Ugine, now donned in a dark colored hood to hide his identity, climbed down the church before landing safely on the ground.

"Now I just need to get into the festival and get out without Master noticing me."

It seemed that he had made it just in time because right then music began playing and multiple performers filled the street.

"Come one come all," Sun Wukong the self proclaimed Faunus king yelled from the stage set up in the square, "the festival is about to begin."

Roman was led into his own private seat to view the show while Adam stood at attention next to him. However he couldn't help but keep his eyes peeled for the Faunus girl he had seen earlier.

"What's on your mind captain?" Roman asked.

Adam lowered the visor on his helmet, "nothing sir."

Ugine tried to make his way into the crowd but he kept getting pushed and shoved by dancers and clowns. One ended up knocking into him so hard that he fell into a tent.

He reached up to grab a curtain to steady himself but the material tore away easily revealing a girl that was getting dressed behind it.

"Hey!" She shrieked.

Ugine covered his eyes, "oh my gosh I'm so sorry.....I just...I-oh please forgive me."

The girl pulled a robe around herself, "it's fine. You just startled me that's all. You're not hurt are you?"

The fox Faunus moved his hands away from his eyes, "No. I'm fine. I'm really sorry Miss...uh..."

"Jennifer. But call me Jenni," the girl finished. She smiled showing a pair of wolf fangs.

"You're an abomination too?" Ugine asked.

Jenni got a puzzled look on her face, "What?"

However just then the sound of trumpets filled the air.

"Oh that's my cue. I gotta finish getting ready," Jenni said pushing Ugine out of the tent.

Ugine then realized that this whole time his hood had been down meaning that Jenni had seen his fox ears and not even once did she seem disgusted.

"Why didn't she laugh? Doesn't she realize I'm ugly?"

Sighing he made his way to the stage.

Sun stood there helping a clown who had just finished performing off stage, "and if you thought he was amazing folks you haven't seen anything yet, "prepare to see the amazing dancer Miss Jenni Opal."

He threw down a smoke bomb that released a cloud of purple smoke. When it cleared Sun had disappeared and Jenni was in his place. Except now she was wearing a gauzy blue top that showed off her stomach and a matching skirt. She also had a golden circlet on her head.

Roman noticed her and he felt his breath catch in his throat.

Adam meanwhile gasped as he watched the girl take the stage, "it's the girl from earlier. So Jenni's her name."

Jenni began doing a dance that involved several twirls and sways of her hips.

Roman, despite being entranced, scoffed, "look at that disgusting display captain."

Adam pushed his visor up to get a better view of the girl, "yes sir."

Jenni smirked and did several backflips before landing a foot away from Roman's seat. She then put her hands on his shoulders and leaned in close as if about to kiss him. But then she pulled his hat over his eyes before sending a wink Adam's way.

She finished her dance with more pirouettes and finally a split.

Everyone applauded and Jenni batted her eyelashes coyly.

Sun helped her up off the ground, "wasn't she great folks? Now it's time for the moment you've all been waiting for. When we crown our festival king!"
