(August P.O.V.)

Mia and I have been waiting for Brian, Dom, and Vince to show up. We are watching the TV right now.

"The American fugitives killed three DEA agents during a train robbery....Police warn they are armed and extremely dangerous. Anyone with information should contact law enforcement immediately..." We listen to the reporter say. We hear a bang outside of the door. Mia turns the TV off and grabs a piece of pipe. I get my gun out and grab a piece of pipe in the other hand. We hide behind the columns.

"August?" I hear Brian yell after the door opens.
"Hey," I say as I come from behind the column.
"You okay?" Brian asks.
"Yeah, you all right?" I ask him as we hug. Dom comes in and Mia walks over.
"Hey," Mia says giving Dom a hug. I give Dom a hug also.
"Just like a Toretto," Dom says to Mia and me after noticing the pipes in our hands.
"What can I say?" I ask.

"Where's Vince?" Mia asks.
"That's a good question," Brian says.
"He'll be here," Dom says.
"Guys, we're all over the news," Mia says.
"They're blaming us for the killing of those DEA agents on the train. Which means we just jumped to the top of the wanted list," I explain.
"The feds have got to show everyone their agents are off limits and they're going to send their best guys. We got to get out of here," Brian explains.

"One thing we know for sure is that they wanted this car," Dom says.
"Because something is in it," I say catching on to where he is heading.
"If we find out what it is, we'll know what we're up against." Dom finishes. We get to work with taking the car apart.

(Luke Hobbs P.O.V.)

My team and I arrive in Rio.

"All right, listen up! The men and woman we're after are professional runners. They like speed and are guaranteed to go down the hardest possible way, so make sure you got your funderwear on. We find them, we take them as a team, and we bring them back. And above all else, we don't we ever, ever let them get into cars. The crime scene is 10 hours old and counting, men. Let's go hunting." I explain to my team before we start working.

"Agent Hobbs! Chief of Police, Joo Almeida," Joo says.
"Luke," I say as we shake hands.
"Sorry to hear about the loss of your men. Is all this really necessary to apprehend two men and a woman?" Joo asks.
"Let me tell you something about these two men and woman. One man is a former federal officer, been in deep cover for five years. He knows every way you're going to come for him. The other one is a professional criminal, escaped prison twice, spent half his life on the run avoiding folks like you. The woman is a former federal officer as well, been in deep cover for nine years. She knows how cops think. Plus when she wasn't a cop she is the criminal's sister, she knows how to avoid people like you," I explain. She and I have worked together before.

"Well, is there's anything we can do to help the DSS...," Joo says.
"Two things. One, I need a translator," I say.
"We have plenty in the public relations department," Joo says.
"Elena Neves," I say.
"A patrol officer?" Joo asks.
"You heard me," I answer.
"But why? We have more experienced people," Joo asks.
"I like her smile," I answer.
"What's the second thing?" Joo asks.
"Stay the fuck out of my way," I answer and get to work.

(August P.O.V.)

We were almost done taking the car apart when Vince came in.

"God damn. What a mess!" Vince complains.
"Where you been, man?" I ask in a serious tone.
"You better check that tone," Vince says. Which upsets Brian.
"And you better answer the goddamn question," Brian says as he fully stands.
"Stop it! All of you." Mia says getting between us all.

"Where were you, Vince?" Dom asks.
"Guys all over the favelas asking about you. Couldn't get out of there without leading them straight to you. Had to wait them out." Vince says and I can tell he's lying.
"That is such horseshit," I say.
"That was your job, and those were your guys!" Brian says.
"Hey!" Vince says heading towards Brian.
"Hey! Enough, O'Conner! August, if he said he didn't do it, he didn't do it. Both of you go walk it off." Dom says. Brian and I head outside to cool down.

(Dom P.O.V.)

After Brian and August calmed down they came back inside. We ended up not finding anything in the car. Brian and August head to their room to sleep. Mia and Vince go to their room. I turn all the lights off and sit in the dark. It is really bugging me that August was so quick to call Vince a lair. She has always been able to easily read people. I hear a door open and close. I get up and see Vince head over to the car. He then pulls something out of the radio, computer deal.

