[Location: Haven academy]

Emerald: NO!

As Yang runs by, Emerald tries to tackle her only to fail miserably. Mercury grabs onto her robotic arm only for it to become detached. She continues run until she jumps down to the entrance of the Haven vault, a wall of ice forming behind her to stop Emerald and Mercury. While all of this was happening, no one saw a dark mist fly into the vault down below. As it reaches the bottom, it made it just in time to see Cinder plummet to the depths while freezing solid by Raven. It flies after her before she makes it to the bottom. After it catches her, they are teleported out of the pit.

[Location: Mistral forest, a few minutes later]

Adam Taurus continues to run after his failure to destroy Haven academy. He takes a stop near a clearing to catch his breath. Out of nowhere, he hears a random voice.

You: Hey, Adam!

He pulls out his sword and scans the forest.

Adam: Who's there!!?

He looks around for a few seconds before suddenly looking up. At that very moment, a frozen Cinder lands right on top of his head. They both fall to the ground. Cinder remains intact, but Adam's head is crushed from the weight. Out of the forest, the Father walks over to lift up the Cindersicle and place her on his shoulder.

You: Yuno from Future Diary did the whole obsessive thing better than you did, Adam.

Satisfied with the results, he teleports to the castle where he will thaw out Cinder from her frozen trap.

[Location: Children's base]

Inside the main building, Salem is seated infront of the holo screen projecting Pastor Nichts, continuing to discuss a treaty. Over to the side, Velvet lets out a small yawn. Suddenly one of Salem's Seers floats over to her from the shadows, catching her attention.

Salem: Pardon me, Nichts, I need to take this.

Nichts: Of course, madam.

Turning to the Seer, Salem looks into it's orb and sees Leonardo Lionheart frantically moving around in his office. He looks up to see the other Seer floating towards him.

Salem: And where might you be going?

Leonardo: Uh, Your Grace! I was just looking for something.

Salem:... Leonardo, do you have something you wish to tell me?

Leonardo: It was Cinder! She altered the plan! Huntsmen showed up here! Qrow! Several students, one with the silver eyes! The White Fang attack, it was stopped! I don't know that they'll be able to recover the Relic... Your Grace, I can still be of assistance! If I leave now, I-I can avoid the authorities and come find you, I'll do whatever it takes!

Salem:...

Leonardo: Your Grace?...

After a second he raises his weapon only for the Seer to whip it off to the ground, disarming Leonardo. He cradles his arm and tries to make a run for the exit. The Seer lashes a tentacle at his left leg, tripping him on the floor.

Leonardo: Please, ma'am! I'll do anything! I can still be useful!

As he continues to beg, the Seer wraps more of it's tentacles around Leonardo, dragging him back.

Leonardo: Please! PLEASE!

The Seer raises one of it's tentacles and stabs it into Leonardo's back, close to his heart.

Leonardo: Please...

Another tentacle is then shoved into the base of his skull, immediately killing him.

Salem: Coward... Now, where were we?

She brings her focus back to the screen, continuing their conversation.

[Location: Mistral hotel]

After the battle at Haven academy, Ruby and her friends take a well deserved rest. All except Qrow. He is looking out a window while drinking from his flask. Suddenly his scroll starts vibrating in his pocket. He pulls out his scroll and checks who it is. One of his contacts spying on the Children in Mistral. All these years of trying to get info on them and he still doesn't know much about the Children. After scanning the text on the scroll, Qrow's eyes go wide with disbelief. He takes a big swig from his flask and runs to where Ozpin/Oscar is resting. He makes his way into the room and finds them.

Qrow: Wake up!

The sudden shout immediately wakes up Oscar.

Oscar: AAH!

Qrow: Kid, I need to talk to Ozpin.

Oscar: But why-

Qrow: Now! It's important!

After some hesitation, Oscar's body flashes green for a second.

Ozpin: "grunt" What is it, Qrow? It's the middle of-

Qrow: Salem is here!

Ozpin:... What did you say?

Qrow: Salem is here in Mistral, and is with the Children as we speak!

Qrow hands Ozpin the scroll, revealing it's contents. Ozpin's eyes widen from what he sees.

Oscar: 'AAAUUGH! My innocence!'

Ozpin: Good Lord, Qrow!

