Chapter 14
It was early in the morning, visiting hours hadn't even begun yet. But Eleanor needed Erin out of here.
She quietly walked into Erin's room, "Babe?"
Eleanor was dressed in a grey oversized jumper and shorts, a black and grey beanie and her hair was purple. Erin shook herself awake, noticing Eleanor in her room.
"Hiya, isn't it a little early?" Erin asked, rubbing her eyes.
"You need to hide your ears and tail, don't forget to change." Eleanor told her, she was peeking out the little window that the door had.
Erin complied with Eleanor's strange request of hiding her ears and then changed. She was now wearing a light, cyan turtleneck, a pair of dark grey leggings, a pair of boots and a black cap.
"C'mon." Eleanor held out her hand for Erin to take.
Erin took Eleanor's hand before getting dragged out of the room and out of the hospital. Eleanor got them into the car and drove home. Once they were home, Erin and Eleanor walked into the living room where they seen Peri and Kasey on the couch, Kellie comforting Katie. The siblings all equally upset.
"Dad's home!" Erin shouted, surprising all four girls.
All of the girls looked at Erin and ran up to her, hugging her. But why were they upset?
"Am I missing something or are you all overly upset?" Erin asked them all,"I get that I tried to off myself but I'm completely fine now."
"No, no. It's not that, we're happy that you're back." Kellie nodded and wiped her tears while they all pulled away.
"Have you not told her yet?" Peri asked Eleanor.
Eleanor shook her head as Erin turned around.
"What information have you not told me babe?" Erin asked, turning to face her.
"Uh.. Let's go through to our room and I'll explain." Eleanor held out her hand.
Erin took her fiancé's hand and was led into the bedroom.
"So... What is it?" Erin asked again.
"..Someone is going around saying how dangerous and unstable animal hybrids are." Eleanor sighed.
"Same shit as last year, so what?" Erin questioned.
Eleanor was still not used to Erin swearing freely.
Eleanor blinked a couple of times at Erin's language before speaking again, "This time it's worse, they're killing hybrids."
"Now I'm seeing the problem..." Erin stated before clicking her fingers.
Suddenly, the whole family, with their stuff, were teleported to an empty house inside the deep, inside the woods if both wolf packs.
"Where are we?" Kellie asked, looking around.
Kasey immediately recognised where they were, "Oh we're in the woods, at the border of both wolf packs."
"I am so smart! They'll never find us here!" Erin stated proudly,"Cabin in the woods!"
"I'm gonna go tell the others that we're here for a bit!" Kasey told her family before she ran into the woods while the other siblings walked into the cabin.
A few hours later, Kasey returned and her and Erin spent the remaining hours of the day talking before heading to bed. The next morning, the children still needed to go to school. Luckily, it had many hybrids in it. Peri and Kasey were having a chat outside of their classroom during lunch.
Katie walked up to the couple with a small smile, "Hey guys, do you know where Noah is?"
"Uh, yeah. He's at the front of the school." Peri stated.
"Gonna ask him on that date?" Kasey asked, noticing that Katie was wearing Noah's orange jacket.
"I was thinking about it." Katie nodded with a hum.
"Go get him tiger!" Kasey encouraged her, pushing her forward.
"What if he says no?" Katie turned to face her older sibling.
"He won't say no, now move your booty along so Peri and I can make out!" Kasey demanded, causing Peri to turn a dark, red.
"..Got it. Have fun!" Katie waved and ran to the front of the school.
"Oh, I will!" Kasey answered, placing her hand on Peri's chin.
Katie giggled before she went and opened the front doors of the school to go and see Noah. What the poor girl was met with shouldn't be seen by anybody. Noah, her 'amazing' boyfriend who was just causally making out with two separate girls in the middle of the hallway. This was the last straw, Katie pulled the promise ring that Noah had given her and threw it to the ground before she stormed off. Katie stormed past her sister and straight out the back door of the school, running into the woods. On her way back, she ran straight into Seymour.
