Augustus POV:
I opened my eyes and looked around. The sky was blue and there were clouds. There was golden roads. I blinked twice trying to figure out where I was. I looked down to see I had both legs. I felt my lower leg to see if it was real. It was. I smiled and laughed. Then I thought of Hazel Grace. I miss her so much. I looked around again and saw someone I thought I'd never see again. Well I knew I would I just didn't know when.

"Caroline?" I asked. She looked up at me and smiled. ( I don't remember what she looks like ) She had her long brown hair back and a healthy look.

"Gus!" She laughed. She ran up to me and hugged me. "I've been waiting for you!" She tried to kiss me but I pulled back. She looked at me questionably but shrugged it off. She grabbed my arm and pulled me forward. "Welcome to Heaven." She said. I looked around.

"Heaven? Oh ya I..." I trailed off not wanting to talk about it. She looked at me sadly.

"You don't have to talk about it." She said. She hugged me again. "I missed you." She breathed. I smiled.

"Me too" Not romantically but I did miss her.

"So.." She said looking around.

"So.." I replied. We kept walking till we stopped by a swing set. I almost cried on the spot. It looked just like Hazels before we sold it. We sat on the swings and talked about random things. For example, what she'd been doing here all these years and how long she waited for me.
Then this horn went off. ( IDK 🤷‍♀️)

"Come on. Dinner." She said.

We walked to this huge room with thousands of tables and millions of chairs. We sat down and prayed over our food.

After dinner we just walked around. I ran into a few of the other kids from Support Group. Caroline showed me where I'll sleep and we parted ways. I lay down and fell asleep. I dreamed of Hazel.

We were walking down the street holding hands. She was laughing at something I said
"You're such a dork." She laughed. "Stop. I need a break."

We sat down on the grass in front of her house. I rubbed her back as she caught her breath. She flicked the handle of her oxygen tank and then pointed at her stomach.

"You lungs suck at being lungs!" She scolded. I laughed and kissed the top of her head.

"Yes I'm the dork." I said sarcastically.

"Shut up." She gently pushed my shoulder. "Let's go inside." She offered. "Maybe watch a movie."

"Okay." I said.

"Okay." She replied.

"Okay." We said at the same time. We laughed and then I kissed her.

"I love you, Hazel Grace." I said as we pulled away. She smiled.

"I love you too, Augustus Waters." She grabbed my hand and the handle to her oxygen tank and walked through the door. We picked the movie, 'The Hunger Games' when I dropped the popcorn. "Gus!" Hazel laughed. After that we ate dinner with her parents. I was about to kiss her goodbye when I woke up.

I woke up, wishing that I hadn't, and got out of bed. Caroline was waiting for me outside.

"Man, Gus I thought you were going to sleep forever." My heart aches when I heard her say Gus. Hazel... She laughed rolling her eyes. She grabbed my hand tight so I couldn't pull away. She studied my face as I tried to look away. "Why have you been so awkward?" She asked. I shrugged. "Well I love you so you don't have to be. " she said. I didn't say it back because the truth is I've moved on from her. I love Hazel. She looked at me expectantly. I just sat down on the grass.

"Hailey!" She yelled and ran towards a girl around her age. They walked away talking.
—-line break to a year later—-
I went back to bed after a day of sitting and talking to people. Before I could drift off I heard an announcement. "Tomorrow we will have another person added to our family!" A voice boomed. I shrugged. Wonder who that could be.
Sorry that was so long. And I have no idea how heaven works so... ya sorry. I do not own the fault in our stars. Just Hailey. And that's the only time she's in this. Part 2 coming.
