A/n: No seriously, get back in the story!

Salem: Oh what is the rush, mortal? Besides, it is quite interesting here.

A/n: No it's not. It's just a place where a bunch of nerds come to get their rocks off.

Salem: Then do tell me, why are you here?

A/n: Fuck you, that's why.

Salem: How original.

A/n: Hey did you burn the castle down, again?

Salem:...

A/n: Because everyone thinks that's gonna happen.

(Y/n)s p.o.v.

It's been a few days since my little pep talk with Velvet, and HOLY CRAP who would have thought a combat school would be this boring! Port just talks about his life, I can barely understand Oobleck's prattling, and Glynda won't let me fight anyone ever since my spar with Pyrrha. Right now, we are listening to Oobleck talk about faunus history while zooming around like he just spiked his coffee with cocaine.

Oobleck: Now, which one of you young scholars can tell me what many theorists believe to be the turning point in the third year of the war?

And possibly one of my most disappointing deals with any mortal ever...

Weiss raises her hand.

Oobleck: Yes?

Weiss: The battle at Fort Castle!

Oobleck: Precisely! And, who can tell me the advantage the faunus had over General Lagune's forces?

Aahh, Lagune. When I first met him many years ago, he was but a lowly private. I made a deal to help him rise through the ranks all the way up to general, in exchange for a large amount of souls. All of those faunus would have made a great transaction... If it weren't for the fact that he was an absolute retard when it came to strategy and the basic knowledge of faunus anatomy. Ever since then, I have made sure to be very careful making deals with any mortal.

So, to sum up the whole day; Jaune made an ass of himself, Cardin is a prick, and Brock is planning poker night.

[Location: droms]

Brock, Elly and I sit around a table with cards and Lien playing poker. Natalie, on the other hand, is sitting on her bed reading a book.

(Y/n):...

Elly:...

Brock:... Aw damn it, I fold.

He gets up from his seat and walks over to his bed to clean his gauntlets.

Elly:... Ha! Imma treat you like a shit, and flush yo ass!

She tosses her cards on the table to reveal five black heart cards. A flush.

Elly: Suck on that, (y/n)!

(Y/n): Hmmmm... I see your measly flush, peasent.

Elly: No...

(Y/n): And raise you... A royal flush!

I place my cards on the table to reveal a red ace, king, queen, joker and ten. All diamonds.

Elly: Oh fuck me in the butt!

(Y/n): Maybe later. Right now, I'll just take your money. Haha!

I reach on the table and collect my 800 Lien.

Elly: Best out of nine!

(Y/n): Girl you ain't got anymore money to bet with, and you really don't want to make this into strip poker.

That seem to have gotten Brocks attention for a second.

(Y/n): By the way, did any of you hear about this field trip that Goodwitch has us going to in a few days?

Brock: Nope.

Elly: I don't care...

Natalie: Yeah, but I still don't know what we're going to do.

(Y/n): Well, I guess we are gonna find out...

[Location: Forest of Forever Fall]

(Y/n): Now.

Brock: You... You did it again.

We travel through the forest with other students, while we follow Glynda.

Glynda: Yes students, the Forest of Forever Fall is indeed beautiful. But we are not here to sight-see. Professor Peaches asked all of you to collect samples from the trees deep inside this forest. And I'm here to make sure that none of you die while doing so.

This Peaches character sounds like a lazy bitch.

(Y/n): So Professor Goodwitch, you voluptuous siren, what the hell are we doing?

She stops in her tracks and turns around, sporting a faint blush.

Glynda: Each of you is to gather one jar's worth of red sap. However, this forest is full of the creatures of grimm, so be sure to stay by you teammates. We will rendezvous back here at four o'clock. Have fun!

Red sap? Awesome! Now all I need is the blood of an unwanted child and I'm in business!

My team and I make our way deeper in the forest, splitting off from the rest of the class. As my team starts collecting sap, I head a little further to find a nice tree to get the perfect red sap. Walking around a little longer, I hear a growl behind me. Turning around, I am face to face with a large Ursa. As it continues to growl, preparing to swat me, I just stand there.

(Y/n): Do you really think this is a good idea?

The Ursa stops growling and starts to sniff in my direction. It tilts it's head to the side in curiosity.

