"Ghost!" The spartan II warned, while quickly headshotting three grunts

Noble Six jumped onto the ghost's hood and kicked the grunt out, the force killing him

"Nicely done, go on I'll catch up!" Reaper told, sprinting towards the cliff while Six boosted towards the AA Gun and mowing down a group of grunts

When Reaper arrives he notices an Elite general holding a plasma launcher, targeting Six as he gunned down the surrounding hostiles as he bobbed and weaved, the Commander spoke over the comms "Six, watch the rooftop, there's a general tracking you!" It seemed like Six acknowledged, as he boosted forward and around the building

Reaper began to fire at the General while he was distracted, sending him into a rage and ran to cover behind a stack of crates, meanwhile Six assassinated two grunts in the building then snapped a distracted Ultra's neck before slowly moving up the stairs

Before either Spartan got a chance to attack the general again, a spirit came in and dropped a group of Elite Rangers, wielding various covenant weaponry, seeing the fact Six is on the stairs on the outside with Rangers coming in from multiple angles with a general upstairs, Reaper sprinted towards the group of Rangers as fast as he could, while Six held his position and returned fire from his exposed "cover"

One of the remaining grunts unfortunately spotted the incoming Spartan and warned the group of Elites, who split up into two groups, one of which began to flank Six from multiple angles, while the other group focused on the newly arrived Spartan, who immediately tackled an elite with a needle rifle and stabbed him in the neck, grabbing said needle rifle and shot the grunt in the head and fired on the concussion rifle elite headed for Six

Six, who was getting tired of waiting, ran to the top and faced off against the general, when the group of Rangers jetpacked towards the roof, surrounding Six and the general

"Stand down, I'll deal with this demon myself." The general ordered the rangers in their native tongue, before igniting his energy sword

Before long, a Phantom flew in and dropped off two ghosts behind Reaper, who just finished with his group of elites, to which he grabbed a plasma grenade and thrown it onto the ghost on the right, the grenade sticking to the left wing and before long, exploding

With the first ghost down, and the second slightly damaged, Reaper ran behind the rock before he would be run over, putting his DMR on his back, he pulled out his M6G and shot the driver in the head as he rounded the corner

Meanwhile, Six's duel with the general was more of a one way battle, so the general thought when the general rushed Six, the spartan grabbed a ranger and swapped places with him, before the ranger was stabbed in the elite equivalent of an abdomen, bringing him to the brink of death

The now shocked and outraged elites now began to fire at Six, while the general set down the fallen ranger gently, before also being used as a meat shield, and eventually thrown towards the two remaining elites

Reaper, seeing an opportunity, grabbed a dead Ranger and used his body and jetpack to fly up and land on the roof behind the remaining elites, before he grabbed both of their heads and smashed them together, then pulled out his M6G again and shot them both in the head

"Activate the AA gun before any more arrive!" Reaper told, pointing towards the button before he reloaded his magnum and holstered it

As Six activated the AA gun, they noticed a pelican fly in

Sword Control: Good work Spartans, return go Sword Base. The rest of your team is inbound, imminent.

"Thanks, understood Control. We're on our way." Reaper replied, while the 'Hog dropped off with a trooper in the gunner seat

"Hop in, sirs!" The trooper said, jumping out and entering the passenger seat

"We'll be there!" Reaper yelled back, the duo jumping down and running towards the 'Hog, before Reaper halted

"Hmm. That could be useful." Reaper told himself under his breath

The distracted spartan ran inside the second building and grabbed a sniper rifle, before crouching over the fallen trooper and closed his eyes

"Rest easy, friend. You did your duty." Reaper said quietly, mourning the fallen soldier before running back towards the 'Hog

Six jumped in the driver seat, until Reaper spoke up

"Oh no, I'M driving." The spartan said playfully, before handing the sniper to the new trooper "Keep your head down, and good luck." Reaper ordered, handing two more sniper magazines to the trooper, who nodded

Six jumped onto the turret while the Commander climbed into the driver's seat and floored it towards the rocks, wanting to do a full sweep of the outer side of the base before returning

As they neared the end of the rock walls, a ghost opened up on them, Six returning the favor as infantry moved up, before being gunned down by a third party

"Looks like we had the same idea!" It was Vinnie, waving towards her Commander from behind the wheel of the original 'Hog, before Reaper realized it's only her and Ashley

"Where's K-" Reaper began before the ghost blew up, it was the doing of a third 'Hog armed with a gauss cannon, wielded by no other than Kat herself "Ah, there you are." Reaper stated

"What, did you miss me?" Kat asked rhetorically

"We'll head towards the base from the direction you came from, you do the same with ours." Reaper told, before driving in-between the other two 'Hogs
