Hazel POV:
( 1 year after Gus died ) I woke up not being able to breath. I couldn't scream or anything. So what I did was take a lamp and threw it across the room. My mom and dad came running in. I was gasping for air. My dad called 911 while my mom hit Philip over and over again trying to get him to work.

"Honey help is on the way." My dad said brushing my hair out of my eyes. I nodded. The ambulance came and I was put on a stretcher. They hooked me on to more oxygen but it wasn't enough. I passed out a few minutes later.

I woke up in a hospital room with my parents looking at me. I saw black spots in my vision. My mom ran over.
"Honey, I'm so sorry. Doctors say you aren't going to make it through the night." She cried into my hair. I hugged her back.

"Gus" I croaked. She smiled at me.

"Yes, Hazel. You'll see Gus in less then 24 hours." She told me. I smiled. I felt water filling my lungs as I began choking. My dad jumped up.

"DOCTOR!!!" He yelled over and over again. But it was too late. I felt myself slowly slipping away.

"Mom and dad I love you." I told them. Then the beeping on the heart monitor started beeping.

Hazels mom POV:
Then she was gone. I started sobbing. The doctors rushed in and did everything they could.

"I'm sorry ma'am. Hazels gone." She came over and gave my husband and I a hug. I sobbed all the way home.

We drove home from the funeral and just watched her favorite TV show over and over again. She's really gone. But she's not suffering and that's all that matters.

Caroline POV:
Gus was acting weird. He wouldn't make any contact with me except talking and eye contact. He was awkward around me and I don't know why. I said 'I love you' and he pretty much ignored me.

We were told to wait at heavens entrance where the new addition of our family would enter. There was a bright flash of light and a girl with short brown hair opened her green eyes. She was beautiful. I saw Gus's eyes brighten and fill with tears. Interesting. I couldn't keep the jealousy from boiling up inside me. ( 😂 I know there probably isn't jealousy in heaven but just roll with me here )

Gus POV:
There was a bright light then a girl with short hair opened her green eyes. Hazel. Hazel was here. But that mean she... no stop. She's here. My eyes brightened and filled with tears. She was really here. She stood up and her eyes widened and she smiled.
"HAZEL!" I yelled at the same time she yelled,
"GUS!"

Caroline POV:
I watched her stand up and smile at... Gus? He's my boyfriend. I scowled. ( 😂 ) then I heard a yell from Augustus and the girl. I looked back.
"HAZEL!"

"GUS!" They ran towards each other and hugged. She wrapped her legs around his waist and arms around his neck. She buried her face in the crook of his neck. He held her around the waist with his face buried in her shoulder. They both seemed to be crying. I'll admit I was a little jealous. Ok a lot. I walked over to them.

Gus POV:
I ran towards the love of my life and hugged her. She wrapped her arms and legs around me and sobbed into my neck. I cried into her shoulder. We both cried and laughed for 10 minutes. "I love you so so much, Augustus Waters." She said.

"I love you too so so much, Hazel Grace." I saw Caroline walk up to us.

Caroline:
Hearing him say it back made my blood boil.

Hazel:
I sobbed and laughed into his shoulder. "I love you so so much, Augustus Waters." I told him.

"I love you too so so much, Hazel Grace." He said.

"Gus put me down." I laughedOkay."

 "Okay."

"Okay." I smiled. He put me down and I grabbed his hand. Then a girl walked up to us.

Gus POV:
Caroline walked up to us.

"Hi Gus. Who's this? You know her?" She asked. I smiled down at Hazel. And noticed she didn't have an oxygen tank. I put a finger up to say 'one second' to Caroline.

"Hazel! You can breath!" I exclaimed. She smiled and looked up at me. 

"I know. It's weird getting used to it you know?" She said.

"Yah. I have both legs!" She looked down and nodded. I turned back to Caroline....

Cliffhanger!! 😂. I thought it was getting a little long. Part 3 coming.
