"Thank the force we got off that planet."

" Master."
"Anakin!"
"Skywalker."
"Master!"
I groaned as my eyes began to slowly flutter open.
The bright hues of the burning sun stung my eyes when I managed to get them to open fully.
Everyone looked down at me, weak smiles pulling their cracked lips.
" Master!" Ashoka exclaimed.
" Quiet back there!" A deep, hoarse voice yelled.
And everything came flooding back. Watto had betrayed me and we were on our way to some horrid place. Most likely to be sold into slavery.
And for me, it's the second time.
Chains rattled and chafed my wrists and ankles as I tried to push myself up.
However, the drug they pumped into my system through the dart had some lingering effects. My muscles were still weak and felt like jelly.
" A little help here would be great." I snapped at Ashoka.
" Okay don't need to get all snippy." She rolled her eyes and scooted over to me.
She wrapped her hands around my biceps. Her jaw tightened as she pulled me up into a sitting position.
The mechanism of the chains yanked the chain wrapped around her neck sending her flying back to her original position. A hiss of pain whistling through her clenched teeth.
This action made the chains around all of our wrists chaff even more.
" Snips!" I cried in concern.
She groaned in pain as she pulled herself up with the help of the metal bars of our cage.
" I'm okay." She gave a small smile.
I looked out at the vast wastelands of sand surrounding us for miles and miles.
I looked down at the chains that held us together.
Say what you want about slavers but they really know how to tie people up.
They made a complicated link of chains that connected all of us together. It went down the side of the cart and linked under us like a cruel spiderweb.
I tried to gaze upon our captors however their faces were obscured with sand coloured masks.
" How long was I out?" I asked.
" Only a few hours. Three at the most." Obi-wan replied.
" Where are we going?" Ashoka asked.
The cart came to a shuddering halt slamming all of us against the bars.
One of the captors-the leader I assume based on how the others look down as he walks towards us- comes towards me. His black eyes glare into my blue eyes with anger and hatred.
" I said shut up!" He yelled, large droplets of spit flew damped his mask.
Being in a situation like this before I know that the only thing to do is to do as your captor says and shut up.
However, Ashoka does not know this. So being her typical self she presses her face against the bars.
" I'll shut up only if you tell us where we are going."
The man moved to her.
"I will tell you nothing youngling. Now get back."
" You will-" Ashoka began to raise her hand preparing to do a mind trick.
But the man turned back, stuck a large stick through the bars. As the end touched Ashoka's skin vile shocks of pulsing electricity flowed through her body.
She writhed in pain and screamed at the top if her lungs. The other men laughed at the sight which they found pleasing.
Once he grew bored the leader ended her torture and returned to his seat and we set off again.
And this time we listened to our captors and didn't utter a word.
As the suns set under the hills of sand we reached the looming castle of Jaba the Hutt.
"Of course." I mumbled under my breath.
The cart stopped and together we were led to the door by our chains.
Laughter and seductive music filled the darkroom where Jabba and his many bounty hunters awaited.
The bounty hunters cackled, their bodies hung over each other and their drinks spilling to the floor.
Many women- who are obviously slaves- danced to the music in extremely revealing outfits. Their shaking breasts and round behinds made Jabba's face smirk with delight.
In addition to alcohol, dried blood, and some smoke the room was scented by the horrendous smell of the fat slug seated on his cushion throne.
I hate Hutts!
As we were pulled into the center of the room the music and the laughter died and all the attention was on us.
Jabba glared at us then spoke to his droid in Huttese.
"The mighty Jabba requests to know the meaning of this." The droid said.
The leader bowed.
" Mighty Jabba I bring to you fugitives. These are Jedi,"
At the mention of our title gasps arose in the room.
Jabba in an angry tone yelled at the leader.
" How dare you bring Jedi into my palace." The droid said.
"Mighty Jabba these Jedi are wanted by the newly formed Empire that once was the rotten Republic."
Jabba spoke again.
" Why should this concern the mighty Jabba?"
"Mighty Jabba these wanted criminals will bring you great wealth should you sell them to Darth Sidious."
" For a slaver, he speaks very well." Ashoka whispered to me.
" I am surprised as you are." I quietly chuckled.
Jabba remained silent as he contemplated the decision laid out for him.
He spoke to his droid.
My shoulders sunk because I understood what he said but my friends had to wait for the droid.
"The mighty Jabba demands you take his new objects to the cells and contact Sidious immediately."
The man who captured us was given a reward of some money and we were led down to the dark dark cells.
The cells of Jabba's palace were as horrendous as one could imagine.
No light lit the cells making it difficult to see your hand in front of your face.
Filthy water was dripping into the puddles that covered the floor where we were expected to sleep on account that there are no beds.
The smell down in the cells was horrid but not as horrid as the smell of a Hutt. Nothing can really compare to their stench.
But the worst part of the cells was the screaming. The endless loop of tortured cries that only followed once a whip was cracked through the air.
It was a sound that I was all to familiar with. Flashes of my old life as a slave flashed past my eyes. All the countless horrors I've seen would make any man damaged and I sort of am. But not as much as others.
Despite not being able to see I know Obi-wan is watching me. Waiting to see if this situation will break me or not.
He knows better than anyone what scars- mental scars- I was left during my years as a slave.
But I won't break. Breaking down right now won't fix our problems.
But an escape will.
" We need to get out of here." I said my voice echoed through the cells.
" I wouldn't bother kid. Nobody ever escapes this horrid place!" A woman yelled back at me.
" I'm not just anybody!"
" Kids these days. So full of hope. Such a shame it kills them." The woman sighed then fell silent.
" What a cheerful lady." Ashoka said.
" When you're down in a place like this for a long time it is only natural to lose all hope for a better life. Which makes you a very sarcastic person." I said.
I can feel Ashoka's confused stare as to how I know that.
" Anakin is right though we need to get out of here. I'm sure Sidious has been told our location and is on his way." Obi-wan said.
"Yeah to kill us." Ashoka mumbled.
" And what do you suppose we do Skywalker?" Master Windu asked.
" I don't know just yet but if you let me think I will come up with something."
So I leaned back against the wall and got lost in my thoughts.
As morning sun peaked into our cell a plan peaked in my head.
Together using the force we all aimed to break the wall. And it worked.
" Escape!" One of the guards yelled.
" Go!" I yelled.
But first, we took back our lightsabers.
Then dodging blaster beams we made our way to a ship. I took the controls and sped off out of the atmosphere.
But we were met by a fleet of Republic cruisers.
"Master!" Ashoka yelled in fear.
" Everybody hold on!" I yelled.
Using every skill I've learned- but mainly spinning- I managed to way through the fields of blaster fire.
" Going into hyperspace."
I flipped the switches and our ship jumped into hyperspace.
We are free.
Well not entirely.
" Thank the force we got off that planet." I sighed.
" Yeah," Ashoka chuckled," But where to now?"
As I looked around at everybody and they all looked back at me it became obvious that no one had an answer.
An answer to our most important question.
Where do we go now?
