Jerome

"What the fudge is a 'Sky Base?" Preston asked. Lachlan shrugged. "I guess we'll have to find out." He replied. We were all sitting around the fire Preston made, using it for warmth in the cold desert night. When it wasn't super hot, it was freezing cold. Preston didn't seem to be affected by the heat, but the cold did seem to take a toll on him. He was sitting super close to the fire...
"Jerome!" Mitch broke me from my thoughts. I didn't realize I dazed off...

"What do ya' say we leave for this Sky Base tomorrow?" He asked. I nodded. Vikk (Vik?) yawned. "Great. That means we should get some sleep..." he trailed off. Now that I think about it, he did look pretty tired. I also noticed Lachlan kept shuffling his feet. Pretty strange, but I don't even know what normal is anymore. I then decided I should get some sleep early as well, so I took off my bacca beanie and used it as a pillow. And then it hit me.
"Mitch! Lachlan!" I yelled, and everyone exept Vikk, who was already asleep, turned to look. "Why didn't you get wool for beds?!" I groaned, the stone floor feeling cold, even with the fire. Mitch looked slightly to the left. "Uhhhhhh.... I forgot?" I mentally facepalmed. "My Notch Mitch." I sighed, closing my eyes. "Sorry. Biggums." Mitch murmured. I blinked open my eyes, looking at the Canadian. He layed across from me, his eyes closed. He looked like he was asleep, but I knew he wasn't. I could see Lachlan making faces out of the corner of my eye, but I ignored it.

I smiled, and closed my eyes, waiting to enter the sweet comfort of sleep. Instead, I was dragged into a dream. Well, it started out like a nightmare...

I was falling in darkness. I didn't know what to do, or where to go... I couldn't see my hand in front of my face! An invisible wind seemed to whip my hair, and I found I didn't have my beanie, so it must have fallen off. Suddenly I felt myself make impact with the ground, which seemed to come out of nowhere. I stood up, and rubbed my head. Where was I?

I was in a grassy feild, and it was night, but I couldn't see the moon or stars. I wondered why, but soon dropped the question as I saw two figures standing not to far away. I wondered who they were. They looked familiar, but I couldn't remember who they were...
I walked a bit closer, curiosity taking over. As I walked through the long grass in the darkness, the two figures became clearer. One had glowing white eyes and a baggy blue tee shirt that was a ripped up. The other had a brown shirt with a black beard. I knew them! I knew them... I couldn't put my finger on who they were.
The one with the glowing eyes was on top of the other. He was smirking, wielding a bloodstained dagger. It looked as though he was about to bring it down on the other man's chest. "Stop!" I called, trying to stop the strange man from killing him. They didn't even seem to hear me. "Hey-" I started to call again, but realized it was pointless. They couldn't hear me.
I watched as the one on top began to speak. "It didn't have to be this way, you know. Your 'Heroes' have Fallen. They can't save you now." The man smirked, placing his dagger on the other man's neck. "That's what you think..." The other man grunted. The one on top chuckled. "No, that's what I know." There was a silence as the man in brown took a deep breath, before he spoke yet again. "Don't underestimate them. They will come again , and stop you." There was a rustle in the grass, and a dark silhouette approached the two, a cloak covering his eyes. He held a golden sword, and was sneaking up on the two. I opened my mouth to intervene, but decided not to, because they couldn't hear me anyways. The cloaked figure suddenly tackled the man on top, knocking him into the grass. I jumped back to avoid getting in the way.
The hood flew off the figure, and I saw some dark brown hair. The boy also had green eyes. And yes, he looked familiar as well. He held the sword the the man's throat, kind of like what happened with the other guy. "Give up, Herobrine," he snarled. "You can't win this fight."
'So that's Herobrine! Who's that?' I thought.

Herobrine smirked. "That's all you got? Honestly, Sky." Sky looked pissed. Herobrine didn't seem to notice Notch get up behind him, until he turned and somehow flung him far away. "Not even your God can save now now." The boy looked at me, and whispered "Help..." before the dream started to fade away.
¤~¤~¤ [Oh snap! What do I write here again? Never mind!]

I was woken up by someone shaking me. "Go away... I was dreaming!" I groaned. "Sorry buddy, but you gotta get up!" I instantly regonized Mitch's voice. "But Meeeeetch...." "Jerome!" I sat up slowly and whispered, "But Meeetch...." He smiled at me, then stood back up. "We need to do what the book said, I guess. Remember?" He told me. "Yeah..." He held out a hand for me to grab. "Well, come on!" I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up.
"The others are waiting." He told me, exiting the new hole that was supposed to be the exit, a block of cobblestone that I had mined using my pickaxe was keeping the sand from falling. Yes, I still had my pick. I thought about naming it Baby Slick, but I hadn't decided yet.

As I exited, I imeadiatly saw the others. They were all looking at Lachy's book. "So I found a map in the book, which tells us we need to go to the forest that Mitch found when we were out hunting-" I turned to face Mitch, who was also watching from a distance. "Why didn't you wake me sooner?" I asked. He shrugged. "You looked peaceful... ish."

I smiled and looked at Mitch, who was listening to the others. 'Maybe I can be friends with him.' I thought. 'Maybe we already are.'
Something grabbed me from behind, yanking me from my thoughts, and making me jump. "Ahh! Freddy!" I yelled. I heard laughter, and turned around to see Lachlan. Instead of yelling at him, I simply told him, "I'll get my revenge, Lachy... I will..."

"Okay guys, really. We should go, and maybe get there before dark." Vikk said. I started heading twoards the group. "Okay, that means we need to stick together. So, nobody wander off!" I said. "Jerome's right." Preston declared. "Stick together. That means you, Mitch."

"Aww."
