Next day

Avni woke up and frowned finding herself in her room. She smiled knowing neil would have done this. Her mind recalled the conversation they had previous day. Him promised her to stay forever by her side this and that was enough to make her happy.

She decided that she would never come in between his and juhi's life. She respected his feelings and he has full rights to live his life as per he want. He has the right to choose his life partner of his choice. Then what about her? She would never be able to give her heart to someone else. She had been always wanted to feel the feeling called love but she isn't fortunate enough to live it with the love of her life.

She Sighed and got down from the bed. After getting ready she started decipher the books. Their exams were approaching and she had been feeling anxious thinking she would not do good this time but she didn't think much.

Neela came to her room and saw her baccha who was fully lost in her books. She smiled and moved near her. Avni looked up feeling her presence and hugged her waist wishing her morning.

Neela: good morning baccha. Kam se kam breakfast toh karlo, baad mein padhayi kar lena.

Avni: yes maa just 2 minutes

She again got back to her work while her phone pinged with Neil's message. She opened it and replied him. Neela looked at her watching her daughter's smiling face. Don't know what she has in her heart about neil, she thought.

Other side in Neil's room. He woke up and got ready for the studies. He had some doubts so he messaged avni for the answer and after that they continued chatting till sometime. His mother yelled his name from downstairs stating his friend has came to meet him. Neil frowned hearing this and told his mother to send his friend to his room.

After sometime he looked up from his phone and saw juhi coming towards his direction. He stood up smiling awkwardly.

Neil: um hi

Juhi: hi. Did I disturb you? I am really sorry for coming without informing you.

Neil: no that's ok. Come sit.

She nodded and settled down on couch and he sat across her on the chair. She noticed his books lying near the couch.

Juhi: sorry tumhe disturb kar diya tum padhayi kar rahe the

Neil: not really, I was chatting with avi. So you here I mean

Juhi: haa vo kal jo kuch bhi hua uss wajah se I was very disturbed.

His attention shifted to his phone when he saw avni's message and got busy in replying her not paying attention to juhi. Juhi noticed this. Feeling his unusual behaviour she got sad. All these days he was after her flirting and making her smile by his cheesy talks and today he was not sparing her a glance even.

Juhi: neil

He raised his brows, his eyes still glued to his phone.

Juhi: mai kuch keh rahi thi

Neil: haa just 2 minutes

She thought something and stood up. Moving near him, she snatched his phone and ran away towards the balcony. Neil was still registering what just happened. He went behind her saying her to give his phone back she started to giggle and ran around the whole balcony making neil to be rushed behind her.

Juhi: de dungi pehle meri baat suno

He Sighed and crossed his arms saying her to continue.

Juhi: neil I don't want to ruin the bond we share. I respect you and our friendship. I hope you are not angry with me for yesterday and

Neil: juhi it's not your fault. I completely respect your decision and I am not angry so don't think like that. Its just that my mood is completely off now that's why I wasn't paying attention to you. Now give my phone avi must be waiting for my message

She gave it to him and went from there although half heartedly. She was getting habitual to his presence around her and now that he ignored her she felt so bad. Neil shook his head and replied to avni.

Other side avni was waiting for Neil's reply when she had asked him something. Neela was still there arranging her messy wardrobe. Hearing some giggling sounds both avni and neela looked at side and saw juhi running and neil after her.

Avni looked at them and then at her mother. She was just praying that what if her mother would ask any questions now but she didn't making avni relieved. After sometime neela went from there saying her to come soon for breakfast. Avni nodded and her mind drifted back to juhi and neil. She smiled slightly and went back to her work.

After 3 months

Avni was pacing to and fro in her room biting her nails anxiously. Neil was also there. He shook his head looking at her and grabbed her hand pulling her beside him.

Neil: chill yaar its just a result. Moreover you will be a top scorer I know.

Avni: still jab tak result nahi aa jaata mujhe chain nahi milega. Please jaldi dekh.

She said intertwining her fingers praying to God. Neil chuckled and entered her exam enrollment number first. She had her eyes tightly closed freaking out badly. Neil tapped her shoulder saying her to open her eyes and see her result. She opened her eyes slowly and squealed in happiness seeing her marks. She was more than happy and satisfied knowing her hardwork paid off.

Neil opened his arms grinning widely and she just crashed herself into him hugging him tightly. Neil fell back on the bed with her on him and laughed wrapping his arms around her more tightly.

After a minute they were still in hug with closed eyes feeling pure ecstasy and warmth of each other. Avni opened her eyes and pulled away from him. Her strands lingered on his face making him smile. He removed them gently and pinned them behind her ear slowly. Avni's heartbeat quickened with the closeness and she got up immediately not meeting his eyes. An awkwardness prevailed in the room.

Neil cleared his throat and jumped beside her holding her hand.

Neil: now get ready to fly to London

He said smiling. Avni frowned hearing that then recalled their conversation. They had decided together that they would go London for further studies and their parents also had been agreed to them.

Avni looked at him then lowered her eyes not saying anything. Neil found it fishy about her behaviour. He narrowed his eyes at her and shifted close to her.

Neil: avi what is running in your mind? Spill it out now.

She upped her lashes and decided to tell him at that moment.

Avni: I don't want to go London. I will continue my studies here.

Neil looked at her shocked and shook his head.

Neil: no you are lying right? Avi we have decided together that me, you and juhi will go together and our parents also agreed with us. Now what happened?

Avni: but now I don't want it. I have changed my mind.

Neil: avni you can't do that. You have to come with me that's it

Voice: you would not decide that for avni

They both turned around hearing the voice. It was ashish who had listened their conversation. He was also shocked hearing from avni that she doesn't wanted to go with neil but was happy also that avni would stay here in front of his eyes.

He went near them and looked at neil.

Neil: but uncle you also know that avi had been wanted to go, then why she is denying now? Is it you who had said no to her?

Ashish: no. Why would I?

Neil looked at avni pleading her to say something.

Avni: papa ne kuch nahi kaha neil. Ye mera decision hai.

Ashish: sun liya? Ab bhi kuch kehna hai?

Neil went from there clenching his jaw after sparing her a glance. Avni looked on his retreating figure and thought.
