•Despite his usually stoic features, Lucian is actually quite a playful and charming guy. He doesn't talk much because he has a thick French accent, but otherwise is actually really friendly and gentlemanly.
•He loves teasing Camellia, whom he's known since they were children. Lucian playfully calls her things like mistress, milady, and sometimes even Princess and Camellia responds by calling him Luci (a childhood nickname), Servant, Butler or even Peasant.
•He has an aura of security. Just being around him naturally makes you feel as if nothing could hurt you. Camellia describes it as 'feeling as if he has the soul of a loyal knight in a past life—that, or a guard dog'

•Lucian was born and raised in the slums of France. His parents both worked minimum wage, as they weren't able to afford college, and with the twins on the way, Lucian knew he had to do something to help.  By age 10, he was already working for Camellia's family, and he and his two brothers were practically adopted by Camellia's grandmother.  He got close to Camellia whenever she came over for summer break, and came to understood her like no one else did.  So when he heard that she was going to be on the titanic, he volunteered to accompany her—not like she would ever need to know that, though.