"Oh hey, you're the Al-" Seymour cut himself off, Kasey didn't like being called 'Alpha' even though she was, "-Kaseys sister, Katie, right?"
Katie merely nodded before continuing to walk ahead.
"Hey, are you okay? You look upset.." Seymour asked as he followed her.
"No shit Sherlock." Katie said, trying to hold in her tears.
"Can I ask what happened?" Seymour questioned, concerned that her and Kasey had another fight.
Katie stopped walking and turned to Seymour, falling to the ground,"My boyfriend cheated on me!"
"Oh.." Seymour bit his lip and went on his knees, he wasn't great at comforting people so he slowly hugged Katie, just like Maxwell taught him to.
Katie latched her arms around him and whispered,"I want to go home..."
Seymour nodded and pointed North, "It's that way, right?"
"Mhm..." Katie replied, she just wanted to be at home with her parents.
"Okay, I can take you if you'd like." Seymour suggested.
"Please... I really don't want to be alone." Katie answered, trying to hide the majority of her vunrability from him.
Seymour nodded, standing up and held out his hand for Katie. Kasey took his hand and they both walked to the cabin. Once they'd arrived, Seymour knocked on the door.
Eleanor was the one who answered the door, "Katie? And.. Seymour? What are you guys doing here?"
"Well, Katie just got cheated on and she wanted me to bring her home." Seymour stated, leading Katie inside.
For some strange reason he felt like finding her boyfriend so they could 'chat'.
"Your fathers in the living room." She told Katie before looking back at Seymour, "Thank you for bringing her, Seymour."
"It was the least I could do for my friend." Seymour replied before walking out of the door,"Bye Mrs Hamilton."
Meanwhile, Katie rushed into the living room to look for Erin. Erin was sitting on a chair, scrolling through her laptop when Katie rushed in. Erin jumped off the chair she was sitting on and quickly pulled Katie into a hug.
"What's wrong, Katie?" Erin asked, Katie doesn't usually get upset like this.
"He was cheating on me!" Katie broke down in tears once again, falling onto her knees.
Erin let go of Katie, Lillith flashing behind her few times before helping Katie up.
"How about you get changed and we can just relax, alright?" Erin suggested, stroking Katie's hair as she did.
Katie nodded slowly, "Okay.."
She then walked through to her room to get changed. Erin looked down and sighed as Lillith's hatred began seeping into her. Just before Lilith could come out, Katie came back into the room with Noahs jacket in her hand.
"Burn it." She stated as she held it out to Erin.
As Erin took the jacket, First Burn began playing in her head, she smirked as she tossed the jacket to the ground and burned it into nothingness, this caused Katie to smile slightly.
"Thank you.." She whispered and held onto her fathers arm.
"It was no problem." Erin said, bringing Katie over the couch where she put on Netflix and began playing Disney Movies. A few hours had passed and school had ended, Katie had fallen asleep. The sounds of the locks clicking was heard and Kasey walked in.
"Who hurt her?" She questioned, her eyes glowed for a second.
Erin calmly stood up and covered Kasey's mouth with her hand.
"She was cheated on." Erin spoke softly,"She's sleeping right now, don't wake her."
Kasey moved Erin's hand off of her mouth, "Sorry. I'm going to relax before I end up killing Noah."
She then left the room and went to her room. Erin looked down sympathetically at the sleeping Katie, knowing exactly how it feels to be cheated on. She sighed before walking to the kitchen to get a drink. That's when Katie woke up, sitting herself up. She looked around the room to make sure no one was watching before she got out her phone and texted Noah to meet her at their spot.
Katie jumped off the couch, grabbing her jumper and putting it on, crouching down to tie her laces before she left the cabin. When she arrived, she saw Noah waiting, his back turned to her.
Katie walked closer and stopped once she was close enough, "You used to tell me that you loved me once, what happened?"
Noah turned around in surprise before having the nerve to ask,"Where is all of this coming from baby? What happened?"
