Emily and Julia were turning 14 soon. They lived in in a small cabin by a big mountain called Et. Ebott with a forest near by. It was a small town. Their parents said they were going to go out to dinner, but the twins knew that they were just going to get their birthday presents; but being good children they pretended they didn't know. So they made a quick dinner for themselves, watched a movie, raided the fridge, and went to sleep. Then, a little while later they heard a ruffling noise outside, they crept to the window and saw Biscuit,their dog, sprinting up the mountain. Their parents told them to never go up it since they were really little, but they thought for a quick moment and agreed to go after him because they thought their parents wouldn't be home 'till late. So they quickly slipped on their boots and a sweater, and sprinted out the door, up the mountain after him.
     Running as fast as their legs could carry them they ran up the mountain hoping they could catch him before they went to far up the mountain so they can get back down without getting lost, but Biscuit didn't even slow down, it was like he was on autopilot just running straight as if he'd been here before. They were getting really tiered but kept going knowing at one point they'd get him. They ran for about 20 min. and started to realize they were about half way up now and they started losing hope that they wouldn't catch him in time. But then, he stopped, with tears in their eyes they ran to him. When Julia tried to grab him, he jumped but she caught him, but she tripped on a tree root and fell into a hole. Emily, without thinking, grabbed her wrist but was just hanging on the ledge of the big hole. Using one hand to hold her and with the other she was holding a nearby branch. With all her strength she pulled Julia up as far as up as she could. Emily then smiled and said," I got ya Julie!" but she celebrated to soon, the branch broke from all the weight and they fell down the big deep dark hole. Then everything went black and there was no sound it was all swallowed up in darkness.
