(August P.O.V.)

We walk around until we find a place to stay the night. Mia went to sleep and Brian, Dom, and I are on the balcony drinking Coronas.

"Hey, Dom, what do you remember about y'all's father?" Brian asks out of the blue.
"Our father," Dom says and Brian nods. "He used to....He used to have a barbecue every Sunday after church. For anybody in the neighborhood. If you didn't go to church, you didn't get any barbecue. Every single day he was in the shop, and every single night, he was at the kitchen table with Aug and Mia, helping them with their homework. Even after they went to sleep, he'd stay up for a few more hours so he could learn the next chapter and help them the next day. I remember everything about my father. Everything."

"That's just it. I don't remember anything about my dad. I don't remember him yelling. I don't remember him smiling. To be honest with you, I don't even remember what the hell he looked like. I don't remember. He just....He was just never there." Brian explains. I hug Brian.

"You won't ever be like that, Brian," Dom says looking at me and Brian. I look back at Mia sleeping.
"We can't keep running, Dom. We got to get out. We got to get out now," I say.
"You're right. Here's how we going to do it. We're going to use this. We're going do one last job. We're going to take all of Reyes' money. Every dime of it, and disappear. Forever," Dom explains taking the chip out of his pocket.
"New passports. New lives with no more looking over our shoulder. And we're just going to buy our freedom," Brian says.
"That's right," Dom says.
"You realize we're talking about going up against the most powerful guy in all of Rio?" I ask them.
"Yes, we are," Dom says.
"We're going to need a team," Brian says and a smile comes to all of our faces. The next morning we find an abandoned warehouse and make a plan.

"Let's run the bases real quick. Who do we got?" Brian says.
"First we are going to need a chameleon. Someone who can blend in anywhere," Dom explains.
"Han," I say.
"What else?" Brian asks.
"A fast talker. Someone who can bullshit their way out of anything," Dom answers.
"I got that," Brian says.
"Rome," I say while Brian and I share a smile.
"This guy is going to have a lot of surveillance. We're going to need someone who's good with circuits," Dom explains.
"Mia and Tej," I say.
"And with those circuits, Reyes is going to have walls. We're going to need guys to punch through those walls," Dom says.
"Tego and Santos," I say.
"What else?" Brian asks.
"Utilities and weapons. Someone who ain't afraid to throw down. Someone to back up every position," Dom answers.
"Gisele," I say.

"Yeah, what else do we need?" Brian asks.
"Most importantly, we're going to need three precision drivers. People that don't crack under pressure. People that never lose." Dom answers as he holds up three fingers.
"You know we got that," Brian says and we all smile.

(August P.O.V.)

We called everyone up and they're on the way. I hear a car drive into the warehouse and someone else walk in.

"Aw, hell, no!" I hear Rome say as I near them.
"I see they really scraped the bottom of the barrel, huh?" I hear Tej ask.
"I guess they did since your ass is here," I hear Rome say. "When you going to give Martin Luther King his car back?"
"As soon as you give Rick James his jacket back." Tej answers.
"What's up, man?" Rome asks.
"What's up?" Tej says. They bro hug.

"Hey guys," I say finally coming into view.
"Alex?" Rome asks. I shake my head no.
"August. What you doing here, baby girl?" Tej asks. Rome is confused.
"Yes, Rome, I am Alex, but I'm also August. Alex was just my undercover name," I explain.
"You knew the whole time?" Rome asks Tej.
"Yeah," Tej answers. Then I hear a motorcycle come in. Gisele is here.

"Hmm. Sexy legs, baby girl. What time do they open?" Rome asks Gisele. Gisele has her back to Rome. She turns around and has a gun pointed at Rome's head.
"They open the same time I pull this trigger. Want me to open them?" Gisele asks Rome. Tej and I are trying not to laugh.
"Te dije que la chica flaca tenía bolas," I hear Tego say as he comes up behind us with Santos. 'I told you the skinny chick had balls'

"Looks like she started the party without us," Santos says in Spanish.
"Hey, anybody can talk shit in Spanish, homey," Rome says.
"¿Qué está diciendo este tipo?" Santos asks. 'What's this guy saying?'

"Ugly is still ugly in Spanish or in English," Rome says. "Who are these clowns, man?" Rome looks at Tej. "Circus clowns,"

"I thought cockfights were illegal in Brazil," Han says as he walks up.
"I see you all have met," Dom says as he, Brian, and Mia walk up.
"You know when you called me to Rio. I assumed it would be for something more exciting than this," Gisele says to Dom.
"Look at this guy," Brian says as he and Rome bro hug.
"Long time," Rome says.
"I missed you, man. Good to see you," Brian says as he bro hugs Tej.
"Brother. What's up?" Tej says.
"Yo, check this out," Brian says to Dom and he walks over.

