You know, there are some points in time when I want to resent you. Resent you for all that you've put me through.
Though you've done so much for me, I can't tell whether it was from the heart...guilt... or both, but for that, I can't resent you.
If I did, I may have a peace of mind from the negative you bring, but a part of me will also be empty.
A part of emptiness that will never be filled unless you're there.
So, I'll just deal with you. We're family after all and I can't just bail on you.
"Blood is thicker than water," they say.
And I made a promise to never let anything come between us.
