(AUGUST POV)

"All that trouble for this little thing. With all due respect, Dom, you really did great work back there. All of you. All of my men are now standing by and are fully at your disposal. Your call," Mr. Nobody says as he looks at the device.

"Ramsey. Fire it up and find me Shaw," Dom orders.

"Oh, damn, this is crazy," Tej says as he watches Ramsey use the device.

"Thank you. All right, give me a second," Ramsey says.

"What is it doing now?" I ask.

"It's hunting. Hacking into the security cameras at Etihad Towers. That's the last place you saw Shaw, so that's where we'll start. That's him, right there," Ramsey says as she points at the screen.

"Wait, wait. What are these numbers right here for?" Tej asks.

"It's bio-mapping Shaw's face. It'll run it against every camera. Every audio device in this hemisphere. Bingo. Looks like he's holed up here," Ramsey says as the device finds Deckard.

"That's perfect. Automated factory, no people, lots of places to hide. You just changed the face of manhunts forever. Congratulations," Mr. Nobody explains.

"Hey, can I check my email real quick?" Rome asks.

"Dawn's up in two hours. We're gonna go take down Shaw then. Go get changed," Dom orders and we all leave the room to change.

"You know he's going to go without us right?" I ask Brian as I quickly change.

"Yeah. We have to hurry," Brian says also quickly changing. We sneak back into where Dom and Mr. Nobody are.

"We should go now. Just you, your team, and me," Dom says.

"I thought you said at dawn," Mr. Nobody says confused.

"My guys are racers, the best drivers in the world. But they ain't killers," Dom explains.

"Told you he'd say that," Brian says to me as we walk out.

"I know you too well, Dom, and we're going with you. Ride or die," I tell him.

"Well, looks like we got a nice little hunting party. Let's go bag a shadow," Mr. Nobody says as we all get into the SUVs. "Ten klicks out, boys. Get ready to rock and roll. Here we go. Weapons hot." We head inside the building.

"You ready for this?" Brian asks me.

"Yeah," I answer before giving him a kiss.

"I hope you're enjoying your last meal," Dom says as we come up on Deckard eating.

"This is it? This is all I warrant? A dozen men and a woman?" Deckard asks.

"I think you'll find it's more than enough," Mr. Nobody says

"I'm ready to meet my maker. Are you?" Deckard asks as the guys that had Ramsey come out. "What were you expecting, Toretto? To catch me off guard? Me standing here, waving a white flag? You ever heard the saying, "The enemy of my enemy 'is my friend?'"

"I don't have friends. I got family," Dom answers.

"Well, I got a lot of friends," Deckard says.

"Two-two formation! Sheppard, peel one! Roger that," Mr. Nobody orders and the firing begins. I stay behind Dom and Brian, especially after the news I found out earlier.

"Brian, leave it! Get down!" Dom says as we all run to the SUV. We're the only ones that made it besides Mr. Nobody.

"You got hit bad," I tell Mr. Nobody as I look at his wound. Brian is the one driving.

"Look, Toretto. I know you won't listen to me. You're not gonna want to hear what I have to say. But the truth is, you really ought to try that Belgian ale, man. It's something special," Mr. Nobody says bringing a smile to my face.

"Belgian ale, huh?" Dom asks with a smile.

"Hey, we gotta get you to a hospital," Brian states.

"No, you're not. I carry my own health insurance. SOCM medics on standby. They're already inbound. Pull over, kid," Mr. Nobody explains. We get out and sit Mr. Nobody on the side of the road. "Dom, you gotta protect Ramsey. As long as she's alive, she can lock them out of God's Eye, and they know that. That means they're not gonna stop coming until they've got her. And this time, when they come they're gonna come with everything they've got."

"I'm not leaving you," Dom says.

"You're not. I'm leaving you. Go now, Dom," Mr. Nobody says as a helicopter comes into site. We leave and get the team. We go back to L.A.

"A war is coming to us, whether we like it or not. If a war is coming, we're gonna face them on the streets we know best," Dom explains.

"I'm all for winging it, but this is crazy, man. We got mercenaries with some real heat on us. I mean, I ain't scared or nothing, but... Man, I don't even have a gun!" Rome complains.

"Gun? We got a whole city. And we may have more than that," Dom says.

"If they use God's Eye, it'll tap the cameras around town to find our location. Which means we could plant a virus. And then break in when they access it," I say.

"So you're talking about hacking my hacking device. It's brilliant," Ramsey says.

"Yeah, but there's one problem. The signal strength. We can't start a hack on them until they're within a two-mile range," Tej explains.

"That's really close," Letty says.

"Close? These guys are military. If they're within two miles of us, we're already dead. I don't know about y'all, but I didn't really plan on dying today," Rome complains.

"Only one way to stay alive. We play keep-away with Ramsey," Brian says.

"What?" Ramsey asks.

"They can't hit us if we keep moving," I say.

"And I'll take Shaw," Dom says.

"So, basically, we're just gearing up for a big game of hot potato, huh?" Rome asks.

"Which car is the potato?" Ramsey asks.

"Girl, you're the potato," Tej says. We all go our separate ways to get ready. Brian and I decide to call Mia.

"Brian, August are you both okay?" Mia asks.

"Mia, listen to me. Somethings about to go down. And if you don't hear from us in 24 hows, I need you to take care of Jack. You understand? You understand what I'm saying?" I explain to her.

"No, I can't do that, August. No, I can't," Mia says.

"Mia you have to if we don't make it back," Brian says.

"Okay. I will," Mia says.

"Thank you, Mia," I say before ending the call. I see that Brian looks worried. "Brian, what's wrong?"

"If I don't make it, I need you to take Jack and move on," Brian says.

"No, I can't do that, Brian. No, I can't," I say tearing up knowing that I have to tell him what I found out not too long ago. "We're gonna have another baby. It's a little girl. And she's going to need her father."

"Really?!" He asks me excitedly and I nod at him.

"So you have to finish what you're doing and you have to come home to her. You have to come home to us. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before. I just found out and I was scared you'd be disappointed with domestic life," I explain to him.

"You know, the best decision I ever made was stepping into the store and buying that first sandwich," Brian says with a smile, which makes me smile.

"It was such a shitty sandwich. Mia could never fix tuna," I say.

"I know, right? But I ate a lot of them," Brian says with a laugh. "I love you, August."

"Don't do that," I say not liking how he said it.

"What?" He asks.

"The way you said it. It's like goodbye. Say something else," I tell him.

"Okay. Stay out of this for me," Brian says.

"I'll try. I love you, Brian," I tell him. I plan to go be with Hobbs in the hospital.

"I love you, August," Brian says before giving me a kiss. We go back over to the others.

"One last ride," Dom says.

"Ride or die," I say, and everyone repeats it. I give everyone a hug before heading to the hospital.