(Y/n): Haha, I know! Quite a convincing disguise, don't you think?

I step forward and scratch it behind one of it's ears, eliciting a satisfied growl.

(Y/n): You should get out of here before someone sees you.

I step back and watch as the Ursa walks off into the forest. As I collected a jar of red sap, I made my way back to my team.

Elly: There you are. Did you get your sap?

(Y/n): Right here.

Elly: Cool. Let's head back to-

*distant roar*

Brock: What was that?

Off in the distance, we can hear someone screaming 'Ursa, Ursa'.

Natalie: Someone could be in trouble!

I drop my jar and make a run towards the roar. Not to save someone, but maybe to try and 'scare off' the Ursa. I don't like the idea of anyone hurting my grimm, and I am still sick to my stomach from what I did in the initiation.

As I run into a clearing, I make it just in time... to watch Jaune decapitate the same Ursa from before. I stand there as I over hear someone talk about poles, but I don't pay attention to any of it. I just stare at the evaporating grimm. The rest of my team finally made it.

Elly: We're here! What happened?

(Y/n):... Nothing to worry about. Come on, let's head back before Goodwitch lectures us or something.

I need a cup of Crimson Tea, badly.

[Location: Beacon]

Natalie's p.o.v.

When the class makes it back to Beacon, I can't help but look over to (y/n) to see him just... staring off into space. Earlier today he was joyfully teasing Elly about beating her in poker again, chatting with Velvet, and flirting with Professor Goodwitch. Now, he just seems more quiet.

Glynda: Mr. (l/n), I would like your help in my office for just a moment.

(Y/n): Sure thing, Goodwitch.

As (y/n) follows Professor Goodwitch, my team and I went over to the library to study.

Brock: So, what are the saps needed for again?

Elly: I don't know, but I'm definitely keeping some of it.

Natalie:...

Elly: What's wrong, Natalie?

Natalie: Huh? Oh, I'm just thinking about (y/n).

Elly/Brock: Ooohh~

Natalie: N-not like that! He was quiet when we got back from the forest. I'm just a little worried.

Brock: Eh. Knowing him, he's probably just upset he didn't get to kill anything.

Elly: Yeah. I did notice he looked a little bummed out after Jaune killed that Ursa. Maybe he wanted a go at it.

Natalie: I guess...

Elly: Come on, we have to study for that craptastic test tomorrow.

Brock: "groan"

[Location: Glynda's office. Thirty minutes later]

(Y/n)'s p.o.v.

Heh. It took long enough, but she finally gave in. As I zip my pants back up I look over to see Glynda straighten out her top, still missing her black pants. Her face is as red as the trees in Forever Fall.

Glynda: "ahem" Th-thank you, (y/n). That will be all for today.

(Y/n): Anytime, Ms. Goodwitch.

I walk over to the door. As I close it behind me, my scroll rings. Checking it shows that it is Natalie.

*beep*

(Y/n): You have good timing.

Natalie: Where are, (y/n)?

(Y/n): I finished helping Goodwitch and just left.

Natalie: Well, we're in the library. Get here when you can.

(Y/n): I'll see you there.

*beep*

I look back to the door leading to Glynda's office, a wicked smile creeping onto my face.

(Y/n): And now, we play the waiting game.

As I walk down the halls to the library,  I can see Velvet being pestered by Cardin. I hide behind a corner and spy on them.

Cardin: And why should I, huh? The way I see it, your in my way.

Instead of fear, I see annoyance in her eyes with a hint of anger.

Velvet: I don't have time for this.

Cardin: Oh, well that's too fuckin' bad!

He pushes her back a few feet, and I can tell that was a very bad idea. For a split second, her eyes turned pitch black before changing back to normal. In a blink of an eye, she launches her fist right at his temple. As he staggers, Velvet grabs him by the head and repeatedly bashes it against a wall. Fractures start to form on the wall as it is coated in a layer of blood. She tosses Cardin's now unconscious body to the floor and walks off. His head is covered in his own blood.

I look over to Velvet and use my powers to look into her soul. As I do, I see half of her soul is already consumed by the dark energy.

(Y/n): Ooohh~ This is all going too well!
