The Prophet
Why is h-he here?!
"I'm bathing like you told me too! Why are you here?!" I shout covering my body with my hands just in case if he sees
"I know. But the bath is currently being occupied." He tells me and walks up to the water and immerses himself in it.
"Y-you have plenty of baths don't you?!" I raise my voice.
"What if I wanted to be here?" He says and smiles maliciously.
I quiver.
"Calm down. That bath is the only one I can use the rest are for other people which is off my limits. The only alternative is this ... swamp. So don't think you're special." He says crossing his arms.
"Doesn't it bother you though?" I ask, still in horror.
"No." He answers and he comes closer to me.
Then he's about a metre beside me. I get nervous.
I scooch away from him a bit and he suddenly gets angry.
"Am I that of a deterrent?!" He raises his voice and he comes even closer and pulls me into him.
I quiver again nervously.
"Don't you dare move." He orders me.
His arm is wrapped around my neck locking me into this uncomfortable position. Where I'm against his body.
Someone comes out of the castle and is running out towards us. She has long golden hair and emerald eyes.
"Jack! You can go in the bath now I'm done!" She shouts then she notices me and stops, "What's going on here?"
I look at her carefully she doesn't have wings ... she's a mortal.
"Don't worry Rapunzel ... I'm just teasing her." He says and grins.
"Oh gosh you've got to stop doing that. And ... I'm ammusing that you're the new angel slave? Elsa?" She says and looks at me. I nod.
She looks at me with sympathy, "Poor Angel."
"Umm ... relative?" I ask.
"Well I kind of. I've been with Jack his whole life. I'm the family prophet." She says.
"She's the one that sends messages to the royal family. God granted her immortality to be able to send messages in heaven, hell and in between." The Prince explains, "But she lives here."
"Wait ... couldn't you live in Heaven?" I ask her.
"I don't see what's wrong with living in Hell." She shrugs.
"I can name plenty of reasons." I mutter quietly.
The Prince gets out and covers himself with his wings."I'm going to dry myself off." He says and goes back inside.
"Well the main reason I wanted to live here was because of Jack." She says and smiles.
"Huh? Are you lovers?" I ask.
She chuckles, "I'm older than I look. Let's just say I'm a mother to him."
"And how did you become a prophet?" I ask her.
"Well I was locked up inside a tower. And I prayed for freedom. God answered my prayers and my debt was to become a prophet ... only for a short time but I grew to love this job. And I couldn't leave Jack." She explains.
I wonder what happened with them.
I get out of the bath and I change into my clothes. Black and clean silky material.
Guess it's black so the dirtiness won't show.
"Oh and that's right!" Rapunzel says and raises her finger, "You must go for a quick visit to heaven to meet your suitor. Tomorrow."
"Suitor?!" I raise my voice, I wasn't even consulted about this!
"Oh well, you're fiance." She says then clears her throat, "Your future husband." (Dear future husband, if you wanna get- I have to stop.)
"No no no. Just send them a message back saying that I'm not ready." I tell her.
"Unfortunately, this is a closed message I cannot send any refusal as a response. Only enquiries." She tells me.
The Prince walks back to us, "Hey, what's all this about?"
I ignore him and address the matter at hand, "Look! I'm not going up there ... you know what he should come here." I say sternly.
Rapunzel nods, "Okay so you request for your family to come to hell ... yes?"
I shake my head ... but wait ...
"Actually can you tell my family that I cannot be relieved of my duties so I must stay in hell." I say to her and smile cheekily.
"Well I guess that response is that type of refusal. Ok ... I understand I will send the response to the Arendelle Family." Rapunzel says and suddenly speeds off ... I guess it's her job though.
"Tell me what's going on!" The Prince demands.
"My family wants to visit Heaven tomorrow so I can meet my apparent future husband." I explain, "But I'm not ready."
"But you're still going to marry him?" He asks leaning a bit towards me.
I shrug, "Well I have to I have no choice. Angel marriages are always arranged by the parents so I must marry him but ... I'm not ready to meet him yet." I explain.
"... I see ... how unfortunate." He mumbles and walks away.
"Are you okay?" I ask.
"I'm fine!" He yells angrily at me.
What's his problem?
