I groaned for the third time in the past week, opening my eyes again. I was laying against a tree, with two figures sitting in front of a fire before me.

"Ow..." I said, as my head began to throb. The two girls before me stopped giggling and whispering to each-other and looked up at me.

"Morning sunshine." said one, who I recognized as Usis.

"Who hit me?" I asked.

"Me." replied Cricket casually, who was sitting next to her.

"It hurt. Did you hit me with a mountain or something, Lloyd?" I asked, adding a reference that I knew no one would get.

"First; I'm not Lloyd. Did I hit you that hard? And Second; I hit you with a thick stick." Cricket picked up what looked like a small tree trunk to show me.

"That's a baby tree trunk." I said. She looked at it, before looking back at me.

I heard a noise next to me and saw Noah with his hands tied to a different tree.

He opened his eyes and immideatly glared at me, before looking at the two girls sitting oddly close together. I smirked at them briefly as I noticed this, before turning to the blonde glaring at me.

"So, Temperance, why don't you kindly tell this couple how you murdered me and your former friends?" said Noah, somewhat voicing my thoughts. 

"Murdered?" asked Usis, sounding somewhat concerned.

"Hey, I didn't know she would get out the moment everyone was in the room and I had no idea she would kill you!" I snapped. "Also, I didn't technically murder you. I helped a very close friend escape imprisonment. She chose to kill you."

"Explain." snapped Cricket, looking at me.

"Fine." I said. "So many many many years ago, when I was a little first grader, I didn't have a lot of friends. But there was this cute girl in my class who had no friends, and I felt bad for her. She was bullied a lot because she was a Triplet. She was the third. So one day I sat with her at lunch, and we became incredibly close friends ever since. 

"When I was in Fifth grade, I discovered an online site where you could read and share books. there I met quite a few friends. Now, I was still incredibly close with the triplet, but she began to worry I would become too close to the other people I met.

"When I was in high school, I organized a meetup with my online friends at a big event known as Vidcon. It's where nerds meet up with their inspirations. 

"So once we all discovered we weren't all creepy 40-year-old men in their mom's basement, we started hanging out more. My triplet friend became concerned about me leaving her, but she never really voiced her worry.

"Time skip a few years, me and the others all move into a town in Ohio. We live in separate houses, but we became very close. And, we met a few more people. Now, the town we live in is known for hosting a lot of people with enhanced abilities. And it was becoming a problem. There was a superhero that was defending the town, but she needed help. I coincidentally got some powers, and befriended the girl. 

"We all eventually decided to become a huge superhero team, but the triplet refused. She began to voice her worries, and we got into a huge argument.

"It was very hard on both of us, especially because... well, it was ruining our relationship. My superhero team noticed this, and in an effort to get us back together they made us both go on a supply run..."

I was having trouble continuing, as the memories began to flow into my mind. Seeing my best friend, and the love of my life, laying in my arms dieing got me choked up. And that we never really made up.

"We were hit by a car and she... she almost died. But, my team had been working on a project to heal terrible injuries. We tried it on her and it worked... mostly. She forgot everything, and grew to hate us. So I did the only thing I thought I could. I got her out of there. But it didn't work as planned, and she killed over half of my friends. Including Noah." I said, before stopping.

It was eerily silent, except for my heavy breathing as I tried not to break down over the accident that took place years ago.

Noah was the first to speak. "You forgot something." he said.

"What?"

"You were planning to propose to the triplet before the argument. I saw the ring. I saw it all."
