Cyder, despite being rather quiet, is actually really expressive. Just in a different way. He's not very touchy (something about body heat and the feeling of someone else's skin on him just really makes him uncomfortable) but he loves expressing himself through more artsy mediums. For example; if he likes you, he would often draw you, and would allow you to be close as long as you don't touch him. If he enjoys talking to you, he would be extra careful with what he says and would give you little note cards or sticky notes that have a little picture or smiley faces.
He's never seen without a small hand held notepad which is filled with little drawings and even some poetry. Cyder is really intelligent for his age, his mind bursting with new ideas and constantly overfilling with thoughts, which is why he sometimes has a horrible stutter. Because he has so much to say, and not enough time to say it.
Despite being very bright, Cyder is also very innocent. He gets incredibly upset whenever people curse around him, and always scold people whenever they get too negative and pessimistic. He's also incredibly loyal, and sometimes to the point of being naive and gullible whenever someone he trusts tells him something.
『LIKES』
As said earlier, Cyder enjoys poetry and drawing, he has a soft spot for any of the fine arts really. He's a huge dog lover. He loves card games but is actually horrible at them. He loves drawing the sky as his favorite colors are yellow and blue. He's most comfortable in tight, cramped spaces and enjoys scaring his friends with his powers.
『DISLIKES』
He hates physical contact, not even his friends could hug him for too long without him getting squirmy. Tiny touches are fine, like pats and nudges and pokes, but anything engulfing makes him feel suffocated. He doesn't like eating, as it makes him nauseated, but really likes snacking on any kind of nuts. He hates when people think they're entitled to things, like if they look at his notepad without even asking. And, like I mentioned before, he hates cursing and anyone talking about violence.
『BACKSTORY』
Cyder was actually the second and last child of his parents, who loved him dearly. He had a wonderful childhood for the most part, he was fortunate enough to grow up in a good neighborhood, with friendly, open minded people. His older brother Dylan was especially close to Cyder, always seeming to understand the younger boy without him needing words. However, all good things must come to an end. Dylan developed a tumor in his brain, which became his end.
Cyder was visiting his grandparents when this happened, and his parents, fearing that the death would break their little boy's heart, simply never told him.
