fuck up." I gritted. The tension between us was so thick I couldn't help but look at her lips she was biting. I let go of her with much difficulty and we continued to hike.

We hiked and hiked and hiked and I didn't feel tired at all, but for Esher, I didn't know. Anytime I glanced down at her, I gulped because her top was clinging to her chest, making her bra visible whiles some trendils  of her hair was sucking to her neck. I wanted to grab her and kiss her so bad and ran my hand through her hair.

Damn my hormones.

"Aaaah!" She yelled and moved to my back.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked when she held my arms from behind.

"ANTS! THEY'RE FUCKING ANTS! AAAH!" She screamed and jumped onto my back.

"What the fuck? You're just scared of ants?!" I growled annoyed.

"Oh Man! God knows how many other scary creatures here. "She lamented. "Walk Terrance! Walk! In fact run!"

"What the hell? With you on my back?" I asked.

"Dude, I don't care whether I'm heavy or light, I ain't getting down, I feel scared, shitless." She was not wrong there.

She wasn't heavy though, and she was not light either so I groaned and supported her on my back by her bare tanned legs because she was wearing a pair of denim shorts and a tank top.

"Oh fuck." I murmured when she slipped her arms under mine. We continued walking and she started humming again.

Is she mad? Someone tell me!

She stopped and my breath hitched when I felt her hand in my hair.

"Oh my God, so soft and fluffy." She said gently pulling it making almost like a massage.

Damn, she was good at it almost like-

"What are you doing?" I asked stifling a moan.

"Uhh, I'm loving your hair?" She deadpaned fully massaging it.

"Stop. What. You're. Doing." I gritted not to bite out a groan I was keeping.

"No!" She whined still holding my hair.

I let go of her legs and just as I was about to grip her wrist, she quickly wrapped her legs around my torso and her arms around my neck, making my breath hitch more.

Ignoring the fact that she that she had little effect on me, I continue to walk.

"Don't touch my hair again." I warned.

"Okay I won't. " And she brushed her lips on the crook of my neck.

Damn they were so soft and I wondered how it would be if they were on mine.

Dear Mind, you need to be filtered.

"Let's do twenty questions!" She suggested.

"No." I declined even though I had a lot to ask her.

"Oh please.." She whined.

"Please."

"No!"

"Pl-"

''I said no." I declined.

"I promise I won't ask you any personal question." She promised.

"Still, I say no." I declared.

"Ugh! You're no fun!" She muttered. "I guess I'll continue singing." She sighed.

"Fine! You ask!" I gave in grumbling.

"Thank you! OK ok, how does Estrella look like?" She asked and I fought the urge to laugh.

"She's tall and beautiful." I lied. Estrella doesn't exist but I don't trust Esther because she can tell my dad I have no girlfriend and besides, there's only one person I know as beautiful and that's Esth-

What?!

"I wish I was tall." She murmued laying her head in my back.