He hands the scroll back with discuss. Qrow grabs it with confusion. He looks at the screen and sees an ad for gay porn, a picture of a man's genitals takes up the entire screen. Qrow frantically taps out of the ad and hands it back to Ozpin. He looks over the pictures and notes from Qrow's contact.

Ozpin:... By the Gods.

Qrow: We need to act now.

Ozpin: Oh really? And what exactly do you think we should do? We are in no shape to deal with something like this after the academy!

Qrow: The Mistral police department. We convince them that the attackers from Haven academy are held up at their hideout with the others. With that much force, we can be able to stop Salem once and for all! We'll leave the kids out of this, we can handle it.

Ozpin:... If we do this, many lives will be lost.

Qrow: And if we don't do this, many more will be lost. You know this, Ozpin.

Ozpin: "sigh"... Very well. We leave immediately.

Qrow takes his leave to prepare himself. Ozpin looks back at the scroll and looks at one of the pictures that seems a bit corrupted. Standing next to Salem appears to be a tall human figure, covered entirely in static.

[Location: Children's base]

Velvet is now passed out on the chair as Salem and Nichts keep talking.

Nichts: Then we are at an agreement?

Salem: Yes. I look forward to working with you, Pastor Nichts.

Nichts: Indeed, Your Grace. Farewell.

Salem: Goodbye.

The holo screen shuts down, ending the call. Salem gets up and turns to the sleeping Velvet. She picks up a throw pillow and does exactly what you think, tosses it at Velvet's head. She jumps out of the chair with a fright as the pillow falls to the floor.

Salem: Oh good, you're awake. Come, Velvet, we are heading back to the castle-

Follower: Intruders!

Salem snaps her attention to the exit. Opening the door shows followers running around arming themselves. She sees Joshua making his way to a crowd.

Salem: What is the meaning of this?!

Joshua: The Mistral P.D. found our location! You must get back inside, ma'am!

Salem: I'm just going to pretend I didn't hear you tell me what to do. Velvet, get out here!

The hybrid rushes outside to Salem's side, ready for anything. Off in the distance, the site of a dozen airships comes into view. Just outside of the camp, several officers make there way with rifles. Both P.D. and followers keeping their weapons trained on one another.

Officer: This is the Mistral Police Department! Lay down your weapons, and surrender peaceful!

Besides the sound of the airship engines, there is only silence. Salem then raises her left hand and points it at one of the airships, a red ball of energy starts to form.

Officer: This is your last warning; Lay your weapons down and-

Suddenly a red ball of energy slams into one of the airships. It catches on fire and plummets into the forest, setting off an explosion.

Joshua: Open fire!

And just like that, all hell breaks loose. Both parties start shooting eachother, only with the police force armed with better equipment. Joshua pulls out his personal .44 AutoMag and starts shooting at the officers.

Joshua: Damn it, we're not prepared for this!

Salem: Speak for yourself, mortal.

Joshua turns to her and sees a large battle axe form in her hands.

Salem: Velvet, left or right?

Velvet extends her hand out and a holographic sword forms in her hand.

She grabs it by the hilt and rips it in two, charging to the right. Salem tilts her head to the side until an audible pop resonates from her neck and takes a brisk walk to the left, slinging her father's axe over her shoulder.

Joshua:... I have the most confused erection right now.

Without looking he whips his pistol to the side and shoots a charging officer in the head, dropping him on the spot.

[Location: Grimm castle, basement]

The Father sits on his couch as he tries to thaw out Cinder with a wireless hair dryer. So far, her right arm is free.

You: "groan" I should pop in a movie to pass the time...

Suddenly he turns off the hair dryer and looks off into space.

You:... Salem!

*bamf*

Without another word he teleports back to his daughter, leaving Cinder where she is.

[Location: Children's base]

As the night rages on, so does the battle. Salem blocks a barrage of bullets with the axe and slams it to the ground, sending a shockwave at her attackers. However, an officer from behind gets in a lucky shot in Salem's right shoulder before being mowed down by a follower.

Salem: Argh! Damn it!

She grabs her shoulder as black blood oozes out. A squad of officers are able to make there way and point their weapons at her.

Officer1: Freeze!

Officer2: What the hell is that?

Officer3: It's a Grimm! Shoot to kill!

Salem shuts her eyes as they open fire. The sound of bullets tearing through flesh resonates before they ceasefire... She feels none of the shots hit her though. As Salem opens her eyes, she sees something standing infront of her that has shielded her from harm... while holding a hair dryer.

