Through the eyes of Varya~

I'm Varya Das. Niece of Water Realm ruler Prakash Das. A mermaid by ethnicity. Yes, I'm supposed to be swimming happily in the water. I know.

I'm barely twelve years old, and I'm currently in charge of say, 'distant attacks on the Warfield', which is on the ground.

But then again, our Queen is barely fifteen and well, efficient enough. She also happens to be my first official fan. I write books.

I'M GOING CRAZY!!!!

THIS IS SO COOL!!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE MY FATE!!

I AM AT WAR!!

Sorry.

Sorry.

Sorry.

The first time I met Karishma di, I was sure I was going to be like her! Our personalities matched so much! Oh my my!

Currently, I am with the former ruler of the Enchanted Islands, who has just returned after collecting a hefty thousand people and placed them at the front yard of Pentatox, which by the way can be pretty much called a region in itself. It still didn't look crowded! That sucks!

No that doesn't!

My my!

'Varya, good job.' Cecila gave me a small smile. I had arranged for the cannons and the proper places for the officials to cast the magic. Everyone took their places hurriedly, and in barely ten minutes we were ready to fire. Cecila shielded us, with the best of her attempts to keep the enemy soldiers away, and it worked. Nothing was able to come inside Pentatox, which was a great deal. I was to look after the people and ensure that they were doing their best. I'm telling you, it didn't take me long enough to adjust to a life like this, but I still was unaware.

My action was so much different from real action!

But I love it!

And I'm proud Matilda taught me so much about my own magic. She is the best in the world, and her wisdom knows no bounds.

In almost five minutes, we spotted a huge gathering and accumulation of creatures, the battle had started.

'Fire everyone!' I screamed. 'Put your best foot forward, Etis shall win!'

And the josh, my my!

'Hey, why aren't you using your magic.' I asked a man, shortly after I got over my happy dance and actually looked around to see if someone needed help or was everyone doing their jobs. 'Guys, you're supposed to fire! Use your freakinnggg magic!'

Yes, look at the guts of some people. They stood there idly, almost a full two hundred of them, maybe even three hundred, not firing. Everyone was instructed and trained for this day. How could they?

'Hey, it's the Queen's orders, go on!' I shouted.

'We have other instructions.' One of them sharply said. I noticed that they were mermen and mermaids, we can sense each other's kind. Yes, Karishma had intermixed all forms of lives at all realms, so that there was an equal distribution of fighting.

'Suspend any sort of order from anyone, followed her!' I screamed hysterically. It made a lot of difference. A lot. We were here protected by Cecila's powers and Pentatox's upgraded security system, but Karishma, Ryan, and everyone else was out in the open field, fighting, risking their lives. 'Cecila, they aren't firing!'

Cecila turned around confused. She barked at them too, but in vain they paid no heed. Imagine Karishma in this situation, she would have ripped them off into pieces by now. Or maybe burned them into ashes.

yes.

kill them.

'Cecila, I'm finishing these people off.' I didn't even give her a chance to reply, I just closed my eyes, concentrated on every word Matilda had told me to remember, I had learned from her, for some reasons I remembered her more than ever, and in no time, a huge gush of air-filled into the location, accompanied by water and washed the people away to their death. They were mermen and mermaids, but they were underprepared to fight the water buzzing with electricity and was ice cold. I don't know how that electricity thing happened, nor did I know why only those who weren't putting their best efforts were washed off to aside, but anyway a heap of dead bodies lied at one corner of the yard.

Cecila just smiled at me, and everyone got to work with more enthusiasm than ever. Never had I seen or created such a big number of casualties in my twelve years of utter uneventful existence. I mean this didn't happen daily. War, and two evil villains threatening the peace and interdominal coexistence in Etis. Also, Etis never saw so many deaths. But then,

There was no room for traitors in the Fallen Queen's kingdom.
