Kakashi POV 

"FATHER!" (y/n) shouted as he kicked me in the head, "FIGHT ME!" he demanded, "Not right now. I'm a little busy." I said, "I know, so am I. I've got a mission to go on today." he said, "What?!" I said, "Lord Third said that I either finally join my team and go on missions or take the Chunin Exams alone when they start. And if it gets everyone off my back..." he said, "Oh, and Auntie's pissed, she says that I'm too immature and not strong enough. I told her that if you could do it at six then I can too and that I could kick your butt just as easily." he said, "Oh, and why do you say that?" I asked, "I can use all five Chakra natures, I'm younger and faster than you, I have the Sharingan, and I know your weakness!" he said, "So you chose the latter, what did Kurenai do?" I asked, "She forced me to join my team after a thirteen-hour-long Genjutsu war. I'll win the next one that's for sure." He said, "Fine let's put that to the test then. Take one of these bells from me and you win." I said as I tied the bells to my pants and began to reach for my book when he rushed past me, I thought he was going for the bells so I dodged, "Nice try, but you need to do better." I said as I felt around for my book, "W-Where is it?!" I said nervously, "Ninjas of Love? This is much tamer than Make-out Paradise." he said from up in a tree, "N-Now (y/n) you shouldn't be reading that, why don't you give it back to me." I said nervously as he turned the book to the side letting the page unfold, "Huh, I kinda get it now." he said mortifying me, "And I win old man." he said as he rang the bells behind me, "Y-Yes you win! Can I have my book back please?" I begged, "Nah, I think I'm gonna keep this one. Auntie will love to see the books you give me." he said as he vanished, "I'm so dead." I said.

(y/n) POV

"You shouldn't pick on him like that." Sensei Mara said as she looked back at me.

"He deserves it." I said as I tossed her Dad's book, "Keep it, maybe it'll give you some ideas." I said, suddenly a senbon flew into the tree next to my head, "My love life is none of your concern, young man! Besides the man I loved only had eyes for one other person, Rin Nohara." she said, "Sensei, what do you know about the reanimation jutsu?" I asked, "Sensei huh? This must be a serious talk we're having." She said, "Forget about it kiddo. It's forbidden for a reason and I know who you're gonna reanimate." she said, "Besides you've already got a mom don't you?  Kurenai, and if not her then you've got me." she said, "That's cute and all Sensei, but no one can replace her." I said, "Whatever, let's go. We've got a mission." she said.

"It's about time!" Yuna said as she jumped down in front of me.

"So you're the one who's gonna replace Chika? She was strong, probably a lot stronger than you, she was gonna be one of the youngest Jonin ever." she bragged, "THINK FAST NEW GUY!" Yuri shouted as she sprinted at me. I grabbed her arm and threw her before looking her in the eye.

"Ok kids that's enough. Don't bully him." Setsuna said, "Yes Ma'am." Yuri said, "Don't try that again, I already know all your moves." I said.

We went to the border of the Land of Iron to quell an uprising threatening to spread to their nation. We were assigned to a small village which is why it was ranked so low. The village wasn't even in a good location for them to advance. "Setsuna." I said as I watched several of the insurgent's assault civilians, "No, just watch for now." Setsuna said.

Setsuna POV

'I know I told him to stand down, but this is hard for me to watch too. It's taking every ounce of restraint I have not to rush in.' I thought and out of the corner of my eye, I saw (y/n) buying a strange mask. Then I noticed one of the men and recognized him from the Bingo Book! "That man! He's Natsuo of the Blazing Salamander!" I said in shock. Suddenly I watched (y/n) sprint in and slit open three men's necks in front of the others. Jutsu flew and within minutes (y/n) stood in the carnage blood staining his mask and flames turning his eyes a piercing horrifying yellow. All I could see was that mask and his eyes.

"S-Sensei, who is that guy?" Yuna asked, "That is (y/n) Hatake." I said, "The Demon of the Leaf." Yuri said.

(y/n) POV

"Wow kid, not bad. You sure did slaughter my men. What are you? Some kind of demon?" a man said drawing my attention.

"Who the hell are you?" I asked coldly, "The name's Natsuo. I'm also known as the Salamander!" he said as he formed his hand signs, "FIRE STYLE! SALAMANDER'S BREATH!" he shouted as he roared flames, but I closed the gap in seconds, "You're so slow. I saw that coming a mile away." I said as I threw a kunai at his head, he dodged falling into my trap. I trusted the pendant of his necklace into his eye blinding him, "YOU BASTARD! IT HURTS! I'LL KILL YOU FOR THIS!" he screamed as he tore the object from his eye and slashed wildly with a kunai, "You weren't even a challenge." I said as I stabbed him in the heart.

"YOU IDIOT!" Setsuna yelled, "WHEN I TELL YOU TO STAY PUT YOU SIT YOUR ASS DOWN AND STAY!" she yelled, suddenly a chill ran down all our spines and our fear showed on our faces as the air grew deathly cold. "I saw what you did, demon boy. I thought you'd like a real challenge." a man said I could tell he was looking at me so I hesitantly turned and met his gaze.

He slashed and I dodged narrowly avoiding being decapitated, "The Demon of the Mist, Zabuza!" Setsuna said in fear as she drew her sword, "HAKU! Keep the weaklings busy!" Zabuza said as someone appeared behind him wielding senbon.

"Wow, she's prettier than Aunt Kurenai." I said making Zabuza laugh while Haku sprinted past me, "He's a boy!" he said as he slashed and broke my tanto, 'SHARINGAN!' I thought as I jumped onto his sword, "I'll kill you. And then I'll kill Haku." I said as I ran up the sword, but Zabuza dropped his blade and formed hand signs, "WATER STYLE! WATTER BULLET!" he shouted as he shot a torrent of water at me, I tried to dodge, but he trapped me in a water prison using a clone! 'D-danm! I need to do something and quick!' I thought as I formed hand signs sending lightning bursting the water prison and the clone, "DIE!" I snapped as I sprinted toward Zabuza seeing red, he grabbed my arm and lifted me into the air before he began to beat me and crushed my arm, "You're no demon. You have skill, but no drive. I can see all your waisted potential and it makes me sick!" he said as he kicked me, "G-Go to, hell." I panted as I tried to get up, but he kicked me back down into the dirt, before placing his sword to my throat, "You have the potential to surpass me one day kid, but as you are now, you'll die long before that happens." he said coldly, "Haku, let's go. We've already slaughtered the rest of the rebellion, now onto the next job. There's is a bridge builder who needs to die." he said as he and Haku left.

We returned home and I limped my way home. "I-I'm home." I said, "Welcome...(y/n) what happened?!" Aunt Kurenai asked worriedly as she caught me before I could fall to the floor, "The demon." I said softly.
