Nicky: We're starting off with the history of Nutella. Pietro Ferrero is the creator of Nutella. He made it in 1946, because of the WII there was a cacao shortage. He came up with the idea to use hazelnuts to fill the missing cacao. The first version was a solid Nutella bar with the name Pasta Gianduja. He sold this in his bakery in Italy.

Alex: He takes Nutella really serious

Nicky: They made the creamy version in 1951 with the name Supercrema gianduja. They were only selling this in Italy till 1964. The son of Pietro thought it would be a good idea to start selling the spread all through Europe. To make sure it will be a success the renamed it to Nutella. It was a big success for them and the expended to the USA in 1983.

Fernando: He know a lot about Nutella

Nicky: Not to justify it but it was in the 80s and used in Asia to promote the product

Nicky: The next slide is about the popularity of Nutella, hat Nutella is really popular we all know. Still I will prove it some more. In 2014, there were 17 million tweets that contained the term Nutella. Nutella has also the title in the Guinness book of world records. France is the largest consumer and producer of Nutella. In fact, 100,000 tonnes of Nutella, accounting for 25% of the world production, are produced every year from the Villers-Écalles establishment. Nutella is sold in 75 different countries.

Nicky: Nutella day is on 5 February. On the first world Nutella day everything with Nutella in Italy was free. This was a great promotion which made their sales go up after that marketing stunt.

Nicky: The ingredients of Nutella are a little different in some countries. They are a lot alike, but some have a slightly different taste. The Canadian and German ones are the best. So if you want to give me some Nutella, make sure it comes from does countries. 

Charles: I am more fan of the Italian one

Nicky: You have no taste. The Italian one is second to last.

Val: Nicky is being really serious about this

Nicky: I am just sad that nobody got the great Canadian recipe

Fernando: Can you really taste the difference?

Nicky: Yes I can

Alex: I also didn't believe him. Till we were in a restaurant and he proved to me he could.

Nicky:

Nicky: The best way to eat Nutella. On pancakes is just elite. Red fruits always work but noting beats strawberries. On plain toast is also very nice. The Nutella pizza is the best thing that ever happened to me

Lewis: I never had a Nutella pizza

Nicky: You now pick up your phone and open the delivery app to buy one.

Daniel: I love strawberies with nutella

Nicky: Weird ways to eat Nutella. It works for some reason. Nutella with bacon is heaven. It is so good. Also, I am not allowed to eat it. My trainer is just the worst. I don't eat it a lot but chips with a bit Nutella is also very nice. 

Alex: Your trainer is trying to keep you healthy

Seb: I dont think chips and Nutella is a good combo

Nicky: Have you ever tried it??

Seb: No

Nicky: Do that first before you judge
