One month had passed. We had no clue about Chris. Will and I used to go out every night to find him. There were no calls, no messages from him. Sadness and frustration had become a part of my life. Days passed by. I had lost all hope until one morning.
"Wake up." I heard Will shriek.
"What? What happened?." I woke up, my heart beating faster. I looked at Will and understood by his expressions that nothing was as serious as he was acting it to be.
"What happened?" I again asked lying back on my bed.
"Chris happened." He said plucking the petals from a white rose.
"Chris? Where? How? What?." I asked looking here and there trying to find him.
He looked at me and raised an eyebrow.
"He won't just walk in and say hello. We need to find him." He said plucking the last petal from the flower.
"We are doing that from the past one month," I said looking at him.
"Well, there is a guy in town who might help us find your baby." He said looking at me.
"Human?" I asked.
"Wizard." He replied.
"What?" I said elongating the last letter.
"What?" He said mimicking my voice.
"A supernatural thing again?" I asked.
"Well, yes." He replied.
"Now do you want to find Chris?" He asked.
"Yeah," I said looking at the ceiling.
"So go and change or should I help you change?" He said mocking me.
I gave him a weird look and he made an expression like he didn't even care.
"Drive fast," I said hopping in the car.
"In your service madam," Will replied, his eyes on the road.

"Manresa," I mumbled reading the restaurant board as we reached our destination.
"Why are we in a restaurant?" I asked.
"Come in." He said opening the door for me.
The restaurant was filled with the aroma of delicious food. The lighting was beautiful. There were only a few people sitting.
"There," Will said pointing at a guy who was sitting at the bar counter.
We went up to him as he turned to show us his face. He looked at us and gave us a smile.
"Zach." He said giving me his hand.
"Mia," I said shaking hands with him.
"Come sit." He said.
"Would you like to have a drink?." Zach asked us.
"Well if you are asking me then yes," Will replied examing the place.
"Oh no. We don't need anything." I said looking at Will.
"We are here on a purpose. Be descent." I whispered to Will.
"Fine," Will said looking at the bartender.
"Well, I know you are a wizard. Will told me that you are ready to help us." I said gently smiling.
He raised an eyebrow and gave me a weird look. "Weirdo." I thought.
"Miss Mia let me tell you that I can read minds," Zach said smiling.
"Oops," Will said taunting me.
"I am so sorry," I said apologizing.
"Nevermind." He said.
"So I know you want to find Chris and you don't know where he is right?." Zach said folding his hands.
"Yes. He vanished one month before without letting either of us know. He is not picking my calls and I don't know what to do. We tried to find him in all possible ways but..." I stopped as I saw Will holding a girl's hand and saying "hey beautiful."
"Will," I yelled and punched him on his arm. He let the girl go. I apologized to Zach for Will's rude behavior.
"I think Brittney is involved in this," Zach said ignoring Will's rude behavior.
"Brittney? How did I forget about her." I said.
"Wait....how do you know her?" I asked as the realization hit me.
"I was his ex-boyfriend." He said leaning on his chair.
"Wait. So you are immortal. I mean you are like that six thousand-year-old guys?" I asked.
"Not that old." He replied.
"So you don't have a problem with us? I mean we had killed your girlfriend." I asked.
"Well, she just used me for my powers and I did not like that. I know she can do anything to get Chris back." He said.
"How can we kill that little bitch?" Will asked.
"There are some spells. But I won't give you guys false hope." Zach said.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"The spells might not work." He replied.
"But we can try," Will said.
"Take this," Zach said giving me a small bottle.
"What's this?" I asked.
"If you spray this on her she will become weak but only for some time." He said.
"Oh," I said looking at the bottle.
"Call me if you need any help," Zach said handing me his phone number and then leaving the restaurant.
I immediately looked at Will and yelled.
"Can't you be a bit responsible? You could have ruined everything." I said going towards the car to go back to Will's house.
I spent the rest of the day planning how we could find Chris and how we could fight against Brittney. Will helped me out. It was difficult to handle both Will's humor and the supernatural things together, but eventually, I did it. It was midnight by the time we finished our first plan.
"It's 12 am now," Will said yawning.
"Ya, I think we should sleep now," I said stretching my hands.
All of a sudden my phone vibrated with a call. It was from Alice.
"Who?" Will asked.
"Alice. I'll pick up." I said pressing the green button.
"Hey Al..." I did not complete the sentence when I heard her sobbing.
"What happened?" I asked tucking my hair behind my ear, my heart beating faster.
"A girl named Brittney broke into my house and almost killed me." She said sobbing.
"Brittney?" I said looking at Will.
"Can you please come over.?" She asked sobbing bitterly.
"Ya, I am," I said hanging up the call.
"Brittney just attacked my friend. We need to go." I said picking up the bottle which Zach had given me.
"Wait." He said.
"What? We need to go." I said.
"Brittney has laid a trap for us." He said.
"So what should I do? Let her kill my friend?" I asked.
"I think we should now execute our first plan." He said picking up his car key.
"Ya," I said dialing Zach's number.