"Almost wish I didn't see that," I say making Vince drop the chip. "Almost." I walk closer.
"Wait, Dom," Vince says raising his hands in front of him.
"Mia and August were on that train. My sisters!" I yell at him.
"I didn't know. I wouldn't do anything to hurt them." Vince says.
"You set up the deal!" I yell at him.
"I thought the job was for the cars. I didn't know. All they want is the chip." Vince explains.
"Damn! You should've come clean." I say to Vince.

"What's going on out here?" August asks as Brian, she, and Mia come out of their rooms.
"Nothing," I say.
"Please, Dom, just let me have the chip. I can take this to them. They'll give it to Reyes and set things right." Vince explains.
"Get out," I say.
"What?" Vince asks.
"Get out!" I yell at him and start to walk in the other direction.
"You never listen to me. Not when I told you he was a cop, and not now. You never trust me and look where it's gotten us. look at our family now. Mia and I can't go home! August is stuck in this life! Where's Letty, Dom? Where's Letty?" Vince says.
"Get out!" August yells at Vince and he leaves.

(August P.O.V.)

I wake up fro hearing yelling from outside. I wake Brian up and we walk out to see Vince and Dom.

"What's going on out here?" I ask and Mia comes out of her room.
"Nothing," Dom says.
"Please, Dom, just let me have the chip. I can take this to them. They'll give it to Reyes and set things right," Vince explains.
"Get out," Dom says.
"What?" Vince asks.
"Get out!" Dom yells at him and starts to walk in the other direction.

"You never listen to me. Not when I told you he was a cop, and not now. You never trust me and look where it's gotten us. look at our family now. Mia and I can't go home! August is stuck in this life! Where's Letty, Dom? Where's Letty?" Vince says. When he says that I start to head in his direction to hit him, but Brian wraps his arms around my waist.
"Get out!" I yell at Vince and he leaves. The next morning we sit down and look at the chip.

"What do you think?" Mia asks as she works the computer.
"Well, it's definitely a custom chip," I answer.
"Look at all these side menus here for data entry," Brian says.
"Let's check this one," I say pointing at it.
"look at that. Same building, same order every week," Mia says.
"It's a delivery schedule," I say.

"What's this? Drugs?" Mia asks.
"No. That's a dealer pack. See, most major players, they weigh their money so they don't have to constantly count it," Brian answers.
"Right there, is 49 kilos," I say.
"You're saying each one of these shipments is worth 10 million dollars?" Dom asks.
"Yeah," I answer.
"So what is that?" Mia asks.
"A 100-million plus in cash houses?" Dom asks.
"That's how he keeps it off the grid," Brian answers.
"I think it's safe to say that Reyes is smart to want this back. It's his whole network right there, just laid out on a chip," I explain. We then hear a noise and grab the chip and climb over the wall, just as Reyes men come in. Mia, Brian, and I run one way and Dom goes another. The men chase us all through the favelas. We end up running across the roofs of the favelas. We run out of the roof, so we jump and break through the roof of the building way below us. We find Dom and walk through the sewers to keep from being seen. We get out of the sewer.

"They're going to be looking for all four of us together now. We need to split up. You, Mia, and August head south, I'll lead them away." Dom says.
"No," Mia says.
"That's bullshit," I say.
"Dom is right. Look how lucky we just got. What happens next time? We have no choice but to split up," Brian says.
"I have a kid," Mia says.
"That's right, we can't just abandon her kid. I already lost my family once. I'm not going through that again. I went through nine years of being a cop to keep you with us, Dom," I say.
"I'm also pregnant again," Mia says.
"Are you kidding us?" I ask her.
"No," Mia says.
"Oh my gosh I'm so happy for you. I'm not going anywhere." I say as I pull Mia into a hug.
"Dom? Promise us we stick together." Mia says.
"I promise," Dom says and we all group hug. "Our family just got bigger."