"This is Tej. Best circuit man on the East Coast," I say pointing to Tej.
"And this is my boy, Roman Pearce. We go way back, I met this guy in juvie. I pulled that job with him and August in Miami," Brian explains.
"I've heard about you," Dom says as he shakes Rome's hand.
"Nice digs," Han says as he walks up.
"Yeah, well, the Ritz was sold out," I say.
"So what's this all about, Dom?" Han asks.
"Yeah, man, why did you drag us halfway around the world?" Tej asks.
"Because we got a job," Dom says and we walk over to the table that has the plans on it.

"All right, so our target's name is Hernan Reyes," I say.
"And he runs the drug scene down here. He's never been busted because he doesn't leave a paper trail," Brian explains.
"No paper trail means no banks. And no banks means cash houses," Gisele says.
"That's right. Ten of them, to be exact. Spread throughout the city. And we're going to hit them all," Dom explains.
"All of them?" Tej asks.
"All of them," Dom answers.

"That sounds crazy. You bring us to a whole other country so we can rob the dude that runs it? I thought this was business. Sounds personal to me. Is that what this is? I got love for y'all, but personal ain't good business. I can't do this, homies," Rome says and starts to walk away.
"So what we're talking about is $100 million," Dom says.

"You say what? Hundred....See, sometimes I be over thinking, man, and I know we just met, but you just, kind of, got to...." Rome says.
"That's right, $100 million, and everything we take, we split even. That's a little over $11 million apiece," I explain.
"I am down," Tej says.
"I'm in," Santos and Tego say.
"Eleven million. Sounds like a whole lot of vaginal activity to me," Rome says.
"You can't pull off 10 heists on the same mark," Gisele says.
"You just can't. As soon as we hit the first one, they're going to do everything they can to protect the rest," Han explains.
"Exactly," Dom says.

(Brian P.O.V.)

We all were ready to head into the first cash house. Mia stayed behind. We break in. We each had a gun and a mask on our face.

"Nobody move!" Dom yells as we get everyone in the room together.
"That's all of it," Rome says as they bring a huge stack of money into the room.
"You a dead man. You're all dead men! You don't have a place to hide," One of the guys in the room says.
"Who's hiding?" Dom asks as we all remove our masks.
"Are you crazy? Are you crazy? Do you know whose house this is? Whose money are you stealing?" The guy asks.
"We ain't stealing it," August says.
"You tell your boss exactly who did this. Tell him there's more coming," Dom says. I start burning the money and we leave. Rome heads to a coffee shop, Gisele gets on her motorcycle, Han gets in his car, Dom in his, Tej heads to the roof of the warehouse, and August and I get into her car. They start moving the money from the other houses.

"Number one is on the move, man," I hear Rome say through the walkie-talkie.
"Two is on the move," Dom says through the walkie-talkie.
"I got mine," Gisele says through her walkie-talkie.
"Four is moving," August says as we watch the truck take off.
"I got eyes on five," Han says.
"I know y'all said they were consolidating the money somewhere, but, y'all ain't going to believe this," Tej says through his walkie-talkie and we all head to the roof of the warehouse.

(August P.O.V.)

We all met back up on the roof.

"Well, this job just got a lot harder," Brian says as we watch all of the trucks enter the police station.
"If he's moving it into a police station he's got some serious brass in his pocket," Tej says.
"Looks like this is going to be a shorter trip than I thought...." Han says.
"Hell, yeah, we can't do this," Rome says.
"'Can't?' You mean, 'shouldn't.'" Gisele says.
"I think this doesn't change a thing. I say we stick to the plan," Dom says and I smirk.
"You say what? This just went from Mission: Impossible to Mission: In-freaking-sanity. Whatever, man. I ain't scared, I'm just letting you all know, going in that building is crazy," Rome complains before walking off.
"I got this," Brian says before chasing after Rome. We all go back downstairs and plan.

"The beauty of public offices?" Mia says.
"Public records," I say as we spread out a layout of the police station. "This is where he's keeping the money," I point at a room.
"The vault in the evidence room," Mia says further explaining it.
"Um. Uh, yeah. Can I get everyone's attention, right here for a second?" Tej says and we all look at him. "We're talking about breaking into a police station. Is anyone listening to those words? Anybody? Popo? Five-o. One-time. Pigs. People we don't like."

"You know, police stations are designed to keep people in, not out," Gisele says.
"That's why it's a stealth mission," I say.
"We'll be in and out before they even know we were there," Brian says.
"Well, we'll need to get eyes in there. At least find the make and model of the vault," Han says.
"So the vault and then, so....It's crazy. Who's supposed to do all this?" Rome asks and we all look at him. "What do you mean? Why me?"
"Cause you got the biggest mouth," I say.
"That's for damn sure," Tej says and everybody laughs.
