"Miya, where are you?" Maya shouted from the kitchen and instructed the help in charge," Savita, Just prepare something light. Rudra will not be here for a few days.."

The help in charge just nodded while Maya just shouted angrily with all the frustrations she had," Miya!"

As she walked across the hall, she knew that she would scold her little one for making her mumma run like this when she herself was late for work. Muttering a few curses and words to herself, she searched in the hall.

Soon enough, she heard her phone ringing from her bag. Activating the Bluetooth bud in her ear, she spoke," I will be there within a few hours. Don't worry."

Ending the call, she checked the balcony to just find the duo smiling, giggling and talking to each other.

She heard Miya's father speaking,

"So, dadda will only be back after a few days. Don't trouble mumma and take good care of her. Okay Meow?"

He made the sound of the cat at the end and his little girl scrunched her nose. He rubbed his nose with her while she giggled making her Dadda and Mumma smile.

Hearing some noise, he found that Maya was watching the duo holding the pendant he had gifted her a few years back.

Sighing, he averted her gaze to his kid and placed a kiss on her forehead to which Miya hugged him wrapping her hand around his neck just like Maya.

The dad-daughter duo was compatible to the most and Maya couldn't help but thank God for the wonderful relation the kid had with both of them.

Maya cleared her throat and got their attention. She showed her tiffin box in the end as she spoke," Miya, mumma has to go for work and even you have to go to school. Come. Let's go.."

As Miya went to her mumma, Maya kissed her cheeks before taking her holding her hand. She didn't miss to have a glance at Rudra who was swiping across his phone. Sighing, she left the room.

As soon as she left the room, Rudra looked up from his phone and smiled sadly. Looking through the balcony, he saw them leave. 

Opening the drawer, he took the newspaper which read,

"Has the couple drifted apart? Our close reports indicate that Maya Jaisingh and Rudra Roy has moved for a divorce and are in a courtship period for 6 months."

"Why do they have to publish all these nonsense? Who gave them the right and moreover, why do they think that if the couples don't show PDA, they are separated? "

He asked angrily to which he heard a voice," Isn't some part of it true?"

6 years has passed since the birth of Miya and things have changed drastically from the last 2 years, the time when Miya had joined school. They have engrossed in works and this is just a peek into their lives..