Salem: Father!

Without even flinching from the maelstrom of bullets at his back, he raises a finger.

You: One second.

He presses a button on the hair dryer, turns around and points it at the firing squad.

Officer3: Is that a-

Without hesitation, he spews a stream of fire from the hair dryer and right at the confused officers. They are instantly consumed by the flames as they scream in pain, trying desperately to put themselves out but with no effort. The hair dryer lets out a few sparks before shutting off completely. He tosses it to the side as he extends his hand out to Salem.

You: Axe.

With no hesitation, Salem hands over the axe to it's rightful owner. As it is in his hand, he twirls the axe around with no problem in the slightest before bringing it up to his face.

You: Hello, Supplicium, my old friend.

He then throws the axe at a group of followers and officers. As it flies pass them, the axe slices through any officer in it's path while completely missing every follower. The Father walks over to the fight, reaching his hand out to catch his flying axe.

Salem: Oh, I need to learn how to do that.

She creates a demonic blade and rushes to another fire fight.

While the fight rages on, Ozpin/Oscar and Qrow observe the battle from high above from an airship. The two trying to find their target.

Ozpin: Any sign of her?

Qrow: Nothing so far... Wait! There she is!

He points over to a corner of the base, revealing Salem to be attacking a group of officers.

Ozpin: Fly the ship as close as possible without revealing our position. Prepare to pick me up if something happens.

Qrow: You're going alone?

Without answering him, Ozpin pulls out his cane and pulls down the trigger, extending the cane into a staff. A blade shoots out, transforming the cane into a scythe.

Ozpin closes his eyes and concentrates, the blade glows a faint green and remains as such.

Ozpin: This ends tonight.

He jumps off the airship and plummets to the battle below.

As the Father cleaves an officer in half, he turns around and sees Salem in the distance slicing through the enemy. As she fights on, he can't help but feel a sense of pride from raising such a magnificent daughter. Suddenly something falls from the sky and lands right behind her, creating a plume of dust around them. Before anyone could react, a scythe flies from the smoke and towards Salem.

As the blade slices through her neck, it is as if time has slowed down around the Father. He sees a small boy run off to a nearby ship flying in, but that does not hold his attention. He only focuses on the head of his daughter as it plummets to the earth with her body along with it. He slowly walks towards her body as the airship flies away. The sounds of the world no longer audible to him, just white noise. As he makes it to her motionless form, not believing what he is seeing, he extends his powers to try and find her spirit. Just the faintest sign to give him hope to save her... Nothing... Whatever that child had done to his little Salem has erased her from this world and the next, leaving behind a hollow vessel. He drops to his knees, releasing Supplicium to fall to the ground, staring at the corpse of his daughter. And for the first time in millennium, he places his head within his hands and openly weeps for the loss of yet another of his children.

A squad of Mistral officers surround the Father with their weapons drawn to him. They bark orders at him only for them to fall on deaf ears. As they open fire, the sounds of their weapons cut through the deafening silence. Once they pepper him with bullets, the Father rips his hands from his head as his eyes glow a blinding light.

You: RrRrAaAaUuUuGgGgHhHh!!!!

Standing up, he swings his hands out causing bolts of lightening to launch out from his very presence, incinerating the officers from existence. Raising one hand, he shoots lightening at a random group and reduses them to nothing. Raising the other to an airship, he clenches his hand, causing the ship to crush in on itself before plummeting to the forest, starting a fire. The Father launches into the air. As he flies higher, he explodes into a dark expanding cloud, blocking out the glow of the shattered moon. This action catches everyone's attention as they stare up into the sky, halting their fight. Before anyone could react, a lightening bolt strikes another airship out of existence. More lightening strike from all around. Police, followers, the forest, it did not matter to the raging God. As this continues for several seconds; Velvet, Donn, and Joshua run to the safety of the main building. Before they could make it, a bolt of lightening strikes Joshua's left arm, destroying it completely. He barrels through the door, falling to the ground as the other two rush in. The sound of hell raging on from outside.

After an hour has passed, the sounds of destruction finally seace. While Donn tends to Joshua's wound, Velvet decides to check outside. As she makes her way to the door, she looks outside and sees the Father sitting on the ground cradling Salem's head. Her now innocent emerald green eyes forever staring back at him.
