Here are my honest opinions that I am not afraid to tell the world. Yeah, I know some of them are weird. That's the point.

I'm up for a healthy, friendly debate in the comments if anyone wants to discuss :)

1) The Newtina kiss should be in the 4th movie.

Yeah. I know. Unpopular opinion.

Since their relationship is such an agonising slow-burn, it would take one hell of a while before either of them work up the courage to lean forward and close the gap. Especially with Achilles in the picture, the grand ship of Newtina could take a while to straighten itself out.

In the first movie, we saw a fangirl-approved amount of progress, then in FB2, their relationship... regressed (to quote Katherine).

By the end, they were being sickeningly obvious:

BE MORE OBVIOUS, I DARE YOU-

But they are/were both clearly still shy as hek. Plus, I think it would make more sense + tension in the 4th movie. If they kissed in FB3... what would the next two movies be like...? Here is a nice little chart I made for the sake of it...

Fantastic Beasts 3: Fluff, maybe one kisses the other on the cheek? ^^ cute Newtina scenes

Fantastic Beasts 4: More Newtina, preferably a kiss ;)

Fantastic Beasts 5: MORE NEWTINA, I want to see Newt propose as well, and I think that it would make sense if he proposed at the end of the movie, since there will most likely be a time skip between films 4 and 5.

And a ten years later scene. I want to see their kid/s. So so so sooo bad.

If the last movie ends with Newt and Tina taking their children to platform 9 3/4, I'm going to need to be wheeled out of the theatre.

2) Achilles Tolliver might actually be an okay guy!

FIGHT ME.

Okay, let me use an analogy for a sec- what about good (bad) old Umbridge?

Q. Why did everyone hate her?

A. Because she was a fat, ugly toad who caused everyone misery.

Now, near the beginning of C.o.G, we find out that Tina started dating an auror after she read that Newt was engaged. Now, Tina has an excellent taste in men (Newt Scamander, ladies and gentlemen ^^), so why would she date an ugly git that caused her misery?

Okay. So Achilles may be pretending to be nice, then wait until later to reveal his true colours. But remember that Tina could have gone for Abernathy, who can fake anything and make anyone believe him. He eluded the entire damn ministry for ages, remember?

Still, he clearly wasn't her type. Alright, MACUSA is probably full of people like Abernathy. It's politics, for Merlin's sake! Tina still managed to find someone that she seemed relatively "happy" with. Enough so that she physically walked away from Newt when he tried to explain himself.

I'm just sayin', this love triangle would be a lot harder if Achilles was nice. I have this miscellaneous idea that he's overly possessive of Tina at first, then he sees how Newt and Tina are clearly in love with each other. It's agonising, but he has to let go of her, and the actually decent side of Achilles Tolliver comes through and he says to Tina, "It's over. I'm not the right one for you. *points to Newt* He's standing over there."

Just a theory. I'm toying with the idea of writing something on this.

3) Vinda and Abernathy have something going on.

Hey! Villains can find love too!

I was convinced by this scene:

I have a headcanon that Abernathy has a lil' crush on her, but Vinda's all business, and she doesn't feel the same way.
