~Location: Christophsis, Munificent-class Frigate~

It has been a few weeks after the success of the Separatist gaining control over Christophsis and her resources, and an added bonus, they captured Republic Senator Bale Organza and defeated the Christophsis Insurgents, and it was a few weeks after Jaune received his promotion as Colonel, which is huge achievement to the Arc.

Jaune at the moment is in command chair as he observes his droids doing their task.

OOM-116 walks up to him, which caught the Arc's attention, "Sir, we're receiving a transmission from Count Dooku."

"Patch him in..." Jaune said as he stood up from his command chair.

OOM-116, nodded and gestures the Pilot droids to activate the transmission. The hologram of Dooku appears as Jaune straighten his posture and gave the Count as Salute.

"Sir!" Jaune saluted.

["At ease Colonel,"] Dooku nodded as Jaune stop saluting, ["...I hope you rested well, you have another task at hand."] Dooku informs him.

"What is it?"

A hologram of the Ryloth Blockade is shown, ["...as you are aware, not long after taking control over Ryloth, Wat Tambor is facing some resistance in the surface below, and any possible chance the Republic will send in a task force to liberate Ryloth from Separatist Rule, you will assist Captain Mar Tuuk in the Blockade. Understood?"]

"Yes, my lord." Jaune bowed, which Dooku grinned in satisfaction.

["Very good... good luck on your task, Colonel."] Before Dooku cuts transmission, Jaune interjected.

"Sir, if I may interject, why are you asking me?" Dooku looks at Jaune with a raised eyebrow, "...I'm not disrespecting your decision or anything, I'm just asking.... my not Jut or any Separatist Officer?"

["...Well due to your Tactical reports on the blockade and your recent promotion, I believe you're the perfect candidate for this task at hand, this includes the fact you defended Rodia from a Republic Task Force with the Separatist Militia. Also the fact you're close to the Ryloth system."]

"Oh... I understand, don't worry sir, I will do my best." Jaune said in a determined.

Dooku nodded before cutting off transmission. Jaune then looks at his SIC and said.

"OOM-116, I want to have our fleet ready jump to Ryloth." Jaune orders.

"Roger Roger!" OOM-116 saluted, before looking at Pilot Droids, "Prepare to make the jump to hyperspace, destination: Ryloth. And give the order to the rest of our fleet."

"Roger Roger!" The Pilot Droids nodded as they start working on the console, while Jaune sat on his Command Chair.

Droids are seen typing in the coordinates, before the Pilot Droid, B1-875 announces.

"Jumping into Hyperspace in 3... 2... 1!"

The Four Munificent-Frigates soon jumps into hyperspace, to their destination; Ryloth.

~Timeskip, Ryloth~

Jaune's fleet appears out of hyperspace ti Ryloth, and just as they appeared. They see the blockade itself, a Lucrehulk-class Battleship flanked by two Munificent-class frigates over Ryloth.

They soon received a transmission from the Separatist Captain of the blockade, Mar Tuuk.

"...We're receiving a transmission from the lead ship."

Jaune let's out a sigh of relief and said, "Patch him in..."

"Roger Roger!"

The Droid then starts typing things in the monitor, as a hologram of Mar Tuuk appears.

["Are you the reinforcements, that Count Dooku sent?"] Mar Tuuk asked.

"Yes Captain... I'm a part of the Admiral Trench's fleet from Christophsis." Jaune confirmed.

["Good... Position Your fleet on the blockade immediately..."] Mar Tuuk orders.

"Yes, Captain..." He nods in acknowledgement as he cuts transmissions.

Just as his fleet are approach the blockade, a Pilot droid operating the the navi-Computer reported.

"Sir, we're detecting an unknown high energy reading!"

"What?! Where is it coming from?" Jaune exclaims.

Then a vortex soon appears out of nowhere infront of Jaune's Fleet.

Startled, Jaune's fleet comes to a full stop as they gaze on the vortex in shock, but out of all them. Jaune is most shock out of all of them.

Then a transmission from Mar Tuuk patch through, as his blockade also witness the unknown vortex.

["Colonel! What's happening over there?!"]

One of the Pilot droids answered.

"Sir, It looks like some sort of vortex... and you can see it leads to an unknown solar system, with a planet and... a shattered moon?" The Pilot Droid reported.

One of the Pilot Droids looks over the stunned Arc, "Sir, should we investigate this anomaly?" One of Pilot Droid asked the Arc.

The vortex then slowly closes, which doesn't go unnoticed by the Droids.

"Uh... sir, the vortex is slowly closing... what should we do?" OOM-116 asked.

But Jaune didn't respond. OOM-116 looks at his Colonel and asked gain.

"Sir?" OOM-116 asked.

Jaune stood there in silence as he gaze at his Former home in shock, he didn't think he would be see Remnant after all this time.

Jaune was conflicted whether or not he should enter the vortex that lead to Remnant or stay where he is now... he hesitated.

Will he really go back to Remnant after all the torment he went through? The betrayal and abandonment of his former friends and family. Jaune is considering on letting the vortex close, but there's small part of himself left in Remnant.

He has people that stayed by his side, even when his transcript was revealed.

He was brought out of his thoughts by his droids, as he turned to face them, "Sir, your orders? The Vortex is closing." OOM-116 pointed out.

Jaune said nothing in return as he watches the vortex slowly close.

He has made his decision...

"Let it close... it's not worth the risk..." Jaune said, hiding the pain in his voice.

The Droids said nothing, but complied to the order as they watch the Vortex slowly fade away.

As much as it hurts Jaune... he lets the vortex slowly close. Losing the opportunity to return to Remnant.

Not only he is dropping the opportunity to return to Remnant with his small fleet, he is losing the opportunity to be reunited with the people who cares for him; His friends Ruby, Team CFVY, his sister Saphron, his sister-in-law Terra, and his young Nephew Adrian.

But that was all in the past, and it has been 5 years and he has become accustomed to where he lives now, and fights for a greater cause than what the Huntsmen and Huntresses has.

The Confederacy of Independent Systems.

Jaune watches as the vortex fades, and vanishes completely. Leaving no trace.

However the transmission of the Separatist Nemodian is still patch in, he looks at at Jaune with his narrowed eyes.

["Colonel! Can you explain to me what just happened?! What was on the other side of that vortex!?"] Mar Tuuk exclaims looking at Jaune for any explanation.

Jaune said nothing as he walks back to his command and sat down before he looks at the Nemodian.

"...it was nothing, Captain..." Jaune replied back, "...it's just an unknown anomaly...
that's just it..."

Mar Tuuk looks at the Arc in suspicion, before the Separatist Captain cuts communications.

Jaune leans on his command chair as he lets out an exasperated sigh of frustration as he face his prosthetic hand over his face.

He removes his servo from his face and looks at the Droids who looks back at him with worry.

"Uh...sir... are you familiar with that planet?" OOM-116 asked, reffing to the vortex they just witness.

Jaune was silent he looks away before answering, "...I am... and I don't talk about it..."

He looks at OOM-116 and orders, "...Have our fleet position on middle of the blockade."

And he looks down with a downcast expression.

OOM-116 was about to ask more regarding the Vortex they witness that leads to remnant, but the downcast expression of his Colonel face said otherwise. The OOM Command Droid decides it's not best to pry some answer from Jaune... for now.

"Very well... sir..." OOM-116 nodded in acknowledgment before ordering the rest of the fleet moves position in the blockade.

After that was said and done, Jaune Arc then left the bridge, leaving his OOM-Command Droid to take control his fleet as heads back to his personal quarters.

Jaune has much to think about for now...
