Bennet

Bennet was born without arms.

For the most part, he would have been okay with it, but he was also born with cooked chicken drumstick legs. Bennet couldn't pick up a soda can...or any kind of drink at all really, except for from a water fountain. Every time he picked up a Mountain Dew can, it would slip helplessly from his weak bone "grasp" and fall to the ground. The echoing ting of the aluminum hitting the ground and the splash of the growing spill haunted him forever.

Also, out of every borb in his species, he was the only one with a white sphere body, red hair, a horsetail, and his legs the way they were. Thus, he had no friends, or even anyone to talk to. Bennet also could never swim, read, or drive a car. All he could do was run; run away from his problems.

He knew that he wouldn't be living life to the fullest until he had arms, so one day, Bennet set out into the countryside on a quest to retrieve them. Although nervous, determination trumped all of his emotions in that moment. He thought that if he had arms, others might pay attention to, or want to be friends with, him. Carrying a small backpack filled with provisions, he followed the thin gravel path leading south.

Day after day, Bennet walked, no signs of civilization in sight. The yellowed green of the tall grass and the blues of the sky were the only colors he had seen for weeks. Although he had brought water and food, he ran out of both the day before. He thought he had carried more, but he discovered that since he hadn't zipped up the backpack, which was something else he couldn't do without arms, three fourths of what he had originally brought had been spilling out behind him without Bennet noticing. He would have been pouting because of the issue, but he couldn't express himself with his face. His mouth and eyes were drawn on with Sharpie. If he did have lips, they would be too chapped anyway.

After what felt like years, he finally came across a small village on the edge of thick woods. Unable to contain his excitement, Bennet ran into it and up to what looked like a market at full speed.
