Fang transferred to Palau Rintis High on his first year of middle school. He was new - the school's fresh meat. Bullies instantaneously crowded him once the bell rang for lunch. He gulped and looked for his older brother, hoping to be saved. His heart fell when he saw no one.

Fang's breath hitched as a fist connected to his stomach. He shut his eyes closed and whimper escaped his lips. A loud crack resonated through the whole area, and for a moment he thought someone had broken his limbs. But the pain never came.

Opening his eyes, Fang watched a petite raven growl and threaten the seniors, swearing broken limbs and bloodied teeth if they didn't leave soon. They ran, leaving him alone with the foreign raven. Shifting uncomfortably from side to side, Fang thanked him. The raven shrugged and introduced himself.

"My name's Quake."

And there's how he came to know of Marie and his complicated relations with his older brother, Kaizo.

Fang didn't know how he'd describe their relationship. Quake had said they hated each other, though Fang thought otherwise. He knew Kaizo; he'd been living with him since he was a baby that time. His older brother ignored the people he hated, yet he never ignored Marie. Quite the opposite actually. He'd go through extreme lenghts to grab hold of the brunette's attention.

Kaizo didn't hate her. He was obssessed.

Fang heard a crash followed by shrill screams and profanities. He curiously watched the two teens dart around the classroom, oblivious to the chaos they we're causing. Fang sighed.

Maybe he was thinking too deeply into their relationship.
