❥Lucian, at first glance, seems like a stereotypical Leo. He's typically the center of attention, and would throw a tantrum whenever he isn't. He loves being around people and making people happy, but he's also the type that seeks out other people's reactions as if it's the air he needs to breathe. Making people flustered or upset is just amusing to him and he has no clue why, so you could say he's a bit mean in that regard. Lucian's got a bit of a cocky energy around him, and is a bit too touchy for some people's comfort. He seems like a bit of an asshole, doesn't he? It also doesn't help that he's rather blunt and fiercely protective of his friends.

❥The closer you become, the more annoying he gets, yes, but the more lovable he becomes as well. For one, his presence alone makes people feel safe. Not only would he not hesitate to sock anyone in the face for making anyone feel uncomfortable, he also has this aura that gets people to let their guard down. He lets people be heard, and that's not something that happens a lot. Some find it scary, and others think it's a relief to finally be able to let down your guard around someone. Lucian is genuinely a good person, it's just difficult for people to see that. Think of him as an older brother. He's always there to protect you, but he'll insult you and hit you a couple of times along the way.

❥It's never a dull moment with Lucian, something exciting is always happening around him. It's not that drama comes to him, it's that he's dramatic by nature. He's an actor, and the entire world is his stage. So yes, he may be blunt in some parts, but he also hides many things as well. It isn't easy for him to open up, even though he makes it so easy for others to do so.

《backstory》
❥Lucian is the younger one between the twins, and he definitely shows it. It's the main reason he's so needy all the time, but even though he's younger, he's always been told that he needs to protect his sister just as she protects him.

❥Just like Annalise, he's always been impatient about falling in love and having a beautiful relationship that rivals their parents, but nothing ever felt right. He was in middle school when he finally found out that he was gay. It took him a while to accept it, and he's never even told anyone about it because... well, as much as Lucian pretends that he's strong and fearless and perfect, he's not.

He's terrified of what
❥He's terrified of what people would think; what his sister would think, what his parents would think. He doesn't know if they would understand, and worse, he doesn't know if they would come to hate him because of it. He's been in the closet for about five years now and isn't planning on coming out anytime soon.

❥Persephone, much like her namesake, is as beautiful as she is clever. While she may act sweet, what Persephone truly desires is the darkness, the despair of others, the feeling of being the one in power for once. She and her twin are the same in that regard; they're both perfectionists. Neither of them stop until they are satisfied, and they are only satisfied with the absolute best.

❥Though soft spoken by nature, especially in comparison to her sister, Persephone is a headstrong and self serving person. That's just a nice way to say selfish. She's not the type that would put her neck out for someone without expecting something in return. Her mother groomed her to believe that people are only kind to you if they have ulterior motives in mind, as such, she doesn't really get too close to anyone except for her sister.

❥If Freya was fire; passion, lust, determination, then Persephone was her ice; calculating, rigid, mystery. They are both dangerous and powerful forces of nature, but in opposite ways. Persephone's stubbornness is like a cage, and the animal it's ensnared is her levelheadedness. It's a constant battle inside of Persephone's head where she knows that she's taking things too far, but isn't willing to back down without a fight.

❥Sensuality is the last thing you would think of when envisioning Persephone, though she's well able to conjure up a picture of it if she so wishes to (she grew up with Freya for heavens sake). Instead, she's cold and hard and angry at the world for how they've treated her and her people. Her stubbornness makes her close minded. It makes her believe that people can never change and since her idea of people is already so tainted, that's how it'll be until someone manages to break past her walls and helps her relearn the world in a better light.

《backstory》
❥Freya and Persephone were groomed for perfection. Their mother knew that with the whole world against them, they had to cultivate every single trick up their sleeve that they could just for the chance to fight back. So instead of teaching them love and compassion, she taught them confidence and clarity, to trust no one and never doubt yourself, to listen to your brain before you ever listen to your heart, to make sure that no one would think twice about messing with you.

❥It was an unusual upbringing, but it made Freya and Persephone into the women that they are today, and Persephone could not ask for more from their mother.

❥Persephone is very analytical and observant. She notices things that others would usually not pay much thought to.

❥Confidence is the key to success, as her mother used to always say. Persephone never doubts herself or her sisters decisions and doesn't dwell on her mistakes either.

❥She tends to be rather close minded to everyone outside of her family.

❥She's also extremely stubborn and hates feeling inferior to others. Don't ever offer her any help, even if you're only trying to be polite, she'll take it personally.

❥She's, admittedly, not as good at socializing as her sister, but she noticed that if she just pretends that she's Freya (which she often did as a child, even though their mother could tell them apart in a split second) it's becomes a lot easier to talk to others.
