↳most people assume that shu would be cold and aloof because of his ice abilities, which is not true at all. in fact, shu can be friends with almost everybody, he just tends to stick with a smaller group of people because they're the ones he's most comfortable with.
↳the only reason why shu might seem cold to some people would be because they gave off a bad impression on him. shu is a pretty good judge of character, but he's not perfect, sometimes he can be wrong about people.
↳shu was raised to be protective, he was taught that the things you hold close are easily lost. when it comes to friendships, and especially with his sister, he can be a bit overbearing. he's afraid of losing people. as such, he can be seen by others as 'scary' because he's not afraid to get violent if that's what it takes to protect those he holds dear.

↳shu's father was the man from a certain legend of the yukionna in the ojiya region. it was said that the yukionna fell deeply in love with a man and presented herself as a beautiful woman but had to leave him after winter ended.
↳shu's mother raised him in her forest and often told him stories of his father. his mother said that he was a kind and just man who always protected the weak, which was why shu wanted to become the type of person that would protect others.

↳mira is a carbon copy of her mother. she has dirty blonde hair (a mix of her mother and fathers hair colors) which are usually tied into two braids, with little wisps escaping as she runs around. she clips her baby hair back using pink and blue barrettes.
↳her eyes are blue with a slight violet hue. already displaying the same kindness and excitement that her mother always had. when she gets tired, they become more blue than violet.

↳miréille is an adorable little girl with the most contagious smile ever. she's an eccentric and bubbly character, never seeming to run out of energy (because of all the naps she takes throughout the day). while many people find her annoying, just as many people are endeared by her curiosity and chatty nature.
↳despite the backlash, mira continues to be a positive person. she genuinely doesn't care that other people find her annoying, and instead constantly tries to spread more kindness and positivity around. she loves to make little challenges for herself to see how many people she could compliment in a day or just general little things that give to the world. this shows how selfless in her own little way despite being so young.
↳mira is an open book; you could tell a lot about her just from her speech alone (especially cause she's almost always talking). for example, she's more mature around older people, while she becomes more chatty around people that she likes. if you're someone she wants to impress, she tends to stutter and ramble more. meanwhile, she would be dead silent and glaring to people she hates.
↳it's extremely difficult to make the little princess hate you unless you're a terrible person. as long as you don't actively try to get in the way of other people's happiness, she honestly doesn't mind you.
↳mira is quite young, so she doesn't really know much about anything, especially unspoken rules of socializing like never insult someone to their face or not interrupting people.

↳miréille had a really happy upbringing. she was the daughter of one of the classic fairytales, so of course her parents had their little happy ever after.
↳she was adored and frankly a bit spoiled. she always got everything she wanted from her parents and older brother, as well as the three fairies.
↳she developed her fear of heights after hearing the story about her dad almost falling from a tower while fighting against a dragon. she's been traumatized ever since and would not step foot into the castles towers afterwards.
↳while her brother was always closer to their mom, mira was a daddy's girl. she had a special mother-daughter bond with aurora as well, but there was no one who understood her and could get to her heart like her father.

↳silke is difficult to get along with at times. she's well aware that she's incredibly smart, smarter than most her peers, and she loves to show this off. she walks the thin line of smart ass and intelligence which could switch depending on the person. as such, she tends to give off a bit more of an aloof aura compared to her cousin.
↳half of this over confidence is just for show; a sort of mask, something that would protect her from befalling the same fate as her mother and uncle. ↳"never trust a witch" her mother used to tell her this constantly. "keep your wits to you, and never reveal your intentions until you're sure of theirs." since this nature of hers has never failed her before, she kept cultivating it further and further until it was properly ingrained into her psyche.
↳silke is protective over her cousin, who people usually consider as the more inferior of the two. she would never let anyone bad mouth either of them without getting struck down with her sharp words. she claims to despise anyone "that is so jealous of others that they have to bring them down just to feel better about themselves" but in actuality silke would never stick her neck out for anyone that isn't her dear friend, and she doesn't have many.
↳while it's fair to assume that silke has the more thick skin between the cousins, she is just as fragile to criticism as the next person, she's just gotten better at hiding it. she's not deaf, she knows that people prefer talking to her cousin instead of her. she's been trying to be a nicer person too, and hopefully coming to this school would be like having a brand new start.

↳silke's bedtime stories were never of true love and relying on a prince. they were about learning to fight the evil herself and not letting others treat her like a damsel in distress. so, while her mother had problems, at least she taught silke to be an independent woman.
