When the person you love the most is in pain, your heart feels like being stabbed multiple times.

Gauri was sitting on floor,holding him who was unconscious. His knuckles were bleeding, hair were messed up and pale face with its charm almost drained out. He looked very weak. Gauri's heart cried seeing him in such condition.
She tried to get him up but in vain. After struggling for few minutes finally she managed to put him on his side of bed. Taking out the first aid she dressed his wounds, still crying with tears.

"We will conquer this together." She mumbled sobbing , holding his injured hand .

She looked around the room which was all messed up, things were broken, floor had droplets of his blood over it. "I have to clear this mess before he wakes up." She wiped her tears away and cleared the room and other places. Everything looked like earlier one now. All beautiful and perfectly set.
She moved towards the mirror, and saw her bruises over her neckline. Applying the ointment, she sniffed in pain. Her hands had red bruises like finger marks over them. Her tears flowed continually, she felt choking upon her emotions.

The physical pain she was crying for, could be healed with time but what about the wounded heart ?
Seeing him in such miserable condition, her heart breaks into many pieces. But she have to stay strong , may be not for herself but for him.

It was dawn by now, everything seemed so peaceful as if nothing happened last night.
Their room had it's dim lights on, as darkness would make it worse for him.

Gauri was into deep slumber, while Omkara moved a little bit in pain. He opened his eyes slowly as he felt pain in his head. Trying to get up, he flinched a little more as his injured hand ached with pressure of his weight. "Aghh!! This hurts." He mumbled. While looking at his wounds he tried recalling what must have happened? Then looking around the room keenly he saw everything was fine.
He looked at gauri and sensed nothing strange. But if nothing happened why is his hand injured?
Why his eye lids felt heavy? Why is he having bruises over his arm?

He tried to get up but suddenly felt a sharp pain in his head. Holding his head he closed his eyes. Next moment he felt something wet in his hands. He looked at it and saw faint scars of blood.

Wait what? How did this happen? Did someone hit him at his head?

"Let me dress it up..... Ehhh!!" He said pressing the cut he had on the backside of his ear. It started bleeding little more. Somehow getting up, grabbing the first aid, he went inside the washroom. He applied ointment to the bruises over his neck and put a bandage at his wound behind his ear.
"She shouldn't see this one." He muttered .

He came out and saw gauri wasn't there. She had woken up already .

He sat down gently on the couch resting his head back with closed eyes. His body ached like anything. He couldn't even move properly .
It was just a moment he closed his eyes, he heard a beautiful voice again. "Hume tumse pyar kitnaa...." He smiled seeing the source of the melody.

Gauri... His gauri entered the room with two cups of coffee humming the song. But something was changed in her. But what?

She came sat down, handing over him his coffee mumbling "Good morning Omkara."
"Good morning beautiful" He replied smiling.

" Have your morning meds Mr. Wait I'll get them" Gauri took three tablets for him. And gave them in his hands.

"Aa... Meds..." He spoke in a weird manner. Looking here and there as if he was upto something suspicious. Gauri was about to sit just then he started coughing.

"Get... Me... Wa... Water." He said making her rush to get water . As gauri's back faced him he suddenly took out a tablet from his pocket and dropped it in her coffee while the meds gauri gave him,he hid them inside this pocket.

"Omkara wa..." Gauri's words didn't complete as she saw him sipping his coffee.
"You okay? " She asked looking at him confused, as he was coughing a while ago but now seemed all fine.

"Ahh yes... I sipped coffee with meds... Before u could get water " He quickly replied covering up.
While gauri was still confused but she shrugged away the thoughts and sat beside him smiling.
She drank the coffee and didn't realise what was actually wrong with it.

Within a few time gauri felt her head heavy, she sat down on bed holding her head.
'What happened gauri? ' Omkara said as he saw her  ,  he didn't look tensed as if he already knew this was gonna happen.
'I'm feeling.... Sleepy... My head... ' without even completing she fell into deep sleep.
Covering the her with the blanket, Omkara ruffled her hair for a few moments.

'I should be back before she wakes up.' He muttered looking at her... And left.

It was evening by now. Gauri woke up and was shocked to see the time as she realised for how long did she sleep.

The first thing she searched for was ~Omkara
Getting off the bed throwing the blanket, she rushed outside the room and started calling his name.
'Omkara...'  She saw here and there but couldn't see him. 'God!! How did i fell asleep for so long? '  she said irritated.

'Omkara!!'  She called him again. Her eyes were moistened already as she was scared by now.
Just then she saw him coming to her. She felt a sigh of relief.

'Hey beautiful! What happened? ' He asked keeping the snacks tray on the dining table.
She didn't say anything just hugged him with sudden force making him stumble a little.

'Gauri? ' he said again trying to pull away.

'Where did you go?  I was so worried.' she said still not leaving him.

"Worried... But why? " Omkara said pulling away from her a little , cupping her face. As his fingers touched her nape of neck she winced  'ahh', as her bruises got brushed with his hands. She was hiding them somehow from him for long.
While he looked confused and worried. He bent a little towards her in order to see what hurt her suddenly making her sniff.

'Gauri... What happened... Are u injured? Show me.'  He said putting her hair behind her shoulder.
Gauri hesitated. " No... Nothi... Nothing... I just... Umm ...." She tried covering up holding his hand, so that he doesn't see her bruises.

He'll go crazy if he gets to know what happened last night. She thought.

"No.... Show me what is it gauri? " He said sternly, while gauri tried to stop him. She ended up holding his injured hand tightly making him back off , murmuring in pain as his knuckles bandage showed patches of fresh blood again. His wounds got hurt and were bleeding.

"Oh shit!! Omkara...I'm sorry...... Aghh! it's bleeding" Gauri quickly held his hand and started gently patting him to sooth his pain. She took him inside their room and made him sit down .

'Leave my hand... Tell me... What happened to you? ' omkara chided her away being irritated and worried for her at same time. Gauri glared at him angrily.

'Sit properly, dont move.... Omkara ....let me dress your wound' gauri said as she held his hand making him sit in front of her.
Gauri's eyes were little red and puffy.

'You're not telling me... I know... Something happened'  he said in a serious tone,
making her look at him.
She feared of his reaction after he gets to know about what he did. Like everytime he'll punish himself and would create a ruckus again.

'Omkara.. It's noth... ' before she could complete, omkara cut her off saying "He came again? ....I did this... Right? I was the monster who hurt you!... Re... Reyhaan...."  he said as tears pooled up in his eyes, along with a great sense of rage inside him. He gently touched her hand which had his finger marks. He realised about everything after seeing the marks of nails at her neckline .

While gauri closed her eyes in disbelief.

'Sh... It wasn't your fault... You didn't do anything... Omkara are you listening? ' She tried to sooth him but in vain.

"Where else did i hurt you? Tell me... Where else did that monster hit you gauri... " He said gritting his teeth in anger while his hands turned into fists.
Next moment he threw the glass of water making gauri scared.
"I have asked you to stay away from me... Right? Then why do you always come to me... You know he could kill you" He shouted making her shiver in fear.

"I said ... You didn't do anything wrong.... It was Reyhaan not you..... You'll be fine... Relax Omkara."  Gauri held him by his shoulders still trying to solve everything with peace.

His face was red, his heart was racing like anything. He felt hurt and angry at same time. While gauri was trying to sooth him anyhow.
'You promised me you'll stay calm... Relax Omkara... Don't hurt yourself now... Please" She cried and his heart melted down seeing you her like this. That Reyhaan had hurt her already and now her Omkara couldn't see her in miserable condition. He closed his eyes to calm himself, taking a long breathe he mumbled " Sorry " to her.