"What happened?" Katie asked, holding back her temper, "I saw you today at school with those two girls."
"You must've been seeing things, nothing happened with me or anyone else!" Noah responded defensively.
"You're lying and you know it's the truth, Noah!" Katie crossed her arms.
Noah turned his head away, not wanting to make eye contact with Katie.
"What have we become? All we're doing lately is arguing, and then I see you cheating on me, again!" Katie paused, "Do you hate me?"
Noah's head jolted back around, the guilt washing over him.
"N-no! It's not like that!" Noah shouted, trying to find the right words to say.
"Do you hate me?!" Katie asked again, the tears came back and fell streaming down her face.
"I don't hate you but..." Noah started, not knowing how to finish.
"But? But you'll take my heart and break it all apart?" Katie questioned, getting irritated now.
Noah stayed silent, he couldn't argue against it while he was clearly in the wrong.
"It isn't fair! You can either love me or leave me here!" Katie wiped her tears but they kept coming.
All of a sudden, Erin rushed through, shielding her child from the biggest mistake of her life. Noah knew he fucked up now, if her father was here.
"Do you remember when you loved her once, what happened?" Erin asked him, stepping forward.
Noah took a few steps back, he couldn't speak, he couldn't exactly say anything.
"You'd hold her here just because..." Erin paused before holding him in the air, picturing her ex-husband,"What changed?! Huh?"
Noah tried to speak but couldn't due to Erin holding him in the air.
Erin, realising he wasn't Oakley, dropping him carelessly to the ground.
"All you do is argue now, it's not healthy for you." Erin said, looking at them both.
Noah quickly turned around, turning so his back was facing them. He couldn't look at them.
"Do you just hate her or do you just hate all of us?" Erin asked him, crossing her arms.
Noah shook his head slowly at Erin's question, "I.."
He couldn't speak.
"You either love her or leave!" Erin shouted,"What is it?!"
"I don't know!" Noah turned around to face them, "I'm so sorry, Katie."
"Sorry won't fix i-" Erin began but she was cut off by Katie.
"Please... Just love me..." Katie pleaded, almost the opposite of the girl who murdered for him two years ago.
Noah stood up and looked at Katie, could he make things right?
"Katie, I don't know.." Noah responded, not fully knowing what to say.
Erin stepped forward and pulled her daughter away from the boy that has done nothing but hurt in the past two years.
"Go home Katie. I'll deal with this." Erin said calmly, staring Noah down.
Katie looked back at Noah before she left the spot.
"Mrs Hilton, you don't understand." Noah took a step back.
"I think I do." Erin replied, pushing the boy to the ground.
Noah propped himself up on his shoulders, "I'm sorry."
"You've done enough damage but... I won't kill you." Erin sighed turning from the boy.
"You were going to kill me?" Noah asked, panicked.
"No... But he will." Erin responded, pointing at Seymour who was standing at the edge of the woods.
Noah quickly stood up and looked at Seymour who waved at Erin.
"Hi Mrs Hilton! Hi Prick!" Seymour glared at Noah.
"He's all yours." Erin informed him, starting to walk back home.
While Erin left, she watched Seymour turning into his wolf form before he stormed towards Noah. When Erin arrived home, she saw Kasey on the laptop in the living room, writing.
"Hey Kasey, can I get arrested for letting someone get mauled by a werewolf for being a prick?" Erin asked curiously before adding,"Just asking for a friend here."
"Uh.. I don't believe you can. As long as you don't own the werewolf." Kasey answered, turning to her father, "Who's killing who?"
"Seymour's killing Noah." Erin told her, checking the time on her watch.
"Of course he is." Kasey nodded, "Dad, can I ask something?"
"Sure, what is it?" Erin replied, sitting down.
"I'm doing a report for English, about what my parents lifes were like when they were younger. I've asked Mom, and I just need yours, could you tell me?" Kasey asked.
Erin hesitated for a second before asking,"How much paper do you have, you might need a lot..."
