My name is Jaden Coax, I was the most popular guy in Willow High, I practiced football almost every day to no end. Now my life is over, it ended my third year of high school.

~~~two years earlier~~~

Today I was getting ready for school like all the other days, I chose to wear a pair of ripped jeans and a button up shirt. I walked down the stairs to make myself some breakfast, which was normally an apple and some eggs. I got my backpack and threw it over my shoulder.

It was the beginning of the year as freshmen walked up to their friends and talked about how their first year of high school was going to be the turning point in their lives. I don't blame them, mine was, although one particular freshmen caught my eye. She had long bleach blonde hair tied up into a loose ponytail, baby blue eyes and wore a black tank top with a blue jacket over it.

The moment I saw her my heart started beating like crazy, of course I wanted her, but at the same time, I knew I could never have her. As she was walking my way I stayed cool and when she was close enough I stuck out my leg and tripped her. She quickly got up and kept walking, wait, did I know her? Ah! Of course, I had elementary school and middle school with her!

Her name is Sophie Brown, she must be around 15 now, I've had a crush on her since I met her, but like every other girl I've met, I knew I could never have her, so I did what I normally do when I find a girl I can't get, I tell myself that they aren't worthy of me and that I'm better than them. And by doing that I act like a complete asshole to them so I don't have to go through the pain of rejection.

Sophie is always kind to every person she's with, which is why I don't think she hates me, I think she's just scared of me. It's for the best anyway, it's better than getting heartbroken. So far I've some what subdued my feelings for her, but they still linger. I started walking to class when I saw my ex, Jennie. She walked up to me seductively and put her arms around my neck.

I glared daggers at her when I saw that she had the first three buttons of her blouse undone. No doubt trying to seduce me into getting back together with her. Damn it why can't she get a clue? I was getting pissed as she rubbed her chest against mine.

I pushed her off and went to class, 'damn that bitch now I'm going to be late!' I screamed in my head as I rushed to class. I've never been late in my life and I wasn't going to start then! Finally I got to my destination and walked in the door with 5 minutes to spare, but when I walked in the first person I saw was Sophie, meanwhile I was screaming in my head and glaring daggers at her. 'Goddamn it can this day get any worse?!' I thought as I sat down in my seat, which happened to be right next to hers, 'Yep' I thought as I tried to pay attention to the front of the class.

'Hopefully this day won't be too bad,' I thought as I just waited for the day to end.
