The Moth Children
I cannot believe it took me this long to make a chapter on my moth children.
I try to make friends with all the moths that seek shelter in my house. We get a lot of moths. It says so in my profile.
A friend once told me, "moths just come to you sinsajaja" (she keyboard slammed while texting me lol). RavenclawSeal139 also described me once as 'Moth God' and 'Queen of the Moths.'
It's true, I do meet many moths.
I name some of the regulars, would you like to meet them? :D
This is the og. My very own pet moth. He is called Iggy, and he's always hanging somewhere around our apartment.
I first spotted him two weeks ago, then he disappeared for a while, then he came back for the past six days and has been chilling in our kitchen and/or living room ever since. He is quite large, with grey and brownish patterns.
Iggyis happy on the roof in this photo.
Yeah, uh, he doesn't pick the best places for me to take photos, so you can't really see him that well.
This is Kensington. I only found her recently... the biggest damn moth I've ever seen in my life. About the size of my palm.
Kensi is beautiful, just look at her!
The next of my good friends is a fellow I've seen hanging around our kitchen quite a few times. His name is James. James is quite similar to Iggy in appearance, except for the fact that he is a lighter grey-brown with less intricate patches.
Next up we have another charming little friend of mine called Mackenzie. She is very quaint and loves having her picture taken.
And we also have another friend called Rudolph. Named particularly after Rudolph Spielman from Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. An innocent fellow.
I've also met a fine pair of moths in my kitchen, hanging around James. They're both very very small, and almost identical. I call them Dolly and Polly, but I never got a proper photo of them.
Then there is Easter Moth. Easter Moth is a legend. Easter Moth appears on Easter and Easter only. This Easter, he graced us with his presence for an entire day. The day after Easter, he was gone. Here is a rare picture of Easter Moth that I took during that fateful day.
There are also some moths that I've seen maybe once before they've flown off into the unknown. I still name them, because every moth should have a chance to have a name of their own.
Matilda (such pretty colours!)
Franklin
Cleo
Jeremiah
Olivia. Look at those spots, she's beautiful!
Gisella
Terence
Thomas (this one was up in the corner of my room like afreaking pervert)
Jasmine
I've met quite a few more, but I'm nearing my 20 images limit, and my camera sucks anyway. I don't know how I can recognise all my moth friends... maybe they all just look drastically different to me? Or perhaps befriending moths is a secret ability of mine :p
Anyway, I really like moths.
