Karli then threw a sharp spear at Y/N, but Bucky caught it in time. Then she and Sam threw their shields at the Flag Smashers before they caught them and Sam landed beside them. Karli took her mask off in betrayal.

"You of all people bought into that bullshit?" Karli asked.

"I'm trying something different. Maybe you should do the same," Sam told her.

Karli shook her head before explosions went off from Flag Smashers shooting smoke bombs on the ground. This made them make their escape and the others followed.

"This way," Sam said after seeing them through his mask.

They all went further into the construction, going underground.

"Hey, Sharon. We're underground. We entered the tunnel on William. Heading south," Bucky informed.

"Looks like they split up. Here," Sam said.

Walker then separated from them.

"I got it," Bucky assured before kissing his wife on the cheek and following Walker.

"I'll see if I can ambush her," Y/N said.

"Okay. Be careful," Sam told her.

She nodded and proceeded to where Karli might be.

Bucky and Walker continued on their search while Sam continued on foot for Karli.

Y/N then found Karli and hid, hoping to actually ambush her. There was whistling, making both women curious.

"Dovich? Dovich, is that you?" Karli called.

But who came out wasn't who she expected.

"Drop your weapon, Karli," Sharon said, Karli didn't listen, then Sharon ordered "I said drop it."

This made Y/N stay in her hiding spot, knowing Sharon had this.

"I'm disappointed in you," Karli replied.

"That's what I was gonna say," Sharon said, they put their weapons down, then Sharon continued, "You know, when you came to Madripoor, you reminded me of a young me. I took you in, gave you an opportunity, and you betrayed me."

"Because you wanted to control a world that hurt you. But I wanted to change it. I'm not interested in power or an empire. I have bigger dreams," Karli pointed out.

"What, like this? Come back and work for me again. All of you. We can make a difference together," Sharon tried to persuade.

"You just want me because you need your muscle back. Without us Super Soldiers, how much power does the Power Broker really have?" Karli asked.

"More than you," Sharon said.

"So, you're the Power Broker," Batroc replied, coming out of his hiding place.

And this was where Y/N almost freaked out.

"You hired Batroc to spy on me," Karli guessed.

"Karli, you know I'm always prepared," Sharon said.

"Get outta my way," Karli ordered.

"I'm done with these games," Batroc remarked, getting his gun out.

He then aimed it at Karli.

"Maintenant Power Broker, vous me paierez quatre fois ce que vous aviez dit. Four times. Or...Je dirai au monde entier qui tu es vraiment. Okay?" Batroc said.

(A/N "Now Power Broker, you will pay me four times what you said you would." and "I'll tell the whole world who you really are.")

"I don't do blackmail," Sharon remarked.

She then shot Batroc in the head, but Karli shot her in the gut.

"Sharon!" Y/N shouted as she ran to her.

That's when Sam ran in to see what happened.

"Sam, stay back," Karli commanded.

"So, what's next, huh? You kill ten this time, then, what, a hundred? Where does it end? Please, let me help you," Sam told her.

"Don't try and manipulate me," Karli growled before raising her gun to Sharon.

"Karli, don't!" Sharon and Y/N shouted.

Then Sam tackled Karli and they really got into it.

"I'm not gonna fight you!" Sam said, they ended up in a shield lock before Sam added, "Karli."

They continued fighting until she knocked Sam on the ground hard.

"Stay down!" Karli ordered.

Sam stood up and refused, "No."

Meanwhile, Y/N was trying to help Sharon out.

"Go...help Sam," Sharon said.

"Sharon, you just got shot," Y/N pointed out.

"Just...go," Sharon strained.

"Fine...Power Broker," Y/N groaned before running after Sam and Karli.
