Eight years later, I walk down the very same cliff that I did when I was about to end my life.
This time, I wasn't alone.
I looked at the magical decorations around me as the people smiled at me in awe.
I continued to walk down the aisle as my fiancé stood at the end of the aisle and beamed at me.
Soon, we were exchanging vows.
"Do you, Ned, take Amy to be your lawfully wedded wife?" the pastor asked.
"I do," he said as he took my hands in his.
"And do you, Amy, take Ned to be your lawfully wedded husband?".
"I do."
"With the power invested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride."
Ned pulled me into a long, deep kiss, like he did when we started being together seven years ago.
I continued living in my house all by myself, but I visited Ned and the people of his village every weekend. I'd been doing this for the past eight years.
"I promise to never leave you alone. I'm your home, and you're mine. And if you ever fall, I'll always be there to hold you," he whispered into my ear.
